Ulasan Holiday Inn Express Folkestone - Channel Tunnel

This is the 4th time I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Folkestone, but the cost of this booking was hugely more than I've had to pay before. The hotel is fine, and the buffet breakfast is excellent, opening at 6am, allowing an early start on Le Shuttle.

The hotel was very neat and tidy

A every year stop before the cross over to Belgium. Will stay no where else. Convenient location as its minutes away fro the Le shuttle crossing. Always neat and clean. Rooms are well aired and fresh. Water pressure does need looking at. Staff are always well present and friendly. Breakfast is a must in the morning and here it is served hot and plenty. A very well costed stay. Thank you

A great transit hotel. Reception staff were great welcoming and made check in straight forward. We were late so needed to order a delivery. hey allowed us to use the restaurant facilities. Absolutely trouble free. Breakfast was great, traditional buffet but good quality.

This was a convenient stay. The breakfast was good. The location was great for getting onto Le shuttle. We would use this hotel again in the future if we’re travelling to or from France. The kids stayed on a sofa bed and they seemed fine on this.

Good location and a good night sleep. Stayed the night before we used the tunnel, bed was comfy and the breakfast was good value. Only negative is the shower pressure was very low and the pillows were not the best. We would happily stay again though as it is very close to the tunnel and price was decent.

5 mins drive from the Channel Tunnel entrance so perfect for us - parked just a few steps from the entrance, check in was ultra efficient, room clean, bathroom was great and tea and coffee available. Bed comfy and very quiet. The bar area is ok, not especially comfy but functional. Dinner - basic grub - we both had steak and ale pie - it was a well cooked shop bought pie with mash peas and loads of tasty gravy - sticky toffee pud came next. Breakfast (from 6am) is good - eggs bacon, sausage, tomatoes, hash brown, cereal, toast, jams etc. Reasonable prices and perfectly adequate. We would stay again.

Excellent efficient staff, swift check in process and check out too. Room well appointed with everything we could want including tea and coffee. It’s an excellent night before your Chunnel hotel. In addition the restaurant and bar were run well and the food basic but well cooked and tasty. Would use again without hesitation.

Superb hotel, the room was exceptionally clean and the shower fantastic, much needed after a long drive. On check in the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and really efficient and the staff work hard to keep replenishing items and again are friendly. A great nights stay, really pleased with this hotel and would stay again.

We stayed here for the night a few weeks ago to allow us to be on an early le shuttle train for our family holiday to Disneyland Paris. We found the hotel to be clean and perfect for what it was needed for. Breakfast was good albeit food a little cold. Staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. They had helped ensure we had adjoining rooms prior to our arrival. Would 100% stay here again and recommend.

The hotel is welll located near the tunnel the staff are very helpful particularly the chap on reception who is Hungarian I think more than nice thr rooms are very comfortable we ate in the hotel and the food was nice we both had starters and mains and the food was nice quality we had travelled a long journey and the staff made us welcome if you need a hotel between channel crossings I can recommend this hotel. Would stay again
