Our waitress Carrolyn was impeccable and hospitable. Top banana. Definitely recommend our stay at this establishment as a result. Facilities are plentiful, beds comfortable and all for a reasonable price. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Also the Hotel is next to McDonald’s which made it easy for snacks.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Freundlicher Empfang. Wir haben ein Zimmer in der 12. Etage bekommen was wir so gerne haben wollten. Die Dame am Empfang hat alles möglich gemacht das wir in der 12. Etage das Zimmer bekommen. Wir waren richtig happy und haben uns gefreut. Der Ausblick war klasse. Immer wieder gerne das Art Hotel.❤️

We have chosen the hotel because of its location close to Rotterdam and the motorway. We had some work to do, so decided to take a Skyline Suite, so we had some space to sit and work. Regrettably the suites are made for a romantic outing. Being on the 13th floor there is no worry that somebody looks into the room. The hotel also takes an extra € 150 as bond, in case you make a mess of the room. There is a separate toilet. The bathroom area is huge. Two wash basins and lot of space, regrettably there were no glasses available. We used the carton coffee cups to drink from. A huge batch in an open area, which was not used. An open room again with 2 showers and ‘rainforest’ shower heads in the ceiling. The water pressure was not high enough to really make them work. Also no towel rails or towels provided in that room. So - unless you were prepared - you had to walk into the space with the bath in , to get towels. Only 2 towels are provided, large enough to wrap a child in… but not big enough for an adult. The quality was inferior and not nice big and fluffy for a room with so many water features. Again only 2 larger towels so if you wanted a bath and a shower, you had to use a wettish towel for the second use. No table where you could use a room service meal , nor decent chairs. No desk either, instead a make table with a big mirror. Two lounge chairs, where you can only lie in, next to the bed where you can lie in. The bed is big, but the mattress did not fit the bed! On both sides you had 15 cms space. The room has a coffee machine, with 4 coffee pods. So you’d better not be a coffee drinker. A small fridge is also present, with 2 small bottles of water, so no min bar!! For a room which costs over € 300 this can be used as a nice romantic getaway with your secret friend … but bring your own ice box, towels and coffee!!

Oké hou je vast, onder het bed lag stof van in ieder geval, 3 weken. Deurklink van de douchedeur zit los. Dus je kunt er in het ergste geval niet uit. Daar betaal je veel voor en oplossen kan niet? Ik heb vandaag bij de receptie gestaan omdat het niet redelijk is wat hier gebeurt. In 2 hotelkamers die we hadden geboekt, was stof en een spinnenweb. Wel leuk zo met halloween, maar dan wil ik wel minder voor de service betalen. Maar ik kon geen paar tientjes terugkrijgen, dat is teveel werk. Let op waar je zaken doet.. als dit niet wordt opgelost, dan komen we absoluut niet meer bij Bastion. Personeel is allemaal heel lief en wil ik niks van zeggen. Maar stof op je kamer en de deurklink die stuk is van de douchedeur, wordt afgedaan met een drankje.. als dit zaken doen is, kan ik volgens mij makkelijk concureren door af en toe een schoonmaker in te huren en weinig onderhoud te plegen. Ik heb foto's, dus ik kan het ook nog aantonen. Oh ja en er zat een vlek op een sprei en het was een witte vlek, erg gezellig allemaal.

Really nice hotel. The view is stunning. Great amenities. Nice breakfast. Very near to the metro. Trams stop in front of the hotel. Very accessible. But the check in is at 3pm. Unlike other hotels, we can check in a bit earlier. But here, we had to stay at the lobby until the check in time. Good thing, you can drop your luggage at the reception desk and stroll around the city. Overall it’s good, worth the price!

Accueil digne d'un hôtel haut de gamme. Equipe de réception très professionnelle tout comme l'ensemble du personnel de cet hôtel que je n'hésiterai pas à classer comme meilleur Ibis Styles fréquenté ces dernières années. Certes, c'est hôtel très récent mais on peut aisément constaté qu'il a été conçu avec des équipements et des matériaux de très bonnes qualités. La décoration (hall, bar, restaurant, chambres) réalisée avec goût sans oublier l'aspect confort que certains architectes oublient lors de la conception de certains hôtels. Le service est lui aussi très professionnel et courtois tant au bar, au restaurant et lors du petit déjeuner. Le restaurant (italien) propose des mets variés et qualitatifs. On ressent l'envie de satisfaire et de bien faire. Belle petite carte des vins. Merci spécial au manager Eliott. Le petit déjeuner proposé est lui aussi très varié et riche (cela change du traditionnel petit déjeuner standard et pauvre des hôtels Ibis en France). Les chambres sont bien équipées et joliment décorées. L'hôtel est situé face à la salle omnisport et concerts de Ahoy. Parking payant jouxtant l'hôtel. 5 minutes à pied de la station de métro Zuidplein qui vous permet de rejoindre la gare de Rotterdam Centraal en un peu plus de 10 minutes et l'hyper centre de Rotterdam en 5 minutes. En conclusion, même si nous avons la chance de fréquenter plutôt des hôtels premium je qualifierai l'IBIS Styles Ahoy comme un des meilleurs hôtel fréquenté depuis 25 ans dans le groupe Accor. It took over an hour to get a room from check-in. The first room didn’t have WiFi, so they sent me to another room ( they didn’t help move my luggage and I spent 25 traipsing around trying to find my rooms) - having moved room - still no WiFi and the key didn’t work. This hotel looks like a fun place to stay - but it is awful. I’ve been here an hour - apparently someone will be down to help. Can’t unpack as I expect that I’ll be moved again (and won’t get help). Have just been called and they wanted me to go to another part of the ship….where there is WiFi…I guess we’re giving up on being allowed to work in my room.
