Encore une fois les photos sont trompeuses! Hygiène douteuse : oui l’équipe balaie et passe un chiffon mais est il nettoyé ? Pas d’aération en cours de nettoyage avec odeur de moisi et cigarettes imprégnés dans la literie ! Situé ente une mosquée et une voie ferré et valets incessant des avions ( l’aéroport proche : peut être un avantage en gain de temps .) Absence de bouilloire dans la chambre Salle de bain avec une grande baignoire inutile et douche spartiate évidemment odeurs de reflux des bondes . Personnel non anglophone . Bref mauvaise expérience

Very close and convenient to the airport. Rather than waiting for the free shuttle, we downloaded the Grab app for a fast pickup and ride. The hotel staff were very helpful via WhatsApp in advance of our stay and we appreciated their excellent communication skills in English while we were there. The breakfast was fun and impressive in a beautiful big dining room with lots of fresh food options and jazz music for ambiance. Room was very clean and spacious--we asked for an extra bed so three adults could stay in our room and they actually set it up with two extra beds! Would definitely stay here again going in or out of Medan. There is an ATM in the lobby, very helpful given the challenges of finding money exchangers. Note, the hotel's name has changed--it is now D'Prima Hotel Kualanamu, not Prime Plaza.

An airline paid for our group to stay here when a flight was canceled. The room was fine. The A/C worked well and the room was clean. The shower had hot water. The breakfast buffet was very minimal. People were smoking next to us. The front desk does not have a locked storage area for luggage if your room is not ready. The other reviews said the “fitness center” didn’t have A/C, so I didn’t bother. So there was nothing to do. The ***** mall next door only has a convenience store and a coffee shop. There’s no where to walk to. I was really bored. OK if you need a few hours beside the airport- but don’t expect much.

Rooms/beds ok and clean for Indonesian standards. However, staff do not speak English, which I cannot understand for a hotel so close to the airport. Check-in took very long - even for the Indonesian guests in front of me. No explanation about the rooms, which story I have to go etc. You are let alone. Further, they scam with the airport shuttle service. It used to be free before Corona, now you have to pay 50k, but BE AWARE, they charge this per booking and not per group. I was with a group with two separate bookings and they charged us 100k, which is ridiculously much for this 10min ride. But still one car. Better book a Grab! Cheaper and no scam.

Pro: Die Lage ist toll, es gibt einige Cafés und Restaurants und einen Indomaret in der Nähe und es ist nah am Flughafen. Auch das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist für die Größe gut aufgeteilt. Das Wifi ist gut. Con: Es war nicht wirklich sauber. Der Wasserhahn im Bad war stark verkalkt. Ich habe versehentlich das Bettlaken angehoben und es waren Haare auf der Matratze, die nicht mir gehörten. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, man sollte Ohrstöpsel mitbringen, da zu jeder Tageszeit Leute kommen und gehen. Kleiderhaken wären auch schön, da es kaum Platz gibt, um Sachen abzulegen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass zwei Personen mit großen Koffern dort unterkommen. Das Frühstück ist ein Witz - Toast, Butter und Schokostreusel. Das kann man dann auch gleich seinlassen.

My husband and I stayed here twice, before and after an eco tour in Sumartra. This is a lovely hotel close to the airport, with a shuttle service to and from the airport. Comfortable rooms, lovely grounds and a large pool. Very friendly staff.

A very nice place to stay. The hotel is located near to the main road with easy access to the Lubuk Pakam town. The room was big and clean with friendly and helpful staff. Place is nearby Kuala Namu Airport with free hotel shuttle. May use Grab services to move around.

Every time I visit this hotel they make improvements. It’s the most conveniently located hotel for an early morning flight and has plenty of amenities.
