It is very good option to stay in Florence. Even though I stayed in a room with 8 beds, it was very comfortable. Clean, very nice, recommended. The location and cleanliness are very good. I can say that I wish I had stayed here for both nights.

Have been travelling around Europe and stayed in around 11 hostels now and this was easily the worst. Stayed in a 4 person dorm. The hospitality from the staff left much to be desired. The bathroom door in the SHARED dorm did not lock which is surely a basic necessity. Basic levels of cleanliness are not maintained in this hostel. The supposedly clean room had smeared bogeys in the bed, hairs everywhere, dust, suspicious sticky stains, stained sheets with holes in them, a blocked shower drain and a dirty shower, a toilet that didn’t flush properly and an odd smell throughout. The building also has no soundproofing whatsoever I could hear the person in the next room breathing. We were also unfortunately staying during karaoke night and could very clearly hear all the words to ‘Do they know it’s Christmas’ in September whilst trying to sleep (with earplugs in). Absolutely would never come back.

I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

I had problems trying to find a hotel in Florence at short notice and ended up booking a room at this hotel. First I should explain that this hotel is on the second and third floor of a building. I was given a room by the stairs, which by the way are made of wood I think, so the noise of people going up and down was terrible. There is a lift, but it will only take you from the ground floor to the reception, so if you have a suitcase and you are given a room on the third floor, you have to drag it up the stairs, near to where my room was. My room was big enough, with 2 single beds, and a bathroom almost the same side of the room, painted in red! and very dark, even with the light on. The room and bathroom were clean and my linen and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meat, etc. Unfortunately the reception area was dirty. There are 2 or 3 settees with a material cover, which has not been washed for some time. The location of this hotel is excellent. 15 mns to the Duomo and 30 mns to the Ponte Vecchio. The guys at the reception were very helpful, polite and one of them, on the night shift, (regrettably I did not ask his name) never stopped smiling. Great service. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes but make sure you are giving a room away from the stairs.

I regret to say that our recent stay at Camplus Guest Firenze in Florence was a complete disappointment, and I feel compelled to share our experience to warn others not to stay here. To start with the positives, the room size was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The modern decor was also appealing, and the cleaning standards were satisfactory. However, the negatives far outweighed any positives. Firstly, despite being upgraded, our room on the messanie 1A floor suffered from appalling noise pollution from the common area as there was no wall separating our room from the common area. As the building primarily caters to students, the noise levels were unacceptable, disrupting our sleep and causing discomfort throughout our stay. The students should feel free to make noise in their common area, I just don’t know our superior double room (we even bought an upgraded room) was placed there for paying hotel guests when this is clearly an issue. The most alarming issue was the shared balcony, which posed a serious security risk. On the second night, we were awakened by loud music and discovered a group of people smoking and partying directly outside our room on our own portion of the balcony. This invasion of privacy and lack of security left us feeling unsafe and vulnerable. Despite raising the issue, and the situation was not properly addressed and upon checkout the staff member tried to make it out that the group were on another area of the balcony, which I was upset about as I looked out the window and I saw with my own eyes the group directly outside our room on our balcony. They also asked why we didn’t tell them to go away ourselves but as not speaking good Italian at all, we felt unsafe approaching a group whose language we don’t speak. Furthermore, the breakfast experience was uncomfortable, as we felt out of place among the other students. Overall, our stay was marred by feelings of insecurity, discomfort, and sleep disturbance. Despite paying a significant amount for our stay, the service and amenities did not meet our expectations. Moreover, management's lack of response to our official complaint email is concerning. Despite offering a mere 50% discount on our next stay within the year, which we declined as we do not plan to return to Florence within that timeframe, they have refused to offer any compensation for our current stay. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at camplus guest firenze in Florence. Our experience was unacceptable, and the lack of proper response from management only adds to our disappointment. Please reconsider before booking your stay here.

這是個loft，一個沙發床，一個雙人床一個單人床，在攜程訂完以後發現是最多可住2人，我們一家三口入住的時候，前台讓我們每晚補30歐元，可以接受，畢竟寫的住2人。酒店在一個大門裡麪，算是鬧中取靜，離火車站很近，走路三四分鍾，門口就有中國超市和中餐館，衹是有一個bug，我住在216房間，不確定是隔壁還是二樓房間的樓梯一走人，振動和聲音巨響！真的這是建造問題！真的會驚醒。前台服務蠻好的。

So first off, this hotel is very well located - right between the Santa Maria Dome and Academia Galleria with the famous statue of David. Staying in the historic district is a big plus and avoids commuting back and forth from other places, saving a lot of time. The hotel is about an 18 min walk from the main train station Firenze Santa Maria Novella. It had been raining the night we arrived, so was not an extremely pleasant walk. It will be raining when we leave, and plan to get a cab. Lots of cobblestones, so make sure your wheeled suitcases can take the abuse! There is a direct tram right outside the airport that brings you to the above mentioned train station. Don’t waste money on cabs because this is quite frequent and convenient. The hotel itself - I base this experience on a few things. We are a family of four, and the first night we were given a room after walking through a labyrinth of passages - made it very difficult to find. The rooms are non-standard - for example, this one had four single beds. It had mosquitoes as other travellers have mentioned, but that is probably because folks couldn’t figure out how to make the air conditioner work, and opened the windows and balcony door. We did this too, until we figured out the a/C system. Tip - when they show you your room, ask them to turn on the a/c. The rooms do not have a line to call the front desk, so was a bit of a hassle finding the way in the middle of the night. Until we figured the exit signs. We also found there was no standing shower or a place to put your things. There was a shower head in the tub, needless to say there was a pool on the floor by the time the four of us finished showering. Next morning, we poured our complaints to the front desk. They immediately obliged and moved us to a much nicer room with a double bed and two single beds, a proper standing shower with a glass enclosure, and right next to the front desk. This was a MUCH nicer room and made our experience worthwhile. The staff is extremely friendly, gave us fresh made coffee when we missed breakfast, opened up our wine bottles and gave us glasses when we asked, booked taxis when we needed, gave us guidance to nearby attractions and very helpful in general. The key is that the hotel is non-standard. So expect to find some oddities - if you are not happy with your room, ask for another that might better meet your needs. I happily recommend this hotel to others thinking about it.
