I think it is very cool looking hotel, it did state it was renovated recently but you can’t tell it from bathrooms as radiator was leaking badly. Breakfast was nice but by the 9am mark they ran out of some items. Staff were lovely.

El hotel es maravilloso en su arquitectura, también la habitación era muy cómoda y tranquila. El personal se mostró muy atento, amable y ayudaron en todo momento. El único inconveniente fue la máquina de café que no servía y el horario del desayuno, que termina de servirse demasiado temprano: 10am.

航班晚點深夜從倫敦趕到愛丁堡，到酒店已經凌晨一點多了，reception有人值班，而且很nice！房間在入口正上方，床品很舒服，第二天早餐也很棒，但空間有限 要排排隊，有時間可以慢悠悠享受一下！

先説缺點，房間小沒空調。 然後就是優點：免費停車，1750年的城堡處處都是古典優雅，早餐非常好吃！ 四字總結：酒店值得！

My room was large and very well appointed. Bathroom was large and quite luxurious. Service was excellent and staff were very personable and attentive. Dining room was lovely and cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious. I’d happily stay at The Scott again. It’s also perfectly located for events at The University of Edinburgh.

The Scott Hotel team went out of their way to help us check in early after our sleepless night on the Caledonian Sleeper. This is a lovely hotel and we will be back to stay at it again. We gave 3/5 stars for the areas surrounding The Scott Hotel as we think more can be done with The Scholar’s bar next door, which is the option as a hotel bar for The Scott Hotel. Perhaps install more welcoming lighting as it was very brightly lit. But that’s a minor quibble about our fantastic stay.

The heating in the room was turned way too high as we arrived, it was like a sauna, apparently to compensate for the cold weather outside :) Everything else went great; friendly staff, clean hotel, delicious breakfast.

University hotels and Bistro next door. Taxi ride from the City Centre but walkable if fit - 30 mins. Charming 17th C decor in breakfast room and lounges. Arthur’sSeat is nearby in Holyrood Park and a great area for walking.

Situated within the University of Edinburgh near Holyrood. Free parking. Lovely setting and hotel. We were in Room 25 and it was very comfortable and spacious. You can dine in the adjacent Scholars Hotel but we did not try it. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is close to the Commonwealth Pool. It’s an easy 25 mins walk to Princes Street with lots to see along the way. Buses 2,4,14,30 and 33 will take you into town for £2. We will book here again as it’s such a lovely relaxed place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Scott, it's a beautiful hotel with extremely helpful and polite staff. We will stay again.

The hotel is beautifully appointed. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very clean and fitted in a contemporary style. The main areas of the hotel were beautiful and traditional to the building. The bathroom were clean, and large with fab soft towels if a little utilitarian in design compared to everything else. A great shower with lovely products to use. I'd definitely use this hotel again. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Beautiful hotel and location, it felt like calm surroundings in the university area. We explored Arthur's Seat nearby, with wonderful views on the way up. We felt a heartwarming welcome in all the interactions with the friendly staff. Great bed and breakfast!

Had such a lovely stay and will definitely book here again. Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Delicious included breakfast. Superb location!
