Hotel Pantai di Doha

Stayed here for a layover in Doha with my family. Nice hotel, new and modern, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff: Samson, Khalil, and Naveen bent over backwards to be hospitable. The Breakfast buffet had plenty of great options, and we enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

الفندق مستواه جدا جدا سيء من ناحية الاستقبال والحجوزات، انا حجزت عن طريق الفندق والاستقبال ولكن عند وصولي تفاجأت ان الغرف غير جاهزة مع العلم اني وصلت الفندق الساعه ٣:٣٠ بعد الميعاد بنص ساعه، وبقيت في الانتظار مع أطفالي لحين تحضير الغرف، وكنت قد طلبت شقة من غرفتين أخبروني بأن لا يوجد شقق كما تم الحجز وقد تفاجئت انهم اجبروني ان اخذ غرفه وليس شقه كما تم الحجز أضف الي ذلك وانه وفي حين قد جاءت اختي بعدي وطلبت شقة ووجدت، لا انصح بهذا الفندق ابدا اسوء تجربة لي و اسوء استقبال وتعامل قد واجهت من بين الفندق التي قد ذهبت إليها.

Exceptional service by the entire hotel staff, awesome breakfast, gym sauna, steam room & pool area were phenomenal. I truly want to thank Tapiwa the front desk manager for going extra mile to accommodate to an upgraded room. We (4 adults and 1 teen) have just returned from a wonderful stay at Al Mirqab hotel. Pre Arrival Prior to booking I made an email enquiry about the availability of an extra bed. This was answered very quickly and put my mind at rest about the size of the rooms and ability to accommodate a third person. This was also reconfirmed directly by the hotel less than 30 minutes after making the booking via Expedia. And then, the day before our arrival I received a courtesy telephone call (Doha to UK) to check whether we had any special requests or transportation needs and to say how much the team were looking forward to our arrival. I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and never have I been called ahead of time to be welcomed. A really personal touch. Arrival Tip: If taking a taxi from the airport be sure to state clearly Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli and in particular Arumail Boutique hotel on Al Souq Street. Unfortunately, we were taken to the completely wrong hotel which also had the name Souq Waqif in the title! When we did arrive at the correct hotel the welcome was warm and our earlier stress was quickly forgotten. We were checked in at Arumail hotel with the offer of coffee and dates whilst we were waiting. (Thank you to Mr Mouhaib for the coffee and introducing us to sweet dates) Our booking was split between Arumail and Mirqab hotels but Mr Abdullah was super helpful and offered our couple in the group an upgrade at a discounted price so that we could all stay together in Al Mirqab. It was an offer too good to refuse! Once we had completed the formalities we and our luggage were whisked by buggy over to Al Mirqab. Hotel Location Excellent! All of the hotels are dotted around the souq, but we liked Al Mirqab because it was right next door to the Metro station. If you want to be close to the Corniche choose Al Jomrok. Al Jasra is slightly on the edge but no more than a 2 minute walk from the main area. Rooms Our rooms were spacious and very well appointed. Even with the additional bed in one of the rooms we still had plenty of room. The complimentary water and tea and coffee was replenished every day and the mini fridge was perfect for cooling the water overnight ready to take out with us the next day. Our room was spotlessly clean and made up every day. This was done without any disturbance or inconvenience to us. We never saw the housekeeping staff but always returned to a freshly made up room. If I had one tiny little ****** it would be about the lack of plugs; one by each bedside table would have been super helpful. That said, on the day we were leaving I found one in the wardrobe (near the safe), one ‘hiding’ behind the luggage stand and one ‘hiding’ beneath the curtains. My fault for not looking properly, lol! Wi fi was excellent. What we loved about the wi fi was that it worked in all of the hotels and we only ever had to log in once. Food Our stay included breakfast which for the first few days o

Avenue Resturant introduces delicious food for dinner buffet...it was very good experience .... thank you cooks...we enjoyed KOFTA SHAWAERMA KABAB PASTA AND JAPANESE RICE ...also the salad was great taste...the resturant was very clean...thank you all staff

The hotel is centrally located to tourist spots and the metro gold line. All of the staff were so helpful, accommodating and ready to help with a friendly smile. We felt very welcomed as soon as we checked-in and were offered a welcome coffee at the front desk. Staff members like Basit and Tara were always there to make our stay a pleasant experience. The hotel is right across the street from the Souq Waqif and it is accessible from an underground walkway in front of the hotel courtyard. The same walkway is connected to the metro gold line. The metro is very convenient as it is connected to many tourist spots throughout Doha. The front desk is operated all day and night, so it was very helpful as we had an early flight out of Doha. The check-out process was quick and efficient, and the staff helped us with transportation and luggage to the airport.

Everyone made me feel really at home in my 4 days there. Irfan and Muhaidi and the others at Front Desk listened carefully for my requests and tried to help wherever they could and provided information for me around town. Gamal introduced me to the room and also took the initiative to guide me around the neighbourhood the next day. Staff at the Lounge also made watching World Cup matches there comfortable and enjoyable, sometimes coming over to make small talk about the football and was able to attend to our every need. For location, the hotel is within 5min walk to a Metro station and amenities like restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. Room was great, but found deposits unfortunately at the kettle spout.
