While I find it difficult to negatively rate budget hotels, as the saying "you get what you pay for" is clear with Premier Inn, I feel the negatives do require mentioning, for the benefit of both future clientele and the management themselves. Upon entering, we were quite late, however the night porter was very helpful. Unfortunately, our key card wasn't working (even though we were given an emergency key), so the night porter had to let us into our room, which was quite far from reception. The room itself was quite nice, which seems to be the marketed benefit of a Premier Inn. However, one thing that's often left abandoned is the bathrooms. This hotel didn't necessarily have a bad bathroom, however compared with what most would consider the standard, this room's bathroom was a little outdated. A shower curtain that barely worked, leaving the base of the sink flooded and only one towel per person was the main impression we received from the room. I could recommend the hotel as an overnight stay if it meets your budget or is a perfect location for your travels, however there are many better options in the nearby area at similar prices.
