The portakal honest not flowery review The good The hotel and setting is beautiful The rooms stayed in balcony room very nice big beds lots of storage fridge and tv in room large bathroom Cleaners excellent Pool area good lots of shade The bad Lots of mosquitoes and flies as hotel by river hotel could spray more to protect customers All drinks and food recorded to room number my bills were wrong twice as additional items recorded that I never purchased I advise everyone to pay bill daily and check it as there will be no apology Hotel owners not happy if your not spending money at hotel bar and restaurant but too be fair bar is more expensive than outside and so is restaurant Measures of spirits in bar are small and drinks are weak Hotel is aimed at elderly clients many of whom can’t make the walk to town which is 23 minutes so will pay hotel prices The breakfast buffet is a cheap affair the bread is the wirst I have tasted sliced so thin you couldn’t butter or toast And two toasters which are soo old and useless might as well not be there food doesn’t get replaced and is monotonous it’s the only place I have ever seen a pancake cut into four Then the really bad Coming towards end if holiday as many have early evening flights enquired about changing rooms which is using the shower at the pool where everyone is on the subbed one customer was a 93 year old disabled man then go to the toil as there is a sink and a mirror to get changed I haven’t seen that since the 80s in turkey Or alternatively if your room is available you can have fir 40 pounds if they have to move you to another room it’s fifty A family who never used the bar or restaurant asked to keep room on but were told room booked but could be moved for fifty their old room was never booked These were just my observations others differ would I return no I didn’t like the hard sell from trips to food and drink If you have the mobility go outside it’s cheaper and better and your not made to feel that you ou have stolen from them But take it what it was enjoyable but not brilliant

We had an excellent stay at ARP Hotel, Dalyan. This hotel is a hidden gem right on the edge of the Dalyan Lake and looking out across to the ancient Dalyan Tombs. Owner Berk Özgen and his team of staff cannot do enough for you and go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The rooms are well equipped with regular towel change, bedding change and room cleaning. In high season I believe the boat service from the town centre to the world famous Iztuzu Beach will pick up and drop off at the hotel dock if requested. And then there's the fabulous, included Turkish Breakfast, which it has to be said is fantastic, including eggs, fruits, various cheeses and lots more all freshly prepared by the team.
