A really comfortable and relaxing experience at merry-tale. Located just about the highway, it was very easy to access vadalur, neyveli township and panruti. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and new. The rooms were spacious and ambience very clean

The room was very average the old room mattress was too small and two people were not able to sleep properly. No car parking inside the property has to park outside, price was on the higher side no complimentary breakfast given.

I reached on day one at night 9 pm the reception desk said rooms full.. I said I have a reservation they said no my name isn’t there I got a shock. showed phone message/ print copy and said full payment done I remained stern and waited for half an hour. meanwhile said if rooms are full and a clerical mistake occurred call up the owner, arrange a room in a similar hotel and provide conveyance to my conference avenue for the two days I am there. Sat in the lounge and waited and prayed Reception *** called up elsewhere and then after some time said- here is the key for the room I breathed a sigh of relief. Should have called him up after booking.. but many hotel phone numbers are difficult to find and most inactive

PPengguna TetamuIt's a great place to stay as it feels like home only. And since the place was a little hot the ac was of great help. The place is managed by an old couple and they're super approachable. The place was very clean and immaculate. Loved the stay here. And unlike other hotel stays this feels a little different. I would suggest this place to everyone planning on a trip to visit chidambaram.

We booked the villa rooms. Was like an apartment. Very spacious with separate dining. Clean rooms and bathroom. On-site parking provided. Food was easy to manage since A2B is at the building ground floor. Among all the reasons, the best is less then 5mins walking to Chidambaram temple.

Pros: Very close to railway stn and quiet. Cons: Dust & Cob web everywhere. Restroom in deluxe room was as good as what you get in local lodge. Executive room restroom was better. Water was a bit salty. Path from railway stn is narrow, if you are not comfortable riding your car in reverse for 100m better avoid. No food options nearby. Nearby waterbody is just sewage and it stinks. Deluxe room vibration while train passing by didn't bother me. Pillow provided was questionable, saw hair strands and dust. Kettle provided for making coffee was all covered in dust. I don't think I'll stay here again. OYO / Vandayar hotel kind of place will be better for temple visit. If you need resort kind of environment better look elsewhere. If you decide to stay call and do offline booking else GST is a addon & executive room is better, avoid deluxe room.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed for a night here with my two friends. I was allocated single occupancy room whereas my two friends were allocated double occupancy room. I prefer to stay single. However there was some technical problem in air conditioning unit and hence they relocated me in another room after 02 hours of check in. It was double occupancy room and I stayed single. Room was clean and Air Conditioner performance was average. I had to stay with AC and ceiling fan both were switched on simultaneously. In bathroom, hot and normal water facility was there. Property has ample car parking space and located at centre place of religious town in Tamil Nadu ie Chidambaram. But the hotel doesn’t have restaurant. I was told that it is going to function soon. We had our dinner and breakfast at Sri Krishna Veg Restaurant just opposite to the Hotel where I enjoyed delicious hygienic South Indian dishes in air conditioned ambiance.

PPengguna TetamuStayed at standard ac room. This room is ok for one night stay. As we planned to vacate early in the morning for temple visit, we found this stay to be an average. However i would like to pinpoint two points here. First, though i have booked a room mentioning no of adults as 3 while booking, i was provided only 2 beds and i need to pay additionally for another bed at the residency. Secondly, the room cost was only 1600 rs while i paid 2600 rs for this average room through mm t and additional payment at residence for bed. Not satisfied with the service.

No person for buying breakfast from outside. Room service unavailable to buy tea or coffee in the morning. Bed is good to sleep. Calm enough. Good sleep in the night. Nearer to temple walkable
