How anyone can fault this place is beyond me yes rooms are not mod cons but the beds are comfy and pillows the food is brilliant we had 2 air con towers in our room that was good enough our room faced the pool on the first floor 066 it was a big studio with fridge and sink microwave etc we were all inclusive so didn't need to use anything there was a bit g patio with table and chairs and a pull out washing line rack hairdryer in the bathroom it was lovely we only had 5 nights me and my sister wished we had booked for longer it is only a small walk inline to the hotel I mean a small incline straight down the hotels road across the road road straight down is a beach and you can walk to either side for other beaches there is a small area to smoke at around the pool and a life guard on duty but he missed a child that nearly drowned it took a man in the pool to save the child life guard was quick to tell children anc parents no balls in the pool though this was the only fault the hotel had all the other staff are friendly your nice to them they ate nice back unlike what some people have wrote the Irish bar is lovely you can smoke outside of the bar theres a singer on every night and its open till around 2 am so request a room with a pool view so you can sleep be careful of the scooters as they ride on the pavement they shouldn't but they do my sister nearly got knocked over so be wary whilst walking around costa adeje we loved the hotel plenty of sun loungers we separated our 2 so we weren't blocked in restaurant you were served drinks in the evening and lunch time at the pool bar lunch time always something lovely to eat like i said we had a brilliant time loved the hotel and staff very friendly carn't go wrong and free wi fi

We stayed here for a week and were really happy with the Santa Maria. I had read reviews so knew not to expect anything too fancy. The hotel and our apartment was spotless. Yes it looked a little dated but we didn't care. Cleaning was done every other day with new towels and clean bedding. I had asked for a quiet apartment due to having autism but we had an apartment on the nosiest side. However as we had a corner apartment and the space and large balcony really suited us (3 out of 4 of us have autism and need space) we decided not to ask to move. However do be aware that the noise from the adjacent bars really is excessive as they seem to compete with each other for music volume until around 1am so sleep before this time is pretty difficult. You also get the shouting from drunken ****** at various hours of the morning plus they seem to do their bin collections in the early hours of the morning and this is also very noisy. I was a little concerned about the food after reading reviews, as we booked half board, but I found it to be really good. Lots of choice, always salads and breads available. Plenty of options for the main meal and desserts. Breakfast had lots of variety as well. I would say the food wasn't always that warm and often the chips were cold. The meats were always very nice and the BBQ night was really good. I found the reception staff were efficient but not overly friendly. All other staff were friendly and the restaurant staff were very efficient at getting drinks and clearing tables. The bar outside was overpriced and I only used this once for 2 basic ice creams then didn't bother again. The swimming pool was also really cold and I only went in once. I noticed most sunbeds were taken with towels but far less people around which was annoying, especially as all the beds around the pool were taken. The staff really should remove these towels. I did not find that they were out there too early though and the so-called rush for sunbeds did not happen, there were always some available. This didn't bother me, but my husband and my son found the apartment too hot to sleep properly as there was no air-conditioning and the fans didn't really help. Location of the hotel was brilliant, so close to lots of places within walking distance and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around. My advice would be walk down to the sea front but then go right rather than left. Fanabe is just around the corner which is a nicer spot than by the Playa La Pinta beach area.

Just arrived back from a 10 night last minute deal to Santa Maria really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are not modern they are dated but are spotlessly clean and huge. Room we were in did have air con Kitchen has all the things you need to make a meal if you are self catering. We were on half board option food was fine and me being a picky eater found something to eat. Hotel staff put a bottle of bubbly in our room as it was my husband’s birthday which was a really nice surprise. We found the staff very pleasant a big shout out to Kamila who was lovely and friendly and always had a smile for you. Would definitely stay again

Had a lovely 10 nights at this hotel, we went all inclusive and only on 1 night we struggled to find a meal to eat. No wars for sunbeds, rooms are a little dated and we had no air con which I was aware of before I came, so we hired an air con unit. Only thing I can grumble about is the days when the rooms aren’t cleaned you don’t get towels. You ring reception and they get the maids to bring them on 2 occasions this took well over an hour for them to arrive. Overall lovely hotel and location, entertainment staff Claire was amazing!!

We are alredy many times was in our love hotel Santa Maria. Look like at home all the time. Special Thank y for Camila, Carlo, all girls from the bar. I will write: Friendly and personal service The staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again and again. Hope we wll be back en detsember, look like usually!

Brilliant hotel! Great staff really go out there way for you .. local to everthing thats a bonus :-) we have Been going this hotel since my daughter is 6 months old and she is 12 now .. I was lucky enough to get engaged here christmas 2022 We are now back again novembember to cleabrate my 40th and book our wedding over here .looking forward to seeing Carlos and the team
