Located in the central region of Dublin and just 5 minutes away from the famous Temple Bar (street full of bars), the hostel is very attractive with its low price. The hostel is not that noisy from my experience, compared to what others have said before! Free breakfast is definitely a plus for this hostel :) However, note that they don't have an elevator, so it is not wheelchair accessible. And the lavatory/ bathroom is mixed. Besides, you should bring your own towel, shower gel and stuff. They charge for everything if you don't have them. But in general, not a bad place!

My friends and I were all amazed by this very cosy hostel, with a nice staff, good breakfast, living room, nice showers, parking lot, for a good price. The room is in a former chapel with a beautiful Window. And rumor says a jacuzzi's coming! :)

The commons area is packed full of people working, socializing or just simply relaxing. Music is not too loud so communicating and working is made easy. It's very atmospheric and it's a great place to make new friends on your travels. It's amazing decorated and their bar/dining area is incredible. Breakfast is served and you're offered a good variety to choose from. The rooms, or pods, are clean, well-maintained and the bathrooms are neat. You're afforded privacy in a modern fashion.

The location is good, the counter staff is friendly and it’s clean but, for the price you’ll pay the amenities aren’t so great. No A/C in the rooms and there isn’t a way to open the windows during pretty warm days. Only thing that I didn’t care for.

Hi, just letting you know that i have just had the police visit me during my last nights stay. Generally lovely and lovely receptionists, however tonight blew all the icing off every hostel i have ever stayed at (more than 100). So basically was talking to my new friend i met and explaining to her that generally i am lucky however with everything I buy technology is not my luck, i have the newest and it does not work each time, to include an iPhone 13, newest iPad, etc. everything else great however this. So we sorted out the contact method however decided email was the safest way forward due to the above. So I tried to do my booking in / checking in etc and look at the pictures of Guinness factory she took for me due to iPad not working for pics, and was talking to myself - not particularly loud, near the snacks and football table, then a crazy guy started waving at me, like crazy, I asked after I finished what he was doing (thought he had a mental health problem on first impression, went and asked him and he then said that I was interrupting his phone calls. I said dont think so as I wasn;'t particularly loud, and that the guy staying on the sofa (one of 2 or 3 guys the receptionists are letting sleep on the sofas for free while we are paying) was making more noise (as much as it wasn't annoying me, i was making a point that he was definitely louder). He said that I was interfering with all his calls still and said I was disruptive etc., I said if I am so disruptive to call the police, of WHICH HE DID!!!!!!!! So I was waiting about 2 hours plus of which immediately he abruptly told the guy they all let sleep on the sofas and hang out that he must go immediately, of which the guy was not leaving very quick of which the guy 'Christopher' enforced a quick exit after me making this point. He went. So 2 or so hours later, on my recording, I went to ask 'Christopher' if he could give me a crime number of which he refused of which I asked again politely, and still nothing, however he then proceeded to call the police again (this time about 45 minutes ago ish), I asked him the crime number and he said that they will be along shortly of which I think he called the police again but cannot be sure. So the police turned up 325B and 344B Darragh Connolly and Kevin Lynch. They were fairly polite however said that Christopher insisted that I wanted the police called, I asked for this to be sorted out here and now, however they suggested I sleep and go home tomorrow, and there isn't a problem, it needs to be sorted out with the hostel and the booking. To me there is a huge problem, I have health problems and came here to relax and find my roots of Irish have enjoyed it and now it is ruined forever because of this, not something I can just forget and certainly don't want this nasty low life human to get away with.......... Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Abigail’s Hostel in Dublin! The location of this hostel can’t be beat- just off of O’Connell street along the River Liffey. Many pubs, restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and public transport are in the immediate area. Additionally, the hostel felt extremely safe, with two secure doors to go through prior to making it to the dorm hallways, as well several staff members in the lobby area at all times. Our six-bed ensuite room was extremely comfortable with all six people present. Our room was clean, and we were happy to see that it was clear all linens are changed between guests. The lockers were larger than expected, and each bed had a shelf, light, and outlet. If you need additional storage there are rentable lockers, as well as a free luggage storage room in the lobby area. Beyond the room itself, the communal lounge area was bright and clean, and had a good mix of tables and couches. During our stay there was quite a mix of guests, ranging in age from teenagers to retirement age. The crowd at Abigail’s was friendly, and the staff did a great job of placing roommates in a similar age range as the others in the room. The few drawbacks that we had- there are several bus stops immediately outside of the hostel, which often led to crowds of people blocking the doorway. If your room is on the back side of the building the night time crowd in the alleyway is very loud; bring your earplugs. A small stool in the bathroom would have been wonderful! There was room to add one in our ensuite bathroom, and without it you were often left leaving your clothing on the toilet or floor when showering.

Stanza da 3 persone molto grande e confortevole e comoda, con tutti gli spazi necessari per appoggiare le cose. Il letto è il più comodo che abbia mai provato, nemmeno a casa dormo così bene! La struttura a me ha affascinato tantissimo, super curata, è bellissima! Personale gentilissimo e ottima colazione, consiglio vivamente!
