It was pretty good, had a stressed employee late at night that was pretty abrasive and made comments under his breath over some guests checking in and some snacks… otherwise the staff were very helpful and courteous

Saya membuat prabayar dan menempah hotel untuk 2 malam. Saya tidak mendaftar masuk pada malam pertama tempahan saya. Apabila saya cuba mendaftar masuk pada hari ke-2 tempahan saya, saya diberitahu bahawa tempahan saya telah dibatalkan walaupun saya telah membayar untuk 2 malam. Penolong pengurus hotel meminta untuk melihat kad yang saya gunakan untuk tempahan dan mengenakan saya $74 lagi untuk bilik yang telah saya bayar. I am writing out of complete frustration. I reserved a room at the Marriott in El Paso on 1600 Airway Blvd. I left my room for breakfast and came back to my bed *****ped and all my personal items removed and some of them in the maids trash bin. This is ridiculous when I never checked out at the front desk nor was it even close to the check out time of 1pm. This was very inconvenient. There is no manager on staff. I had to sit in the lobby while they track down the maid who cleared out my room and embarrassing to have the made hand me my intimate items out of her trash can on her cart. I paid $159 for this? Absolutely, policy needs to change here. The maid said if she doesn't see a bunch of clothes in the room then they just start cleaning. It is 9am. Why are the maids not only cleaning rooms that people have confirmed they are checking out? Maids should not be going into rooms at 9am and just start cleaning them with no knowledge if paid guest will be returning. Very unsatisfied and embarrassed. I will be calling the manager Monday when she returns.

Upon arrival we were not greeted or recognized as a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member. Maria - front desk attendant - never smiled or thanked us for choosing Marrriott. I offered my ID and CC and she didn’t thank me. She never made eye contact and just handed my ID and CC back to me. She didn’t offer us water bottles which I found out the next morning from the breakfast attendant and Emily, the morning front desk attendant, we should have received. We walked by the front desk at least 6 times while Maria was on duty - she never acknowledged us much less smiled at us. Terrible customer service. (NOTE: A week earlier we stayed at the Fairfield Inn Las Cruces and our experience was completely different. We were warmly greeted by Jason, thanked for staying at the property and for being loyal Bonvoy members and provided complimentary water. Additionally, every time we walked by the front desk in the Las Cruces property the attendant smiled, acknowledged us and asked if we needed anything.) When we arrived in our room at the Fairfield ElPaso there was a smell like dirty sneakers or socks. The toilet seat was broken but I give Marcelino, the maintenance attendant, a big thumbs up for quickly repairing. But the final straw was the $10 per night parking charge - what a rip off! My fault for not seeing this in the FINE PRINT when I made our reservation, but still. We have stayed at the Courtyard nearby previously and I checked and they still don’t charge for parking and neither do any of the other Marriott properties nearby including the TownePlace Suites right next door to the Fairfield. Bottom line - DO NOT STAY HERE… unless you like paying $10 for parking in a standard hotel parking lot and like feeling unwelcome.
