Hotel Djerba dengan Bar

We visited for a one-week holiday, via the Loveholiday company, using Easyjet. We paid extra for reserved seats in the plane, a 23kg case in the hold, also a sea-view suite in the 5-star hotel. Total price £490 each! A young couple we met cut out all the niceties and paid only £300. Amazing. This hotel was only on the market in 2022, so all looks fresh. The rooms are well furnished and offer a good sea view if you have booked that type. The beds and sort fillows are very comfortable. Our room cleaner, Saida, excelled herself. Each day, when we returned from the beach, the room looked like an immaculate show room. Many thanks!. The breakfast has freshly squeezed orange juice, and good coffee from two machines. The croissants and other pastries are very good. The baguettes were not so good for a few days. for some reason, but then improved. The main restaurant has well-spaced tables and an amazing range of dishes for dinner. Countless salads, meat dishes and local fish (often grilled whole fish). We stayed recently at Les Orangiers Beach in Hammamet, where the food was nowhere near as good as here. There is a heated indoor pool (32C), a large outdoor pool and... the wonderful Mediterranean, translucent as ever. The 23C temperature was a little cold on entry, but wonderful;y smooth for swimming once you were in. The loungers were fine. but there was the usual problem with shade from the sun. The rather small sun-shades threw their shadow some distance from the pole, and it was never possible to get two loungers in the shade. Bring some factor-50. The sand was great and you could spend the day watching splendid camels and horses near the water's edge. Taxis are unbelievably cheap in Tunisia (15-20 minutes ride for £2), so you can visit Houmt Souk for a seafood lunch in one of the many seafood restaurants there, which are also only a fraction of the cost you would pay in Europe. We were lucky to have blue skies and warm sunshine every day, even in late November. A great holiday.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, genug, und viel fältig. Es gab jeden Tag was Neues. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Hotel Lage war auch super, praktisch Fuß am Meer. Ruhig und Sonnig.bis zum Sommer werde ich nochmal buchen. LG Houidheg

This was our first holiday in Djerba and I would name it as veery good. The hotel is directly at very nice beach,dinners at the terrace restaurant were really stunning. It can be seen that hotel is still working on how to be better and nicer place for their guests. Staff was very nice,smilling all the time,even we saw them working hard every day... Food was really good,quite a lot od varieties during our 11 days stay. We tried ala carte restaurant as well,I really recomend it, delicious food 👌👌... What I see as a minus of this hotel is animation team - when I compare with other hotels in Tunisia, this team in my opinion is not working as team for guests, they should probably rethink aiming of animation according to the guests, because there happened very often that they were having better time than guests 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. The best shows in the evening were done by outsources,not amimators. Manager of animation team was just angry walking around the place with his phone and not trying to manage them and if so,he was just rude to them in front of the guests,which I think is not good for the good feeling of the guests... So overall, we enjoyed our holiday in this hotel,mostly I think is not for young people,maybe middle age and older, services were really good for Tunisian 4star hotel, just level up animation and it will be so much better to go there for holiday 😉😉

My husband and I stayed at this resort from the 18th to the 25th of November. It was a last minute unplanned all inclusive break away from the cold. It was very quiet in the hotel as it's the end of season but we expected that. The whole experience from beginning to end was a pleasure. The hotel is huge and could do with updating in some areas but on the whole it is very nice, especially the main pool area. It is a huge complex with Berber style chalet like accommodation and two story hotel rooms. We were given a beachfront 1st floor room which was a huge bonus and it was very clean and had the basics. One major criticism is that there was no kettle in the room and so we couldn't have our coffee and hot chocolate in the morning and evenings. Waking up every day to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore was lovely. There was a lot of sea **** in a certain part of the beach due to recent storms in the Mediterranean, but we walked further down to avoid that area where it was beautiful white sand and turquoise waters. Due to the limited number of guests the choice of dishes was reduced, but we had the local Tunisian dishes on most days which was very nice. The buffet restaurant was the only one open for obvious reasons. We had to warm our food up in the microwave most of the time though as it wasn't hot enough. The staff were excellent and very attentive. One evening they decorated a table just for us and led us to it instead of the one we were going to sit at. It wasn't even a special occasion so that made it an even more heart warming gesture. Wi fi connectivity was very poor and could not be accessed in the rooms but just around certain areas near the main pool and was supposed to be in the reception and bar. Unfortunately there was a problem with it on arrival and we were assured that it was being fixed. On our third day the manager approached us at dinner and asked us if everything was ok. We mentioned the wi fi issue and he gave us a sim card for free and set it up. We hadn't asked for one and so were very grateful. The hotel kept on some of the entertainment staff but due to the small number of guests, they were limited to the type of entertainment they could put on. They were very friendly, especially Hashmi who we chatted with quite a bit. We went on two excursions. One to mainland southern Tunisia, to Tataouine and Chenini and the other to the sights in Djerba and a crocodile farm in the afternoon. Both trips were well worth it and we had the same guide, Aladdin on both trips. Our flight back wasn't until 7pm in the evening and the transfer time was 3.15pm. The manager let us have late checkout for free which was so nice of him and meant that we could just chill and not have to worry about luggage and what to do for the day. This was due to the hotel being so quiet of course. All in all it was a lovely break and excellent value and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Maybe I live on another planet, but I really didn't like this hotel. The rudest staff ever especially Jamal at the front desk who charged me the local tax for an extra night when I wasn't staying there and kept the money for himself. I have been travelling in Tunisia a while and this was the worst hotel so far. Yes, my previous two hotels were luxury 5-star but I had stayed in other 3-star hotels during my trip. The positives. Nice grounds and setting. Clean. Huge room like an apartment with a kitchen area if you want to cook anything. WIFI worked well. Now, why I didn't like it. The room was like an oven. There is air conditioning but this didn't work well and mainly flowed in the lounge area rather than the bedroom. I struggled to sleep. It was cooler outside! The bathroom was very basic. No complimentary water provided. There is a small supermarket opposite the hotel and what appeared to be a coffee shop but other than that, the area is pretty dead with nothing around. You need a car or a taxi to move around. My room rate did not include any meals but suggest adding them. As I said, there is not much around. I included breakfast and had the buffet dinner twice during my stay. Breakfast was a basic buffet, but adequate with breads, pastries, an egg station and more. Not huge at all but enough. Coffee was awful. The dinner buffet was fine. Again not a huge selection but enough. The food was nice but skip the desserts, too sickly sweet. Drinks are not included. Cheap. They have an à la carte menu too for dinner which mainly includes Western dishes. I got a little bit annoyed with the waiters as they kept hovering over you when eating, watching and all I wanted was to be left in peace. On my first night, I was encouraged to have something from the à la carte menu but why do I want to have pizza and pasta when I can have that at home? Go for the buffet. Reception staff were unfriendly and never greeted you. My stay was meant to be for 4 nights but I checked out after 2 and went to another nicer hotel. There is a small swimming pool as well. Not for me.

Les personnels sont très accueillant, la nourriture était varié par contre il y'avait une file d'attente pour les plats chauds, pour crux qui ont la formule all inclusive soft une cafétéria est à votre disposition jusqu'à 23h pour servir des boissons chaudes (Cafés, thés) et froides (Jus et boissonsgazeuses). Les chambres sont propres et le service de ménage passe chaque jour pour faire le nettoyage. Il y'avait des animations pendant la nuit. Concernant les activités sportives on a fait aquagym dans la picine avec un coach, du basket et du lancement des flèches. Il y'a deux picines et une troisième pour les petits enfants. Pour ceux qui veulent allez a la plage il faut sortir de l'hôtel et marcher 3 min et là il y'avait une parti réservée à l'hotel Venice Beach.

I spent a perfect week here just before Xmas, seeing all the lovely Christmas photos and videos are wonderful ❤️. I wish I was there to celebrate with you all and look forward to seeing the New Year celebrations on Facebook, sadly I will be in England for New Year, but looking forward to coming back in a few months or sooner 😃👌 Inshallah 🤞 I love the Vincci Dar Midoun, such a beautiful hotel and excellent staff, friendly and good humour we reception, maintaince, everyone in the restaurant, smiling and helpful, food was so lovely 🥰. Bar waiters so friendly and welcoming and always making special cocktails and bringing drinks to our table, seats or around pool. Animation were the best I have come across, they all seemed happy in their team, and you can see why, as the animation manager Samantha was a lovely person. Special shout out to Oussama, Batman who kept us entertained with Uno, crazy darts, bowling and other crazy fun games around the pool, and trying to teach me to dance 💃. Brilliant memories. I can’t wait to return. Only downside I experienced was no toiletries in my room all week at all! I just thought it was a Djerba ‘thing’ so had to purchase in hotel shop, but when people I met at hotel were leaving the day before me, I help them with their luggage from their rooms, they had a large range of toiletries and fancy towels etc, they were same price rooms as mine, so obviously, they had a much better chambermaid then me. I informed reception, but it was the day before I left, and they said it is supposed to be refilled every day, but I never got any shampoo, soap, or anything all week. For a four star hotel these mistakes should not happen. Would I come again, yes I would love to come again soon, and also in the summertime, I hope the best waiters and the best animation people stay at this hotel as this could be very popular with the new flights from uk Thanks from Karen Tomkins
