Guayarmina Princess - Adults Only

Hotel excellent, staff very friendly and always happy smiling, willing to help . We stayed in the platinum and found it very good , we used the roast rather than the platinum restaurant as we thought the atmosphere was a tad better but food in both restaurant was really top form . They did a great birthday night for my 60th which was much appreciated, entertainment was good at night , the only let down was the smokers around the pool area during the entertainment, I think there should be a smoking area for the guests who want to smoke during these times as the smell of stale smoke was a bit of annoying, other than that the hotel is a great place for an adults only holiday, highly recommend trip to la laguna for the day for a completely different view of the island. Overall I would rate this holiday 9/10

Stunning hotel in a great locations. Very clean in all areas and good food for all inclusive with the added restaurant included in our booking. The staff are incredibly helpful and explain everything to you! Would suit older couples as we were the youngest there (25). Would recommend to anyone travelling to Costa Adeje to stay here !

We have just returned from our 2nd stay at Guayarmina Princess. I was slightly worried about the room allocation after reading previous reviews for the platinum rooms without a sea view being in the basement. Last time we had partial sea view and a great room on 6th floor.. So my heart sank on check in when I saw the room number was level 1. But we quickly came to really like where we were situated. It’s handy to be there for access at the rear of the hotel and the lift takes you straight to platinum restaurant and infinity pool area. There was a slight drains smell some days in the corridor on level 1 as others have mentioned but nothing too bad. The music from Yuma the bar opposite the back of the hotel is very very loud at night, some nights worse than others, but stops at 12 - 12.15. I made sure we took ear plugs with us after reading reviews! The Hotel response to reviews on here js that sound proofing meets minimum standards or similar, but I really think it needs to be upped beyond that in the rooms that back on to Yuma as I imagine would put many people off returning, particularly as the majority of guests I would say are over 50. We are in our early 50’s and I actually liked most of the music they played just not at that volume late at night! We did not go to reception about it as couldn’t face the thought of packing up our stuff and unpacking again to move rooms. I really can’t understand other reviews which complain about the food (particularly if platinum) and rude staff. Firstly, the food choice in my opinion is excellent, I don’t eat meat other than chicken and do eat fish and I always found different things to eat in the main buffet restaurant. We ate in the Platinum every morning for breakfast and our evening meals were split between the Roast, Platinum restaurant and the buffet. Some lunchtimes we just got a salad or toastie from the pool bar rather than going to the buffet to make the most of the sun time! We had an amazing holiday and didn’t want to leave and will definitely be returning in the future. Also all the staff we dealt with, particularly in the bars and restaurants were exceptional and work very hard.

We’d booked a standard room on High floor for ten days from 5 November. Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The staff are amazing.. check in at reception, the housekeepers, restaurant staff, bar staff, pool staff, cleaners, check out staff. Everyone was smiling, friendly and very professional. Food in the food market was amazing - bubbles and smoked salmon every other day (as well as caviar) at breakfast. Also full English with decent baked beans and the best scrambled eggs I’ve had. Poached, fried and omelettes cooked to order. Also plenty of fruit, cereals, breads, pastries. Loads of coffee machines so no queues. Lunch was buffet, from menu or snacks from two of the bars. Dinner amazing at buffet and and also The Roast. Loved the app to book sun beds and restaurants - really easy to use but there was also huge screens to use in reception (or staff to help). The whole place was so clean too. 100% would recommend and I’d question any negative reviews.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. We had an upgrade to a Platinum room and it was much bigger than the standard room. Loved the idea of booking beds early in the morning although there are plenty of beds around both pools. Entertainment was fab although I would suggest maybe some sort of show as this would add some variety to the entertainment programme. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars outside the hotel. A trip to Siam Mall is a must with shops like Mango Zara H&M plus other fab shops! There’s a free bus just up the hill opposite the hotel ask reception for times. Rooms are freshened daily I would say take some teabags if you like your cuppa as theirs are quite weak. Food was lovely I particularly enjoyed the salad bar. I would recommend using The Roast restaurant if you have the chance as the food there was fab! Checkout at 12 o clock is great and there are rooms downstairs you can shower and keep your luggage safe if you have a late flight. I will definitely be returning!

The most amazing hotel, food was excellent.. staff so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. Our Room was so lovely with a beautiful sea view. Hotel is right on beach with some lovely bars and restaurants. We had the best holiday and will 100% be coming back to stay at this hotel.
