PPengguna TetamuDe tous les hébergements que nous avions sélectionné pour ce voyage au Portugal, le ”Montargil Monte novo” restera le top du top. Merci infiniment à Teresa (accueillante, disponible et claire dans ses explications), Joao (accueillant, souriant, courtois et prévenant) Ruben (souriant et serviable) et au chef Miguel Varda (pétillant avec une cuisine originale et délicate tout en saveur, merci encore pour la petite mousse de champignon à notre arrivée) pour votre sourire, votre accueil, votre générosité. De notre arrivée à notre départ, cela a été un sans faute : chambre très stylisée et impeccable, admirablement décorée, une vue splendide, une literie idéale, une salle de bain au top, un restaurant hors du commun et magnifiquement conçu. Nous avons eu l'occasion de visiter le parc environnant et il est superbement entretenu (quel plaisir de voir autant de mandariniers). Nous ne tarissons pas d'éloge pour cet établissement qui fait particulièrement honneur à la restauration et à l'hôtellerie. Vous resterez un bien beau souvenir de notre voyage ! Et ce sera avec un immense plaisir de vous revoir un jour lors d'un prochain voyage dans votre si beau pays. Muito Obrigado

The hotel is located well next to the lake, and the pools are decent. However this is certainly not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are a good size and have good views. Not sure why anyone would pay extra for a lake view room though as all rooms have a view of the lake, just some over the pools. There is a rather disconcerting photo of a bunch of old farmers with pitchforks overlooking the bed which isn’t great. There is an espresso machine, but no milk or sugar anywhere to be seen. The service is the thing that really lets this hotel down. Staff are nice enough although not particularly warm. But the service takes forever. We ordered a beer and cocktail from the pool bar and they said they would bring it to our table. It took 45 minutes to arrive, with no one else in the queue. Each day our food orders would take a huge amount of time to arrive, and once our food arrived after 45 minutes, and our drinks came after an hour. It makes no sense as it wasn’t super busy and there were plenty of serving staff. It is really disappointing as there aren’t many close options around, but even so we felt compelled to drive 25 mins each evening to the nearest town to escape the poor service of the hotel. With a management change and better training, this hotel could be a place I could return to, but I can say here and now that I won’t ever be coming back
