I had a delightful stay here with my family in the last week of December 2024. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was responsive and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the location was perfect. The front office staff was particularly warm and eager to assist. I would especially like to commend Mr. Santhosh from the front office, who made every effort to ensure our comfort

This is the third time we have stayed here. The first time was on the way to Kollur, but the other two times, this was a destination in itself. Mr Suresh extends a warm welcome and is on top of everything, making for a most pleasant and comfortable stay. The people working there are friendly and food is awesome. Friendly dogs, a huge swing tied to a tree, a small hill to climb nearby and darkest skies in the night are some of the highlights. Go to place for us.

Amazing resort, clean and well maintained rooms with very good views, very good hospitable staff, very tasty food, Well organized jungle safaries both by jeep and boat. I think it is more advisable to spend 2 nights here. I would definitely visit again post monsoon around October/November.

One of best hotels we have stayed so far. The hotel MD Mr. Gururaj was personally taking care of us and helped us ***** with his staff to plan our trips. The rooms were clean and the toilets were very well maintained. The attached Restaurant serves all kinds of Veg cuisines. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent. This place is very well close to Bhadra Tiger Reserves, Jog Falls, Sakrebylu Elephant Camp and a plethora of ancient Shiva temples. I would definitely visit this hotel next year with my family to catch up with more exciting adventures in & around Shimoga.

I stayed at this place while I was traveling to Mattur. Honestly, the reviews seemed fine to me and being a budget traveler I always look for cheap hotels. Although it wasnt cheap but it seemed good to me. The location was okay, seemed very interior. The worst part was the owner, he was very rude and harsh. I had some meetings in the night for which I asked for a wifi connection and he quickly said no to it. I dont understand for a couple of meetings, how much wifi I would have used. Also, when we extended our stay, he kept calling in the room to pay, knowing we would pay him in the morning. And when asked about how to turn on the geyser, for which he was supposed to send somebody and when asked why he hasnt come yet, he started shouting at me. This is the first time I had a bad experience in the hotel. Apart from this rude behaviour, rest was fine.

The location of the hotel is very close to the railway station and marketing place. The food in the restaurant in its annex was enjoyable. The room size was quite big enough for two of us. All the facilities including bath and toilet were neat and tidy. The staff were very cordial and helpful. Renovation has been carried out recently. Final say the stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

good location, in the middle of the town of sagar, bus stands are at walkable distance. Friendly staff, good food served in the restaurants. Cons
the hotel is not maintained well. The first room that we were given 311 had issues like - ac not working, no wifi signal, damp smell in the room, stained bed linens, rough and stained bathroom towels. When the ac issue was addressed, our room got changed to room number 204. In 204, ac was fine, no damp smell, but the bed sheets and towels were similar to the previous room, wifi signal was weak but working at least with slowness. There was a problem with the wash basin in the new room, the wash basin was always giving too hot water regardless of the adjustment-directions. Overall the hotel needs to be maintained well.
