Hotel Lungarno Vespucci 50

非常驚喜的酒店！位置絕佳，緊鄰美國住翡冷翠領事館以及河邊。酒店在一個別墅的出租部分。房間不多，但都很大，房頂很高還有壁畫，如同在古堡裏。服務人員都很友善以及有答必應。早餐房間也非常有文化氣息，食物都是單點，現點現做，味道很好，服務員也都十分友好。還可以停車，但要付款每天30歐元停車費，酒店人員幫助停到附近停車場。這是我們在這次意大利之行最舒服的酒店。

We had booked one of the few river terrace rooms for 3 nights and this is what we got. The first thing to note about the hotel is that it’s around 1.5km from the centre of town so we ended up walking a distance every day. One day doing the to/from walk 5 times so that’s 7.km, just bear it in mind. Anyway, had we known, the tram stop Porta Al Prato-Leopolda is just around the corner, so that’s an easy option from the station but not the historic centre. There are always taxis, which are not cheap in Florence, just like most cities. The river terrace room had a beautiful view enhanced by the fact that with the USA Consulate being along the road, it’s blocked off, with not as much traffic as there would be otherwise. Strange that the tarmac is pristine, so that made it even quieter. This did cause a few problems with over-zealous police telling us “You can’t walk there” (ie, the pavement). Adjacent to our terrace was the rooftop bar, which fortunately was only open 1 night, otherwise it may have been noisy. The room itself was pretty basic with a cramped shower but there was an espresso machine and free mineral water. The main feature of the hotel is the building itself, which is basically a small palace with a grand staircase. The breakfast room, in particular, stands out with glorious roof frescos and a view of the river. The staff were also very friendly and approachable. PS: The Gamberini cake shop/bistro around the corner is worth a visit.

We loved this hotel and the location. Unfortunately we did not use the breakfast or lounge area but would have if we were there a little longer! Rooms are nicely decorated - bed was a bit hard but typical. It’s a lovely boutique hotel with exceptional staff.

Agree with previous review regarding distance from main sights but the bonus was far less crowded & the sights were only a twenty minute or so walk away. Room was fine & very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly & courteous. Drinks offered when we arrived & if we were sitting in the outside garden , which was a very pleasant area, in which to relax. We felt like nothing was too much trouble for them.

Well... the hotel was about 2 miles from the sights. Too far to walk. River low, mosquitoes everywhere especially in our room. No room service, no desk to do my makeup. Place was old and shabby, and the bed was like sleeping on the floor. So although the balcony was lovely, we couldn't enjoy it.

Excellent location on the river, clean facility and responsive staff. I did not like having to ask housekeeping to clean the room (upon request). It is best to stay on the highest floor because you can certain hear guest walking if you are a light sleeper. Nonethless, this was my favorite hotel from my stay in Italy.

We had a great stay at Lungarno Vespucci 50. The hotel is one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in and we loved sitting on the rooftop terrace looking out on to the river. The hotel was just a short, scenic walk from the centre of town and was in a very quiet, peaceful location. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
