Well maintained (for the age) hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent service from front staff and great housekeeping.

Hello, I have stayed @ several Comfort Inn Hotels and the experience has been fairly the same. This particular weekend I stayed at the Edison location. This is now my favorite one. I was greeted by Kendra who beyond pleasant, professional and over all sweetheart. Kendra was beyond helpful and Joy to talk with daily while there. I believe she is a great asset to the company and to u need more workers such as she who will brighten customers days with that smile.. Thank you Kendra for being beyond Exceptional!! You need a raise!!!! Thank you L Grant

We stayed here for Saturday and Sunday night in November. Very convenient location tucked away about a block from the busy Rt 1. So, one can have the best of both the world, easy access to everything and at the same time very quiet location. Room is good with comfortable bed, functional bath room. But rest of them are not up to the mark. All other appliances are old, broken and most of the lights were not working. The appliances have heavy multiplugs with single connection, came off from socket and I had hard time to figure out. The corridor simply stinks with old carpet with heavy smoke smell. Even though the building is in quite place the rooms are not sound proof. From the bathroom I can hear clearly from upstairs and next room bath room activities. Unfortunately, we had a couple stayed next to our room who got up at 500AM in the Sunday morning and arguing about something with some unknown language for hours. I know it is not a management problem but they can do something about sound proofing the rooms. The management should be ashamed of advertising as a free breakfast. Breakfast is a brown bag with 2 mini creasy muffins, a nature valley bar and a water bottle may be from BJ’s or COSTCO. Despite all these, the management is flexible, friendly and try work with you. We need to change our reservation for one day which booked through third party website, they obligated it without any extra charge or fuss. Since management seems to be sincere, I’d like to give 4 stars but that would be disservice to other hotels in that area. Just bare minimum average hotel for bed and shower and nothing else.

Ia sangat luas untuk 2 orang. WiFi tidak wujud. Bilik mandi tidak bersih sepenuhnya. Saya telah tinggal di sini berkali-kali dan saya tahu hotel di AS hampir tidak terbersih tetapi kali ini saya diberi bilik dengan paip buruk. Singki terus tersumbat dan air menumpahkan bahagian belakang kepala pancuran. Juga beberapa orang di meja depan tidak tahu bagaimana cara menempah bilik untuk malam tambahan

One bad staff member left, now everyone is so calm, relaxed, accommodating, super helpful and nice. I never lose packages now. New trash and clean up man never stops working, I don't think he ever takes a break. It is really a pleasure to stay here now. Michelle and Steve are the best managers and such good people. Desiree never stops working and is now super nice. Dina, Yvonne, Elvira, Odeel, Reider, Anna, Cynthia are so hard working and super nice. If I left someone out I am sorry. It is just such a pleasure to be here now. Before I just wanted to leave asap. Even the rugs and floors are cleaner now. That's what makes a place safe, clean and happy to stay in for me, the nice people who work there.

I had a wonderful stay there for 2 week business trip. Great location near highway. The room is not big but clean and cozy. The staffs are polite and friendly. The Sherton club loung in top foot is nice, there are snacks and sandwich every 16:00-18:00 in club lounge.

DO NOT STAY HERE . This hotel is disgusting the vents in the rooms that circulate your air are not clean. They are full of dust. I have been in two different rooms here and both beds had major stains on the mattress. The staff does not seem to care about the inconvenience that their disgusting hotel presents for health and safety. When i was moving from one room to the other we passed a used plunger in the hallway. The carpets are stained, and the elevator barely works. DO not stay here!!!!! P.S. I will be reaching out to the health department.

During my recent stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Edison-South Plainfield on February 17th, I encountered a situation that significantly compromised my comfort and trust in the Marriott brand, known for its cleanliness and customer service standards. Finding a bug in my bed the following morning was not just a major inconvenience; it was a distressing experience that highlighted a serious lapse in hygiene standards, which I had never expected from a Marriott establishment. Despite promptly reporting the issue and the staff's quick action to change my room, the emotional distress and the inconvenience of relocating, which consequently made me late for an appointment, seemed to be lightly regarded by the management. The offer of a mere $20 credit towards my stay was, to say the least, disappointing and felt dismissive of the gravity of the situation. Such a response does not align with the level of guest satisfaction and service excellence I have come to associate with Marriott. I had hoped for a resolution that would genuinely acknowledge and compensate for the discomfort caused, such as comping the affected night's stay. This would have demonstrated a true commitment to guest satisfaction and potentially restored my faith in Marriott as my choice for future lodging. The manner in which this incident was handled raises concerns not only for my own experience but for future guests as well. I urge the management to revisit their approach to such matters and to adhere more closely to the high standards Marriott is known for. The importance of immediate and appropriate action to address and prevent such incidents cannot be overstated. I share this review in the hope that it will prompt a reconsideration of my case and lead to measures that ensure a cleaner, more guest-focused experience moving forward. Marriott has always been a preferred choice for many because of its reputation, and it's crucial that such standards are upheld consistently across all properties. Great service and wonderful people

I wanted to give them an excellent review but I can't. We were on the third floor next to and across from a room full of rowdy teenagers. They were in and out of their room constantly while playing loud music. This went on for an hour before we called downstairs. After having to call several more times, someone finally came up and they turned the music down. That didn't stop them from running the hall and slamming doors well after 12am. After calling and requesting a room change, we were told that we couldn't because they were sold out. I understand they were sold out but after calling front desk 4-5 times another step should've been taken. Come to find out, they had gotten several calls about them and didn't take proper actions. Ruined our whole night not being able to sleep. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean, staff were great and the location was excellent.
