The room was not cleaned in my 4 night stay. The bathroom sink would not drain. I asked to have it repaired but no one did anything about it. The told me the plumber could not find my room. I was the only occupant of the inn. I never met the inn keeper or anyone else. I asked for a partial refund but was told to get loss.

The hotel is nice enough for a Courtyard (or Residence?? Very generic so I can’t even remember which is said. It has a good enough breakfast spread; good enough (nothing amazing but better than your average hotel continental breakfast) that I didn’t bother venturing to W Concord for breakfast which saved some time. However, there is a lot of room noise (thin walls), and they don’t offer rooms w 2 beds (king + sofa bed is the best option if you want 2 beds but what adult wants to sleep on a sofa bed?). Also, there are no extra amenities in the room - like, not even a plastic cup to get a drink of water, or a plastic bag for laundry. Very sterile. All that said, the biggest issue is the front desk - the check in was slow and the woman working was not friendly or helpful. I actually reminded her that her job was one of hospitality - she was awful. Chelsea, at the little lobby bar, was very nice but she seems to be a one woman show and the bar is advertised as being open before she’s able to even arrive for her shift, and advertised as being open later than she can stay. Not cool on management’s part - it sets guests up for frustration and puts Chelsea in a bad spot.
Unfortunately, this hotel is not up to Marriott standards. Yes, the lobby looks refreshed which is probably true but the rooms have not been changed in 20 years. The tub in the bathroom is disgusting. The overall look and feel of the room is dated and tired there are scrapes on the dressers and Wallpaper peeling it's just a hot mess. To the point where I went out and purchased slippers so I didn't have to walk on the carpet. I was kind enough not to request service every day being there for a week but when I asked for service it wasn't done. And when I went to the front desk to ask, they looked at me like I had six heads. The front desk people don't seem to have any hospitality in them at all nor do they clean the room cleaning people. It's such a sad state of a hotel I wouldn't side my worst enemy there after spending a week run don't walk away from here. There is a new hotel on route nine call the aloft, I would recommend you stay there over staying here. There's also a new residence inn in Natick, which would be a better choice.
