Pros: - great location in Olbia - Rooms are clean - Nice balcony area on roof, with plenty of seating and great views Cons: - breakfast is limited, with little variety - the beds are quite hard - the air conditioning facility in the room was unreliable - the spa area - to our discovery - is not part of package and thus not free to use! To note - re spa area. We were only made aware of cost incurred after we had used it twice. No info provided in advance about cost, nothing of note in room and no mention when requested initially. Hotel tried to get us to pay for use despite them admitting they had made a mistake in not providing awareness. Owner tried to guilt trip us into paying, leaving very sour taste when we left. We were very disappointed and slightly shocked with the unprofessional behaviour shown. The rest of the staff were lovely! Overall, we were slightly disappointed considering the cost, compared to previous 4 star stays in Italy.

PPengguna TetamuIt is a real four star hotel ( nice pool, nice rooms, …) but the catch is that the air-conditioning is not only loud but also often defective, resulting in a sauna night with a big headache in the morning. Even with mild temperatures, you would not want opening your window facing the loud street and the balcony lighting 24h on. The breakfast has the particularity that you are served at your table, which could be seen as a plus, but the staff ( very numerous by the way) are a bit confused and stressed out with the orders. You get 80% of what you ordered and the rest belongs to the other customers. I required some additional bread, once.. twice… three times and gave up. Customer satisfaction did not seem to be the priority. The swimming pool was the only part that really relaxed us. The reception was very effective and professional. The centre of Olbia is mainly ugly. Only the shopping street is attractive but very loud at night. This could explain why this hotel is fully booked weeks in advance. Maybe the best ( or less worse) choice indeed in Olbia.

Felix hotel was in a very good location, there is a supermarket next door and you can get to the centre of Olbia within a 5 minute drive. It was very close to the airport too, we got the bus and was at the hotel within roughly 20 minutes and the bus fares are super affordable. The closest beach is probably about a 7 minute drive. The room was very spacious, HUGE comfortable bed, shower was big and the room was also very clean. We were given new towels everyday and our balcony was very spacious too with a sofa, table and chairs. The only small downside was the lights system, it was very confusing on what button worked where and it was also selective when it wanted to work. We had breakfast included with our stay and it was quite varied from fry up foods to cakes, pastries (were amazing), yoghurts, cereal, salad and fruit. They also have a jacuzzi that can be used by anyone which was nice to end the day with. The rooftop bar / swimming pool was very pleasant, however it closed very early when we went (8pm) which was upsetting as we wanted to spend some time out of our room in the evening. They also gave us a complimentary drink at the rooftop bar and access to the spa. The staff were sooo friendly and helpful. Smiles all around! Overall, Felix Olbia was very pleasant and I would 100% recommend to anyone who is coming to Olbia. Just a note, you need a car / bike if you want to explore further out from the city of Olbia.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We arrived in our room to find a piece of the wooden door broken off and left in our room beside the door. We asked a member of the hotel staff that escorted us to our room if we could change rooms as it was generally disappointing but we were informed that the hotel was at full capacity, although there was a room available somewhere else. The hotel staff member was reluctant for us to stay in a different room. We then realised that our actual hotel room door did not lock. When you shut it, you could just push it right back open without a key. The room in general was dark and was not very clean. Having informed another member of staff about our room, she inspected it and apologised - she seemed shocked herself. She then put us in another room in a different building. When we arrived in the building it felt brighter and cleaner but when we opened the curtains, we were disgusted by the landfill waist view outside. In addition, we could not get hold of staff when we used our hotel phone and we tried multiple times, which is of course unsafe had there been an emergency. There was also no one to assist us at the main reception point on multiple occasions and we hit the bell a few times but no one responded. Again, this is unsafe in case of an emergency. The staff were generally unhelpful and felt pretty non-existent throughout our a stay, save for the few times we managed to have some interaction. We booked this hotel because it looked lovely in the photos, because of the reviews, and the Travellers Choice Award, and because it was advertised as having been renovated so we could not believe our experience. The reception areas are fairly nice with chic decor and there is a nice scent in the reception room that led to our first room, but besides that, there isn’t anything more positive to say. It also felt as though there was no real atmosphere. To put it differently: the atmosphere was pretty sad. A truly regrettable experience!

EElia YusteEl Hotel Martini mantiene la esencia y la autenticidad de un establecimiento hotelero de categoría: elegancia, limpieza, ambiente relajante, detalles en todo momento y espacio, etc. Pero lo más notable es su personal de recepción y restauración. La recepcionista Marzia Balsamo es absolutamente excepcional, no solo es cordial y atenta, sino que se esmera por dar el mejor servicio. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme en el Martini si vuelvo a Olbia, un hotel que aunque no esté en el mismo centro, tiene paradas de autobús en la puerta que te conectan en 20 minutos con el aeropuerto, así como un bello parque y excelentes vistas del puerto, gracias a una impresionante terraza desde la cual se puede desayunar, cenar o tomar una copa.

Un hôtel qui ne paye pas de mine de l'extérieur mais à l'intérieur c'est vraiment top! A notre arrivée, une personne souriante agréable qui nous a parlé français!! Un hôtel familial où l'on se sent vraiment très bien. Personnes très agréables, rien à reprocher...... Merci beaucoup à toute cette belle famille pour ce chaleureux accueil. Un hôtel que je vous recommande vivement.

MMaxenceLAmazing location in Olbia old town, closed to Piazza Regina Margherita. Very vibrant with lots of bars around and music on Saturday night! Lovely place, with all the necessities. Nice coffee machine to have an espresso in the morning. Very clean! Owner was very helpful and responding on WhatsApp, he came also to fix a little thing in the bath very fast. I recommend! I was sad to stay only 1 day!

When we arrived at the hotel room, we were astonished, as it was really big - at least 50 square metres. We felt ourselves really well. However, as we have travelled in Sardinia quite a lot now, then it is typical that you do not think about heating. You fall asleep in a warm room, but wake up in cold, as the sun does not heat the room any more. The hotel is in a good location - close to Olbia Terranova train station and not too far from the city centre. In conclusion, the hotel is not a disappointment. For this money - it is impossible to get a room spacious like that anywhere.
