Mövenpick Hotel Lalez Durres

Прекрасный отель. Отдыхали с 19 по 30 сентября 2024 года. Не хотелось уезжать. При заезде оказалось, что номера, который мы бронировали, не было в наличии, и нам повысили категорию номера до самого наилучшего- двухкомнатного номера площадью более 50-ти метров с террасой тоже 50 метров- с шезлонгами, огромным зонтом, обеденным столом и небольшим столиком с креслами. И никакой доплаты! За это отдельное спасибо менеджменту отеля. Завтрак очень хороший. Всё есть. Яичница, омлеты, выпечка, овощи, фрукты, ветчины, колбасы, сыры, сосиски, печёные кабачки и баклажаны. Прекрасный кофе всех видов из кофе машины. До моря нужно немного прогуляться около 400-500 метров по тенистой аллее из туй- приятно идти, пахнет хвоей и нет палящего солнца. Прекрасный большой песчаный пляж с лежаками и зонтами. На ресепшен также выдают полотенца или покрывала для пляжа/бассейна. Всё бесплатно. Море с пологим входом, долго достаточно мелко, зато вода всегда тёплая, даже после дождя. Расположение примерно в 30-ти километрах от Тираны и в 30-ти километрах от Дурреса. Если хотите ездить смотреть природу/достопримесательности, нужно будет взять автомобиль напрокат. В шаговой доступности было 3 ресторана: Gambero- лучший. Еда чисто итальянская, и везде одинаковая. Одинаково вкусная. Рыба, морепродукты, мясо, паста, пицца, салаты. Вино есть домашнее. Пиво местное вкусное, хотя я и не любитель. Есть и импортное. Также ресторан работает и в самом отеле. То же, но цены подороже. Иногда не работал. Магазины. Есть 3 магазина : прямо за углом отеля (Eco), в соседнем посёлке Lura3 (ok) и «на пыльной дороге» (лучший, самый богатый выбор - есть сыры, фрукты, паштеты,недорогое вино, правда, итальянское- местных вин нигде не было замечено), можно пройти через «помоечный лес», но там тоже весьма грязно. Отель однозначно рекомендую, наверное он в этой стране один из лучших, если не самый лучший. Хорошее соотношение цена/качество.

Abbiamo avuto un problema all’arrivo con la prenotazione che non risultava in albergo.Ho dovuto chiamare il numero di assistenza italiano ma abbiamo dovuto aspettare parecchi minuti incomprensibilmente perché immagino che abbiano alla reception un planning con gli arrivi secondo le prenotazioni.Per fortuna poi abbiamo trovato una ragazza pugliese che ha sbloccato la situazione.

This hotel is everything you need near the beach! It has a very nice bar, restaurant, buffet breakfast, full on spa and parking! The staff are very kind especially Fiona she is amazing at customer service! Sometimes we get upset as they are almost all summer months sold out but once we get a room it’s nothing short of amazing. The rooms on first floor have huge balconies and amazing views!

In no way this hotel can be considered to be 5 stars. The hotel itself is quite good, rooms are nice, but service is disastrous and guest satisfaction is something that employees have never heard of. You can see waiters happily chatting to one another during dinner ignoring newly sat guests or English-speakers who need something else for their table. Restaurant bills cannot be charged to room and you will hear lengthy explanations about their past guests making problems with bills that were posted to the rooms as if it is my problem as a current guest that they failed to resolve such issues in the past. Management in the hotel is non-existent as well, if you have any issues - good luck finding someone in charge, as there is no duty manager, front office or operations manager. No one will even say sorry for causing you so much inconvenience, they don’t care. You may spot housekeeping manager at the reception desk though doing receptionist job, crazy! Taxi is a gamble, you may be lucky and reception will arrange a normal taxi for you, but they may as well simply forget about it and instead will call some random local guy with a very old vehicle who speaks zero English to drive you to your destination in a smelly hot car. Beach is dirty and mainly occupied by locals, front row sunbeds are “reserved” with towels for the entire day and no one shows up. Owners of the jetski that can be rented at the beach are also always occupying the front row with their friends and family, hotel guests are definitely not the priority. You have to collect beach towels from the hotel reception and bring them all the way back to the hotel! No towels are available by the pool or at the beach, and no place to drop them off either, enjoy 10 minute walk back to the hotel with the wet towel in your hands. Breakfast is suitable for a 3-star hotel, but not for a 5-star. No live station, cooked eggs look unappetizing and variety is very poor. Service during breakfast is also slow, plates are not collected timely and waiters only interact with those who speak their language. Spa is disgusting, everything is covered in black mold 🤢 I am very surprised that Movenpick brand allows this hotel to operate under their name.

I had an amazing stay at Movenpick Durres Lalez. The hotel is beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The private beach was a highlight—serene and perfect for relaxing away from the crowds. The calm atmosphere throughout the property made it an ideal getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat by the sea, this is the place to be.

My stay at the Movenpick Durres Hotel had its highs and lows: Staff Recommendation: Leda stood out as an exemplary staff member. Her kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism made a significant positive impact on my stay. She handled every request with a smile and efficiency, embodying the hospitality one expects from a five-star establishment. Check-in / Reception: The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the reception staff were lovely and extending a warm welcome. Sofa Bed: I had a late flight, and upon arrival, the room was missing pillows and linen for the sofa bed. Although this was swiftly rectified, it should have been set up prior to my arrival. Breakfast: The breakfast lacked variety. For a family staying two weeks, the same food day after day becomes quite boring. A five-star hotel should offer more diverse options. Towels: The quality and availability of towels were disappointing. The towels were more like thin throws, unsuitable for drying off or using at the beach or pool. Also being told towards the end of our stay that there is a limit on the number of towels we can take based on occupancy is unacceptable. In a five star hotel, guests should have ample access to fresh towels without restriction. One towel per person is insufficient for a full day at the beach or pool, especially with children. Beach Beds: The beach beds were comfortable but very dirty, with stains on many of them. This is not up to the standards of a five-star hotel. In other high-end hotels, beach beds are cleaned and washed down every evening, and the beach is maintained without debris. One of the most frustrating aspects was that every morning the onsite team would "save & chain" multiple front-view sea beds for "VIPs of the hotel," which is unacceptable. Most of these chairs remain unused for the whole day. Unless you are present at the beach, you should not be able to hold a spot for others just in case they arrive. Many guests are families who want to be able to see their children playing in front of the beach. Who classifies hotel staff as a higher priority than other paying guests? Dinner Menu: The dinner menu has not changed since last year. We stayed here last year for a few days, and the menu is exactly the same, with no changes. When staying for weeks, the repetitive food is not ideal. Hotel Room Towels and Water: We were three people in one room, and for the beginning of the stay yet we were only given two towels, and replenished water was only provided for two. If we are paying for a suite for three, then provisions should be made accordingly. Ping Pong Table: The ping pong table was a nice touch. However, there was only one ball, and it went missing. A five-star hotel should have replacements on hand and not rely on one ball for all guests. While Movenpick Durres has great aspects, including friendly and professional staff like Leda and a hassle-free check-in process, it falls short in many other areas. The property has th
