We stayed in a service apartment. Excellent stay, comfortable rooms, close to the zoo, shops and restaurants. The Inn has multiple pools - one heated indoor and two outdoor pools. The service apartments are connected well to the Inn and its amenities. The apartment is cleaned daily and well maintained.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our two kids (7 and 10). We choose caravan parks for the kids facilities and this was a bit of a let down. Small playground, jumping pillow broken, games room pretty much non existent. Pool looked nice and splash park looked ok but was too cold to use. Our cabin was well equipped and spacious, but obviously hadn’t been cleaned well. There was so much stuff under the main bed in particular but a couple of things under the single beds too, food, pencils, ice cream wrappers etc. The beds were comfortable and the shower was a great size. Park location is great, close to zoo and the cbd and even though it’s on the main highway, noise isn’t too much of an issue. The street our cabin was in (cabin 50) was a little awkward sometimes though with people reversing caravans in and out needing to block the street to do so.

A comfortable overnight stay in town at the end of our three day visit to Dubbo to visit the Western Plains Zoo. Our refurbished twin room was well appointed and had almost everything we needed for this brief visit (tissues would be a good addition) and although on a busy road, there was no noise into the room and we had a good night’s sleep. I especially liked the great air conditioning (it was a 35+ degree day), modernised bathroom, the room decor with exposed brick walls, the two complimentary drink vouchers for the adjacent Macquarie Inn, and the 2 x complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. I subscribed to Nightcap and received a 10% discount on this first stay which brought the rate down to $162. Good value considering the rate also included breakfast (basic, but appreciated, in the Macquarie Inn).

Returning from QLD this was our stop over for the night. Motel room is perfect for a family, very affordable. Staff super friendly. Wonderful place to stay. Definitely want to return and stay longer.

Ibis motels have their niche within the budget tier of rooms. They are what they are - a smaller, more basic room without a lot of frills catering for those chasing lower cost accommodation. Ibis Dubbo fits this description. The rooms are clean and contain the essentials. What sets Ibis Dubbo apart from other motels, regardless of the price, is the staff. Mel and Wahaj could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure that my stay was fantastic. Other guests I spoke to mentioned the same thing, saying that they had, in various ways, done things to make their stay easier and more enjoyable. I noticed that they are in the process of updating and renewing the facilities and they’ve done an amazing job of giving the motel a fresh new appearance, from the kitchen and reception to the pillows and bedding. As an added bonus the bed was extremely comfortable and I had really wonderful sleep.

Room was very nice and clean, good sized and close by lots of eating options. The TV was the only issue, the Austar Box connection doesn't suit the TV and the streaming comes up much smaller than the actual TV screen size. Normal channels on the TV were fine but TV is getting very old.
