Cemerlang
PPengguna TetamuHotel is conveniently located next to JR train station and above Aeon Mall for plenty of food choices. We actually came by car and parking is a flat 800Yen paid to reception and they will issue you a parking ticket which allows for multiple entries during your stay. Breakfast is basic, breakfast area is actually one of the restaurants in the mall.
PPengguna Tanpa NamaI love how convinient the location is. It is basically just outside of the Asahikawa station entrance, next to the bus stations and opposite the Aeon Mall. The room is clean, and it is comfortable. You can rent many items from the hotel for free ex. Pillow, charger, luggage rack... I enjoyed my stay there and have good nice sleep! The price is cheap too. Totally worth it!
If you choose no cleaning service on daily basis, they give you free drinks! I chose Beer and Tea I also love the window that can open and the view from the window.
However, the toilet is very tiny. I feel ”cramep”. I am 160cm and I doesn't feel comfortable to take shower in the bathtub. I almost touch the ceiling. The towel rack is also too tiny that can hardly hang your towel or clothes. Maybe suitable for small kids. LOL. It got ”plastic cracking sound” when I step in the bathtub for shower. The entire toilet feels like a plastic Lego toy ”stuck” to the room. Cute. LOL. Acceptable. I think they should add some hooks in the toilet to hang our items.
The sound proof not sure if it is good. I don't know why you touch or hit the wall it make a huge sound. Like when you take the hanger, it will easily hit the wall board and produce large sound. When you take shower, you will easily hit the wall too. So I always heard those sounds from the next room. Not noises of speaking or music etc but the sound of hitting something. Thank God no noises in the midnight.
YYi ShieanStepping into OMO7 Asahikawa in October is like entering a whimsical, yet refined autumn wonderland. The hotel’s commitment to its local roots shines through, from the delightful Halloween décor to the quirky concierge team, each donning animal masks that pay homage to Asahikawa’s natural inhabitants—squirrels, rabbits, and even the elusive Ezo deer. These playful touches make every guest feel part of the seasonal festivities.
The rooms are a modern take on casual luxury, offering just enough space for comfort without compromising on style. The raised platform bed is a clever design element, providing practical storage underneath and adding to the room’s sleek aesthetic. A standout feature is the open-air lounge on the fifth floor, an unexpected retreat furnished with contemporary pieces crafted by Asahikawa artisans. On chilly evenings, guests can cozy up next to a real bonfire, fleece blankets at hand, savoring the warmth after a rejuvenating sauna.
Though the public bath boasts a modern, serene ambiance, its popularity can be surprising—on one evening, I found myself queuing for a shower cubicle, an unusual experience in such a tranquil setting. But any minor inconvenience was quickly forgotten, thanks to the small, thoughtful touches scattered throughout the hotel. Most memorable was the welcome drink station by the concierge, where Haskap juice—served from a bear motif faucet—offered a burst of refreshing, tangy delight.
Breakfast at OMO7 is all about quality over quantity. The buffet may not overwhelm with variety, but each dish, from seasonal delights like salmon on waffles to the perfectly creamy scrambled eggs, feels lovingly curated. It’s a modest spread, but one where every bite counts, making the start to each day a little more special.
OMO7 Asahikawa manages to balance fun and sophistication with effortless grace—truly a hidden gem for those looking to explore this lesser-known corner of Japan in style.
SS***IThe hotel offers good Onsen hot spring bath and o sauna. The sauna is great but you have to pay 500 yen for the extra clothing and towel whereas Onsen is free. They also give you free drinks vouchers where you can redeem from vending machine.
PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is in a great and convenient location. The train station and supermarket are in front of the hotel, so it is easy to get your needs and go wherever you want to go. Also, the breakfast has a variety of options and good quality for people to enjoy their rich breakfast
GGnoohThe hotel is huge with many tourists. There were queues at the front desk and for the elevators. The hotel is located in the city center of Asahikawa. There are restaurants and gift shops inside the hotel. The hotel provides parking with fees.
JJonielinnI recently stayed at in this hotel and it was a delightful experience. The room was exceptionally clean, well-furnished, and equipped with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making sure every need was met. I will recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable stay.
PPengguna Tanpa Nama
PPengguna TetamuAmazing house with a huge amount of space, impeccably clean. The house felt brand new, and it doesn't get more private. I felt like I was in my own universe. My only complaint is that the host company BreakOut threatens to charge you 5,000 yen for every 30 minutes of late checkout after 10:00AM. This is extremely hostile against your guests. Here is the exact wording from the welcome email:
”Leaving the room after check-out time will be considered a late check-out without permission. A fee of 5,000 yen will be charged for every 30 minutes.”
We were also threatened about being liable of the pipes freeze. While this is a vacation rental in the winter, and we understand their concern about liability, you can advise about this without overtly threatening financial penalties. This speaks to the mean spirited nature of BreakOut (the property management company / private equity firm) and for this reason we will never rent from them again. This is a company that viciously attacks anyone for the sake of profit, and they should probably be on Wall Street rather than running a hospitality company. The smart companies get someone nice as the front facing staff. At Tomato Cube there is absolutely no one, nor was there any email address provided for contact. It is just a ghost ship out there. Even the coffee shop and thai restaurant nearby were totally abandoned.
