Ulasan Mercure Edinburgh City - Princes Street Hotel

Lokasi yang sangat baik (untuk menyertai lawatan tempatan berdekatan) tetapi kemudahan & perkhidmatan yang adil. Ditempah pada 16 Ogos 2021. Membayar tambahan untuk sarapan pagi 3 orang tetapi memberitahu sarapan hanya tersedia pada 7:30 pagi semasa daftar masuk. Memandangkan kami perlu mengikuti lawatan tempatan & perlu bertolak sebelum jam 7:30 pagi, kami meminta untuk mengambil sarapan pagi tetapi hanya menjawab tidak boleh tetapi boleh membayar balik kepada kami untuk pembatalan sarapan pagi. Beberapa minggu berlalu, tiada bayaran balik diterima & tiada balasan diterima setakat ini. Jasa buruk sungguh.

Kemudahannya sangat-sangat lama, kayu almari pakaian dan pintu pun reput, dan lif juga sangat pelik. Walau bagaimanapun, kakitangan perkhidmatan sangat bersemangat dan responsif. Peranti perkakasan ini terlalu rosak, tidak sehebat Ibis, dan tidak layak untuk Mercure.

Good location, close to train station. The view is very nice too. Booked late for Easter, so quite expensive.

Nice hotel near with store and fast food restaurant. The front view also nice with old town view. The problem just i cant find in room phone inside my room. So its hard for me to request the amenities that i want.

Hotel a bit run down but location is excellent. Sound proof was terrible. Very good buffet breakfast.

Perfect location, super friendly staff and helpful! Mercure Princes St is the ideal location for a Christmas trip to Edinburgh as it overlooks the markets.

Cannot complain about the location, which is just on the Prince Street. However, the staff was not helpful at all. the Wi-Fi signal was really bad. No drinking water is provided. What surprised me most was that I was told that only the upgraded room can have such bottles of water. which sounds odd to me.I can say this is one of the worst hotel I have ever stayed among the other hotels in Accor group.

Terrific location. Tram from airport stops a block down. Marks and Spencer is right next door. Prince Street garden, national gallery, Sir Walter Scott monument across the street. Shopping and food places galore.

decorations are a little bit old but reception has a pretty good attitude.view from the room is amazing

The hotel was clean and new however they had limited amenities. They said I could ask for dental kit however when I asked for it, they said they don’t have it available. The toilet seems new however the shower drain was clogged. The breakfast was very good. Great location. Great view. There is no AC for my room.

Good location, near city center, convenient for commuters to visit many attractions

The location is good. It is easy to find if you exit correctly from Edinburgh Waverley train station.

After reading some of the reviews I was sceptical about staying here but to be honest it was a brilliant stay. The staff are super welcoming, we got to check in early as the room was ready, reception was fast, we ended up adding breakfast on to the room booking because the lady assured me of the available gluten free options. Location is amazing. 4 minute walk to the Dome, 10 minute walk to Victoria street, of course walking to the castle is further but not much. To see the castle from a distance you just need to walk down the road. We came for the Christmas market and it was opposite the hotel. My mum has trouble walking far and this hotel is in the perfect location to accommodate that. They also have a lift and a ramp at entrance. Yes the hotel is old (although they are doing renovations) but Edinburgh is full of beautiful old buildings so not sure what people expect the inside to be like. The room was old but very clean and smelt nice when we walked in. The bathroom was absolutely fine again very clean. Bed was comfortable. Had a great view from the window. There is a good full size mirror in the room. They had already supplied extra pillows in a zipped case. Our room was right near the stairs/lift however it isn’t as noisy as people have made out. Breakfast was nice, great views and cooked food comes from the kitchen, so it was calm. Great selection, even had gluten free cereal out on the table for all and they made me toast in the kitchen. The area was clean and cleaned fast after people left. Left the bags after checkout for the entire day and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and genuinely nice. They also didn’t ask for a review like most hotel staff do, but to honest they deserved one.
