Shangri-la never stops surprising and raises the bar! The visit started with a welcome induction from Samira who escorted us to our room and guided us through all planned activities thus we did not miss anything. The day ended up with the most delicious grill from Maestro Mehdi!!! The best one so far in 2023. Thank you, Mehdi! The restaurant staff, though being busy during the Eid holidays with the guests, still managed it in a way that attention was paid to everyone. Breakfast was perfect. Cannot say anything about the lunch as we all got tired from all the activities and were sleeping like babies. In the evening the grill delight was repeated in the restaurant. Checking out was also nice though sad, we had to return to our routine but looking forward visiting Shangri-la again in the near future.

This resort has it all. Comfort, style, authenticity, warmth and delight. We visited as a couple, first holiday without children for 25 years and the memories will for ever stay in our hearts. We are return visitors to Oman, (fourth time) and it draws us back again and again due to its beauty, and warm welcome . In fact we are returning again to Al Husn in a few months time. Al Husn’s staff are on another level to which we have experienced elsewhere. Whilst the service in all departments was exceptional, every member genuinely wants you to have the best time. They all work incredibly hard and their dedication to their work was humbling. On arrival after an over night flight from the UK we were treated to the best, most attentive check in we have ever had by Mustafah and his reception team. Rooms had every convenience you could desire, even down to flip flops for the beach. The bed was divine. If you appreciate architectural detail you will enjoy the hotel which has a true Arabian flavour. We loved enjoying Arabic coffee and dates every day in reception, the sumptuous breakfast and afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks and canapes. Both the Indian restaurant and Sultanah were beautiful. I have written separate reviews for them. Sadly the Indian will be closed for our forthcoming visit. We truly loved the serenity of this resort, it was calm and quiet due to low season and that suited us very well. The beach is not to be missed and the infinity pool is an unforgettable experience. The extended resort over at Al Bandar and Al Waha extend to even more leisure pursuits with the beach, pool and lazy river. Sadly the only negative on our holiday was the reckless behaviour by water sport staff on the beach near Al Bandar. I know they are not part of the hotel staff, but their behaviour was dangerous and we witnessed them being aggressive to a life guard when he tried to intervene. We felt nervous swimming on that beach. Due to the rocks in the water at the centre of the beach, swimming is restricted to areas away from this. These prime swimming spots, and snorkelling areas are taken at both ends of the beach by water sports. Much safer swimming and snorkelling is to be had at Al Husn private beach. Housekeeping were incredible as were all staff around the hotel. Special mention to by the pool at Al Husn who was one of those people who you meet in life who you know has a good heart. Thank you Said for all the lifts in the buggy car to the beach and the laughs along the way. The guys on the beach who attended to our every need. As I said every member of staff is exceptional. Thank you for making our 25th Wedding Anniversary, so special and memorable. We can't wait to see you all again in August.

阿曼這家Jumeirah一定是迄今為止住過的最滿意的，全家都讚不絕口。難得對一家酒店從硬件、服務、環境全方位都能給出滿分，真心就是無可挑剔。工作人員都很熱情，有求必應，房間非常乾淨整潔，一切都太美好了 酒店選址選在了一片天然巖石和海灘邊，環繞在山海之下，艷陽之中，大自然將酒店融入一片自然景色之中。當進入到房間被眼前的海景驚艷到了，透過落地窗，將自然的情趣作為室內空間的視覺延伸，把大自然的靈氣帶入到室內的氛圍中 住在這裏足不出户都不會覺得單調，可以隨時去到酒店泳池和海灘，在躺椅上點一杯飲料享受日光浴，或者在大海里暢遊，舒適又自在

This is one of the best resort hotels we have ever encountered anywhere, although it also hosts conferences and business guests. We have returned four times. It was built by the previous Sultan as a palace for his guests. The current Sultan retains a suite in the hotel. The hotel has a fabulous pool, beach, extensive gardens and spa. The staff are motivated and engage with guests in a friendly and helpful way. The hotel is 30 - 40 minutes from Muscat airport and a bit less from central Muscat. Consider choosing a half-board deal which represents good value for the exceptionally varied food offering in the main restaurant. Avoid the searing heat of the summer months and visit November to early March. If you enjoy alcohol with your meals or at the pool-side check when Ramadan falls as drinking at this time is only allowed in your room.

كانت إقامة رائعة في فندق تحت إدارة الشيراتون ماريوت ، خدمة ممتازة ع مدار الساعة ،يتوفر عشاء السبلة العمانية كل مساء خميس ،موظفون المطعم من طهاة وعاملين على قدر من الاحترافية والتعاون ،بشوشين وخلوقين، يستحق التجربة ،وتحية لمدير المطعم والطاهي طلال ،هناك شئ مميز يوجد لديهم مسبحين واحد عام والآخر خاص يمكنك حجزه لمدة 45 دق لك ولعائلتك، والافطار مميز ومتنوع والمكان جميل جدا.

فندق راقي من الدرجه الاولى ممتاز في الخدمة وسط الحي التجاري وكل الخدمات وراقي في التعامل يحوي مفهوم الحداثة والخدمة المميزة والغرف الراقية فندق جديد يتميز بموقعة المثالي وتوفر الخدمات بالمنطقة وتوفر كافة السبل والراحة.

Great location, rooms are big, it was not so clean but it was manageable. Receptionist staffs and housekeeping people are all ”strongly suggested” to go for the training to become ”well mannered and extremely polite” with all the guest. One ”exceptional” from all the receptionist is the Omani guy whose name is ”Sudiqqe” he was so helpful, always smiling and very polite, accommodating and well mannered from all. The Manager namely ”Mr. Bernard” who was so helpful, very professional and well mannered, is the one who made us feel comfortable and was trying to make us happy from the last few days of our stay in the hotel. He was the one who help us also to recovered my bottle of perfume and the pack of facemask which was ”intentionally stolen” in our room from one of the housekeeping. Overall, if your are looking for a budget friendly hotel, Mutrah hotel can be recommended.
