Overall, our stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience. the walk from the bus stop to the hotel was a bit difficult with our luggage due to the uneven road. Nevertheless, the hotel is in old town and owner was super friendly with food and places recommendations. The room was clean and the heated bed was a welcomed feature in the cold weather. We highly recommend this hotel, and advise informing the owner in advance about your arrival so they can arrange for assistance with luggage.

Excellent location, shopping street at the door step. There is a pub opposite the hotel. Not too noisy as the hotel room sound proofing is good. Hotel staff have recommended us a list of restaurants and cafe. Excellent recommendation. Have visited both 喜洲and 双廊. Prefer 喜洲 than 双廊. Avoid passing 下关in the evening. Massive traffic congestion.

Loved our stay here. There are only stairs, but the staff will help you with your luggage. It is also only 1 min walk to Dali Ancient Town

This cute little hotel was perfect for the price. The rooms had comfortable beds, and the staff made sure that your stay was perfect, helping me when I lost a bag, organising some SF and generally helping us enjoy our trip. Its location is perfect for exploring Dali.

The place is located in the Ancient City. It is a walking distance to every part in the Ancient City. The receptionist is very kind and warm despite of our language barrier but we managed to communicate via Wechat Translator.

I had an amazing stay at Yutang Luxury Resort Hotel, located in the heart of Dali’s Gu Cheng. The location itself is a huge plus—nestled within the charming old town, it’s easy to take your time and explore the vibrant surroundings. The hotel serves a simple but delightful breakfast, and I found it to be just perfect for starting the day. It’s not overly extravagant, but it’s incredibly satisfying. One of the best things about the resort is its proximity to bars and local nightlife—just a short walk away, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of Gu Cheng until late. The staff at Yutang were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone visiting Dali. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warmth.

We arrived in Dali close to 11pm but staff was still around to assist us with check in, which we were very grateful for. The hotel was amazing - great location, sparkling clean, complete with all the amenities you would need after a long day of travel. Every hotel staff we encountered was extremely hospitable. Highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Dali!

Great Location: 10-minute walk to the ancient city. Comfortable Room: Bed comes with a heater, and the shower has hot water with high pressure, but no smart toilet bowl. Friendly Staff: The staff were welcoming, and we received a free upgrade to a better room. Simple but Nice Breakfast: The breakfast was basic, but enjoyable. Nice Decor: The hotel has a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, with tasteful decoration. Nice simple breakfast (see photo) Good value for the price!

The location is so Convinient walking distance to dali ancient town. Having a good nice chill vibe
