We spent a week at Madi Finolhu and it was the most beautiful holiday ever!!! THe place is amazing!!! The beach is sooo big and you can have it almost for yourself!!! White sand and very clear water! You can have a walk around the island along the beach in 30 min! The location of Madi is super good, next to the beach. We used to have brakfast, lunch, and dinner right at the beach with amazing views!! Shariq the manager of Madi was SUPER FRIENDLY with us, he helped us in everything we needed. He made our experience there super special. He become our friend. We also went for a few dives there and it was AMAZING. So many colourful corals, fish... I will never forget about it. And the manta rays experience at Hanifaru Bay (which is around 15 min by boat from Maalhos island where Madi Finolhu is) as MAGICAL. Hundred of Mantas swimming around us... I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Gema (spain)

We are regular guest in this resort, so a complementary bottle of good wine and fruit platter was waiting in the room. The island is green and rooms are very well kept. Personal is very friendly and the food is still very good. Snorkelling is good but the coral on the reef is also like everywhere bleached. Still lots of fish and 2 turtles. Special thanks to our host Roji for her excellent service. She solved some minor problems related to full occupancy in the first days of our 2 weeks stay. When we arrived at Male airport, we had to wait 5 hours for the domestic transfers. We happily could use the Villa Air lounge and sleep some time. We are planning to come back to Royal Island Resort.

Accommodation We had a 4 nights stay at the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort. We stayed all 4 nights in the Overwater Villa and the room is HUGE. The room is very spacious with loads of windows to attract direct sunlight. We had our private pool and a beautiful 180 degree view of the ocean. You can go snorkelling directly. Beds are comfortable. Washroom are very well decorated and comes with 2 sinks. Overall we loved it. Food and Drinks Not a lot of restaurants on the resort/ island but you are provided with a lot of food and drinks selection. Everything is delicious especially the breakfast. The staff members were very attention to details. Dining experience was enjoyable as the staff will often come and chit-chat with you and you feel very inclusive. Even the Chef will come out and talk to you about anything you want :) Overall Comment Very enjoyable stay and the hospitality at the resort is excellent. Everyone is nice and kind (even the guests). We paid our visits to the sports centre, spa, photo-shooting centre and aqua centre and they all provided excellent services. I even had my proposal there to my girlfriend and the Westin team (and especially the housekeeping team) did a good job to provide help with it. And we also love our Overwater Villa. We will surely come back again if we have the chance. Recommend to everyone.

My sister and I stayed at Kiha Beach on Daravandhoo local island for 3 nights and were not disappointed. It is not a resort but one of the best hotels on the island. When we arrived at Male, they assisted us to the domestic plane transfer to Daravandhloo, and also came to pick us up from the local airport at arrival. The rooms were spacious and clean but foremost the staff, Iza, Roshin, Sham, to name a few, always greeted you with a smile, no request was too much for them. The owner Mr. Ali is very friendly and was always happy to chat. We highly recommend a spa treatment with Sara, she was amazing. A few observations: Lunch and dinner are not buffet style but fixed set menu, a choice from 2 options. Yet when we requested something off the menu (such as Tuna Salad bowl), they were happy to oblige. Although the food was plenty, I find personally if the hotel had a salad bar that would have elevated the experience. I was missing my fiber intake :-). Second, it is again preference, but I found the beds too soft and uncomfortable sagging in the middle. The topper was feather-down, so although with good intent, but I found it too hot even with the aircon in full blast. The white sandy beaches with the shallow bays and house reef is amazing. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit rough, however the few times we did manage to snorkel, the reef was alive. Just to be aware as this is local Island, alcohol is not permitted. All and all, we found the experience pleasant and would recommend.

From June 27 to July 12… our first stay here and we are already thinking of booking again for February 2025 as we had such a perfect stay. The hotel very kindly arranged our internal flights from Male to Dharavandoo which we paid for about a week before our arrival. This is very useful because booking directly with Manta Air or one of the other operators costs significantly more. Once we arrived, a hotel staff member was at the local airport to greet us and take us on a short (five-minute) ride to the hotel by golf cart with our luggage. There are around 12 rooms which are all lovely - the beach rooms are a little simpler (but still perfectly acceptable), the luxury rooms are ideal and very well furnished. We had a beach room and our daughters the Deluxe room. Both had excellent air conditioning for very humid nights. The staff could not be faulted, as it is a small hotel, everyone was recognizable and extremely helpful in every sense of the word. The food was excellent, fish, pasta, chicken and much more. As there are only a limited number of people, the food is served directly or as a small buffet and was always hot as it was not left standing for hours as is often found. Prices were very reasonable if you ordered additional meals which were not part of your package and tea and coffee were free and soft drinks very reasonable. The dining and reception areas are perfectly clean and tidy. The bikini beach is about 20 meters from the rooms where there are sun loungers and towels or yoga mats are free from the hotel. In the garden you will find seating and tables for outside dining if you wish. Just ask and a table will be set for you and food will be brought to your table (no charge for eating out). There were rarely more than 10 people using the beach and deck chairs when we were there, so we had a lot of the beach to ourselves most of the time. The lagoon near the beach is shallow and suitable for children taking their first steps in snorkeling. Those with a little more experience can head to the reef just beyond the lagoon and see a much greater variety of fish and maybe even a passing turtle if you're lucky. If you don't have any equipment, just talk to the hotel. The LVIS Blancura is about a 4-5-minute walk along the beach to the harbor and the town itself, where you'll find a variety of shops from gift shops to a well-stocked supermarket and a pharmacy if you need one. you need. All of these products are very reasonably priced (around $1 for a chocolate bar if that helps). There is also a hospital on the island – but I hope it will not be necessary. There are about five or six cafés and restaurants (plus the guest houses and hotels where you can also eat). Overall we were delighted with our stay at the LVIS Blancura and have no hesitation in recommending them for singles, families or couples. As mentioned we will be booking again for 2025.
