À bit difficult to find, room in the basement and noisy but friendly staff and good price.

I absolutely recommend that place for many reasons, and especially because of the lovely staff. Awesome!!

I was greeted with a fruit platter during check-in, which was a wonderful welcome gesture considering I left my home about 24 hours earlier, traveling non-stop from California to Datong, China. The Inn provides a wonderful experience for the first-time foreign visitor. The interior decor has that Chinese charm consisting of artwork, a book display, an aquarium with an auspicious collection of 8 large fishes (carp, I think), in-room tea set with an on-table electric stove, which would be unique to most Westerners. The glass flooring adds an extraordinary appeal since I have never experienced that in a hotel before, and I have traveled to dozens of countries. The Inn is well located, a short bus ride to Datong Railway Station (for non-high-speed rail travel)*, and a short taxi ride to Datong South Railway Station (for high-speed rail travel)**. It is just next to Datong City Wall. You can walk along the top of the City Wall at no cost. A 10-20 minute walk takes you to nearly all the attractions within the ancient City Wall. Here you will also find a variety of restaurants serving local food as well as souvenir shops. There is also a small shop that sells sundry items including drinks (beer included) within a 5-minute walk from the Inn. Across from this sundry shop, is a shop that specializes in ancient Chinese clothing (Hanfu dress). They can dress you up, cosmetics included. The Inn provides directions to Yujian Yun Gang - a popular destination for travelers to Datong. Here you will see ancient Buddhist cave art, including large and tall (several stories tall) sculptures. It takes two bus rides to get there, 1RMB per ride. My booking choice was for either a guest room on the 1st or 2nd floor but was assigned a wonderful 2nd-floor guest room. The owners of the Inn were exceptionally friendly. I met both the mother and her daughter. My room was professionally cleaned and provided with drinking bottled water daily. If I return to Datong in the future, I will certainly book a room at this Inn. *I took a train from this station to travel south to Xinzhou after checking out. **I arrived in Datong from Beijing Daxing International Airport

Hotel is traditional Chinese style with many lantern and decorations. Room is air-conditioning damage and many hair in bathroom. Should be cleaned carefully.

是家連鎖店，就在古城裡，房間很乾凈，有茶台，各種不同的吉祥物擺件。大廳佈置很有大同味道，很講究，厚重的大同歷史底藴，老闆是個美女，聲音好聽温柔，還賞了一瓶山西醋。

酒店環境非常好，就像家裡一樣温馨温暖。酒店的常經理人也美、聲音又甜，服務還特別周到，為這次大同的旅行加分。再去大同一定會再選木蘭客棧。

房間很好，乾淨，入住提供一次性浴巾和桶裝水，還送了一瓶醋。雖然是地下一層，但有個大玻璃一點兒也不感覺悶。前台服務很熱情～

非常驚喜的一家客棧，十一臨時決定去大同玩，帶着父母孩子入住了木蘭客棧，離古城、代王府比較近，溜達着就可以過去。環境鬧中取靜，能非常好的休息。房間也比較大，設施很新。老闆熱情，服務周到。長者讚不絕口，住宿的體驗也給我們全家留下了美好的回憶，下次來還會選擇這家的。

房間乾淨衞生

老闆小姐姐很熱情，笑容甜美，服務周到，客棧佈置的很有特色很美觀，設施完善，乾淨衞生，在古城裡，打開窗户可以看見衚衕小路，很有感覺～退房的時候發現客棧還有一衹小狗狗叫發財，超級可愛😍

服務很好，正好遇到中秋節🈶家的感覺，很温馨，當地月餅好吃，水果也不錯，😘😘😁😁😁下次還來

房間佈置很不錯，四合院改的民宿，距離景點很近。這次住的房間在地下一層，建議去的時候別直接聽到地下停車場，可以直接上去到酒店。

位置特別方便，就在古城裡，停車也方便，二樓還有天井，很有特點，房間也夠大。老闆還送了果盤和一套小茶具，第二天前台阿姨還要送，我説已經送過了，太熱情了。來大同古城推薦住在這家哈！

Está muy bien ubicado, en una zona muy tranquila pero a un paseo de las calles principales. El personal es encantador, me ayudaron con el taxi. La habitación era bastante amplia, limpia y cómoda. La cama es demasiado dura para mi gusto. El baño perfecto.
