The hotel is located in a perfect location, within walking distance to the central area, shopping malls, etc. Most of the rooms are spacious and perfectly fine for even longer stays (I was there for nearly a month). A nice swimming pool on the top floor is never crowded and the use is free to hotel guests. The choice of food at the restaurant is good, and most of the staff speak at least English. A rich buffet breakfast is served every day. The underground garage is available for free to guests. A large square behind the hotel is often used for various cultural events.

What a nice building this hotel is from the outside, only to find out that it is even better from the inside, offering a great and tranquil ambience. Stayed here for two nights. Walking in, you are instantly greeted by the lovey staff. Very comfortable rooms with great interior design as well. I must mention the restaurant as well, since all the dishes we tried had something special, unexpected and surprising in them, making an otherwise simple burger tasting exceptional. This is the place to stay at when in or around Debrecen.

The Hotel Divinus restaurant completely changed. Fully refurbished. We visited the newly furbished restaurant with new restaurant manager and chef. The menu is excellent, both fine dining and traditional dishes. The mushroom soup was excellent. There are no words about the veal liver with onion chutney and mash. All very tasty. If you stay in Debrecen, do not miss the Dominus and Divinus restaurants in the hotel.
