A few issues such as our 2 rooms (junior suite with balcony) were at different levels (1501 and 501) for 2 nites and (1501 and 1101) for 2 nites. Slow to check in because the front desk refused to try to relocate the 2 rooms to be closer.
Poorly trained staff with little or no English communication skills. Poor management because I requested to see the hotel manager but she never showed up in the hotel everyday whenever I asked .
The bathroom has a weird shaped tub which a user need to stand or sit in the small tub to take shower. No curtain, so water splashed all over the floor. The soap holder is too far from the tub. Sliding glass door with mismatched pull-down blinds that block the bathroom door. Moulds all over the blinds.
Small gym room with old broken basic equipment and rusty free weights.
Pool deck is tired looking with mouldy and broken tiles and rusty railing. No towels provided at pool deck.
Buffet breakfast is so so. After we shared our opinion about the food taste/quality we were offered fried noodles to calm our disappointment about the food.. A friendly customer service supervisor always looked after us during breakfast. Tea was weak but they made us strong tea with tea bag in each tea cup.
Mattress old and soft. They changed it after I made a complaint about it.
We could feel an effort to improve their service upon receiving our feedback.
Good ocean front location and great view from room balcony. Many cafes, restaurants, a few pubs, convenience stores, money changer at the back streets.
