We had great staying experience in Viceroy . Staff is excellent , very polite and caring , friendly . Special thanks to Mr. Arindam , he is amazing and extremely kind and supportive person who always keen to help guest. He is also creative in creating different types of dishes . Thank you again !! Very welcoming staff and a comfortable stay overall. Food was amazing too. Every room has a heater so it comes in very handy when it gets cold. The food manager was very intellectual and talented. He knew around 9 languages and it was very easy to converse.

Everything was great here starting from the check in till check out.Staffs were very helpful and they went above and beyond to help us. Good food , nice view of kanchenjangha, good location.i have to mention Mr.Arimdam sen who helped us in multiple occasions starting from recommending good places to eat / helping us to get good quality tea etc. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to visit Darjeeling

I stayed at the Viceroy Hotel Darjeeling ***** with my mother and maternal aunt from 23.10.24 and had checked out on 25.10.24 morning. I would like to share my experience during our stay at the hotel. I had initially booked the Deluxe Room through Make My Trip but changed to Attic Room ( room no: 506) by paying the requisite charges after reaching the hotel and talking to the reception staff ( I paid the same by UPI at the time of checkout). 1. The hotel offers one of the best views of the Mt. Kanchenjungha that any hotel in Darjeeling currently offered and we were lucky to catch breathtaking glimpses of the snow clad peaks of Mt. Kanchenjungha from our hotel balcony on 23.10.24 evening and 24.10.24 Morning. 2. Special mention must be made of the Food and Beverages Manager Mr. Arindam Sen who touched our hearts by his courtesy and made our visits to the hotel restaurant memorable by ensuring excellent service. In fact, we had all our meals in the restaurant inspite of having plans to take the food outside because of all the excellent food,extremely courteous behaviour of the restaurant staff and for Mr. Sen who made all of us feel at home. 3. Other staff at the hotel were also quite helpful and were more than willing to serve us whenever we needed anything. Now, two feedbacks ( not complaints): 1. It is difficult for the senior citizens to climb so many stairs from the roadside to the hotel reception and then to the first floor from where lift is available. Hence, my suggestion is if the Hotel Authorities may look into the option of providing at least ramp services upto the hotel reception and lift services right from the reception to all the floors instead from the first floor. 2. The quilt to the bed was not initially changed during our check in to the room and also on the next day Morning when housekeeping was done. Only when my mother discovered a stench on the quilt the next afternoon and I called up the reception and asked them to change it, the same was changed immediately. This aspect needs to be looked upon. Overall, the experience was indeed memorable and I once again would like to thank Mr. Arindam Sen for the courtesy and excellent service extended by him during our stay.

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay in the hotel Viceroy. The hotel has a history of its own. We stayed from 08th to 13th Oct, 2024 as a tourist with family. Hotel is well connected with all means of communications. Walk-in distance to Mall road, taxi stand, near to Darjeeling(toy train) railway station. Parking space is available, it is just a space not an area. Lift is available from the 1st floor after climbing few stairs from the parking space of the ground floor. The Room -Well spacious, we stayed in executive room. The room had one king bed and one living / sitting space with extra bed, two bathrooms/washroom with all the modern amenities, and gadgets, including running 24x7 water. The Room view - Mountain (Kangchenjunga), clock tower. front view of the hotel. The room is good for 3 adults. Hygiene and cleanliness - A well maintained property with regular house keeping of for every room. Our special Thanks to the house-keeping team for their support and helping us. Suggestion - Try to keep the nozzles of the taps, showers clean, as the choked nozzles sprinkle water here and there from the taps which makes and keep the bathroom always little wetty Food and restaurant - Good, Testy and properly cooked food. Buffet breakfast was good with mix of english and Indian items. Mr. Arindam Sen was very cordial, and helpful, he took extra care towards our ealderly mother and serve us food of our choice. Our special Thanks for his kind gesture, we wish him good luck. His surprised sweet dish was very good to taste and sweetness was well balanced. All the staff in the restaurant were well trained. Suggestion - try to maintain the hotness of the hot pot, like the sauted veggies kept over it over boiled within few hours. Staff and behaviour - All the staff of the hotel was very helpfull, cordial and well behaved. We had a very warm welcome at the reception on our arrival with a khata scarf. Overall it was a very peaceful, pleasent stay, Thank you Viceroy hotel's staff for your warm hospitality.

We had visited darjeeling last week and stayed at hotel viceroy. We enjoyed the hospitality extended by the staff. The rooms and service was very good. Food was excellent. The F&B Manager Mr Arindam was very warm and courteous. We wish him all the best for his career.

We stayed at Viceroy during our recent October 2024 visit! We had taken the Attic Room which offers spectacular views of the City and Kanchenjunga on a clear day! The hotel was clean and very well maintained and the food was very good. The Restaurant Manager Mr. Arindam Sen was super helpful and even catered to special requests for customers. Amazing stay!!

The location of the hotel made our stay extremely worthy. It was closest to the Mall for us to walk it down every evening and savour each moment of enjoying the food and purchases. The hospitality of Vishalji, Vivekanandaji and Arindamji made us feel that we were in our own home. They ensured that we are most comfortable and each and every request of ours was respected with priority. The best part was the clear visibility of Kanchanjanga from the fifth floor deck from our room and window made our trip most memorable. Thank you Viceroy.

We had booked the attic duplex room . The room had all the amenities. The food was fantastic. Special mention to Mr. Arindam Sen - Food & Beverages Manager . He made sure the food was made to our preference and extremely helpful. Kudos to the team .
