Loved staying here. Warm welcome. Understanding & helpful staff. Comfy bed. Clean inviting room. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Being next to Rushden Lakes and busy road I had my concerns of noise levels, but the windows and position of my room meant that I didn't really notice it, it wasn't intrusive and I slept really soundly. I am a very light sleeper so that's impressive for me 😀

Beautiful room very clean and I like the new look shower could have been more powerful but it was clean. It’s good the rushden lakes shopping centre is only a 5 min walk. Staff are really nice and welcoming. There was plenty of parking shame about the closed building next door but overall a great stay. Will come back again

This hotel was very convenient for catching up with family & friends over New Year. We managed to get a favourable price for our stay. The hotel ticked the boxes: a warm welcome; clean & comfortable room & a tv. We opted not to have breakfast. It is very close in proximity to Rushden Lakes shopping & leisure park. There is a handy fuel stop & convenience shop next door. We will definitely be staying here again.

The staff are not the problem! This building needs money spent on it! The noise from the wind coming through the double glazing is terrible due to bowed window frames, I measured the noise at 4.5db at night. The noise from foot steps coming from the room above were loud enough to wake us up. The hallway smelt like damp dog,

Very nice hotel, clean and quiet. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. Plenty of tea and coffee. Location is great if you go for shopping. The shopping centre Rushden Lakes is just a two minutes walk from the hotel. I would definitely visit again.

I had a relaxing stay at the Travelodge in Rushden. The service was welcoming and excellent, thanks to John, who provided valuable advice on travel options. He was very helpful. We stayed in a ground-floor room, so we could hear others walking around above us. However, aside from that, the room was comfortable, with the beds being just as cozy as always. We enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Rushden Lake shopping center, where there is a wide variety of options, including great restaurants. Grabbed a few last minute christmas gifts as well.

Outside of Travelodge ( so your 1st impression) still not great as surrounded by a derelict restaurant & a busy petrol station. Reception & rooms have had a slight refurb, bt bath in our room still had chipped enamel & our room was extremely warm & stuffy which made for a bad nights sleep, despite bed being quite comfy as window had to remain shut due to noise coming from A45. As with all Travelodges you can always hear toilets flushing in neighbouring rooms through the night, maybe extra noise insulation could be an option. On the whole the Wellingboro/Rushden Travelodge has taken a step in right direction since we stayed last year with its partial refurb ( only reason we booked again) Did think with Rushden Lakes retail park fully operational they might have upped their standards, but baby steps in right direction
