Great place to stay in the area. I stayed here because I was in the area for an event in Simi Valley, the next town over. The price was right. Its located a short walking distance from the Chatsworth Metrolink/Amtrak station, so it was pretty easy to get to from there. (I came from LAX via Union Station). Walking up to the hotel property, I was greeted with a beautiful, well maintained hotel. The hotel did have a very inviting pool, and I regret not taking some time and going in, but the one day I could it was too cold! (even for someone visiting from New England where it was 27 degrees when I left!) All the employees were very friendly with any interaction I had with them. The room was very clean and modern. It was a suite with a fully furnished modern kitchen (so pots & pans and dishes!) and living room, with a seperate bedroom suite. The bed was soft and comfy with fresh linens, and I am usually not a fan of hotel beds, but I liked this one! The two best things about this hotel, besides everything I've already stated, was that it came with a free breakfast buffet with great coffee every day. This helped so much as I didn't need to go elsewhere in the morning before heading to Simi Valley for the event I was attending. The second thing was that this hotel has a policy where they do not clean the rooms daily, unless you request it or stay beyond 5 days. I LIKE this policy and typically request ”No service” for my stays at hotels, and get a lukewarm response when I do. (many hotels do not like this). But at this hotel, I didn't have to, it was their policy not to do so. (I just don't like people in my room when I am not around!) If I had to pick one bad thing about this hotel, and I struggled to do so, was that the housekeeping cracked the window in the bedroom when it was cleaned before my stay for some fresh air. Unfortunately I didn't notice until the third night, and wondered why the room was so loud at 5am when the dumpster in the parking lot was emptied! Oh well, I should have checked the windows when I checked in! But overall, a great place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone!

While there is a lot to recommend this new hotel, not everything is fully worked out. On the positive side, service by nearly all the staff was excellent. Being new, it has a modern fresh feel to it. Rooms are good size and well laid out Very important in LA, parking is free. It is in a residential area, very close to shopping and Porter Ranch. Housekeeping not yet been figured out. Even though it was just opened, they've reverted to the COVID habit of not making up rooms during the stay. With Marriott status, they may make up the room. During our stay, they made up the room twice and missed the third time. Also, a pile of dirty towels and a bag of trash was left in the hallway for more than 36 hours. Even after it was reported to the front desk on the first day. Notwithstanding, this hotel is still recommended.

Hotel hospitality was very good. Didn't try food in the hotel restaurant, it was closed.

Been staying at the holiday inn express for about 3 days now and I absolutely love this place. Not only is the hotel nice and clean but the staff are amazing. They are very helpful and just welcoming. They have breakfast here every morning. The vibes you get off this place is something everyone looks for. The room are nice and big and comfortable. LOVE THE BEDS!!!😍.

I come to this hotel all the time and the staff is always polite and helpful. The location is near the Westfield mall which is also nice.

We had requested a quiet room and generally we prefer the top floor so that we don't hear people walking around. This place has a problem with their third floor. The first room we were shown faced the freeway and the on-ramp and you could hear the freeway noise. I-118 is busy all night. Then we were shown a room on the third floor and told the ”fan” was a bit noisy in that room. Since we thought she was referring to the fan in the bathroom, we thought no problem, Since there was someone cleaning the carpets in the next room you couldn't hear anything. else at the time. Upon returning in he evening, we realized that the ”fan” she had been talking about was equipment on the roof which was constant noise. The front desk when asked about the noise told us, ”oh we get complaints about the noise in that area of the hotel.” She was helpful and we ended moving to another room at the other end of the hall. It still had noise from the roof but not as bad. The entire hotel needs a major overall. The windows in all the rooms were filthy on the outside. Remote after remote were dead. My recommendation, for a few more dollars stay at another hotel. It is a one star hotel that charges like it is a 3 star. Oh and no take and go breakfast. Won't stay here again.
