This motel also goes by the name Countryman Motor Inn. I booked it because other reviews say that the owners/staff was good. I did not have a good experience with them though. First of all there was no clear information on how to use the NSW vouchers. When I sent them a message in Booking.com, they said that I can use the vouchers when I arrive in reception. But they left out the part on HOW I can use the vouchers. Apparently, to be able to use the vouchers I should NOT pay via Booking.com's online payment system but should pay personally at the reception itself. I was not informed about this (despite me having correspondence with the motel staff via the Booking.com messaging system) and I paid via the Booking.com online payment system. When I arrived at reception, I was simply told I cannot use the vouchers and that it was my problem. The staff just wanted to wash their hands and didn't want to do anything with it. I had to make two calls to Booking.com (who were extremely helpful) and had to go back and forth with the staff just to get it sorted out. My feedback to the management of this motel is, you should do your best to help the customer instead of leaving them in a lurch. If your reception just offered to help me and made a simple phone call or email to Booking.com, the issue would have been resolved very quickly and without much fuss.

It would have been a much better stay if we had hot water to shower with on night 1. In the freezing night temps this was agony on our 70 yr old bodies. It wasn't helped when there was no apology or offer of compensation the next morning. Poor Wifi and no data connection added to our negative stay but I have doubts that this was the motels' fault. Apart from these important failings the room was nice and parking easy. Location is good in the CBD and surprisingly not too noisy. I have my doubts about the installation of a 'box' 240V/USB plug on the bedhead between the pillows. My wife got tangled through the night when her USB cable fell onto her head.
