I booked this hotel for 3 nights. When I walked in this hotel, it was quite dark at the lobby. The service provided by the reception was acceptable but I would rate it 2 out of 5. I got to change my room twice. The first room I got was extremely dirty, the air-conditioning was extremely dusty, got hairy stuff on the bedsheets and pillowcases, and the room is quite smelly. So I went down to the reception requested for a room change. The staff at the reception was unhelpful and didn’t trust me that the room’s dirty, and she was quite unwilling to change the room for me. And one of the staff members went up to the room and checked if what I said was true about the dirtiness of the room. Finally, I got my room changed, but when I walked into the second room, the air-conditioning was again super dusty, they even use the small chair in the room to cover up the nasty hole on the wall. There were hairs all over the wall in the toilet, and overall the building was old and obviously didn’t do any maintenance at all. Lastly, I went down to the reception asking for a refund, but the staff wasn’t willing to help me at all, so I decided to leave the hotel and booked another hotel without getting any refunds. Looking back in hindsight, I won’t book this hotel and will add another 50-60 gbp per night for a way better hotel experience.
