To be fair the hotel was pretty good. The outside was not appealing to the eye but the room itself was very nice: facilities get a 5. Made reservations for one night about two weeks before my arrival. I had to push my reservation back by one day to accomodate my appointment so I canceled the reservation on expedia and made a new reservation ( 4 days before my arrival). I stayed at the hotel honoring my new reservation. I was charged for both my canceled reservation and my actual reervation. When I called they told me that they did not receive a canceled reservation from me until the day of my stay (which is false because I canceled before this date and received coonfirmation) they refused to refund me and told me to call expedia. I called expedia and they sent the refund to the hotel and the hotel refused to refund the money to me citing that they will honor their policy for same day cancellation ( which again was completed 4 days prior to my arrival) I offered to send my cancellation confirmation to them and they still refused my refund so they made double the amount of money from me (charging my card for the night I did not stay and the refund issued by expedia) very shade business between America's Best Value and Expedia.

We stayed one night. When checking in, the front desk person could not find my rate and tried to tell me if was a higher rate. This should have been my first clue as to the type of hotel it is. Going into the room, it was medium clean, but we were only staying one night and less than 12 hours so we thought we could survive. It wasn't until the next morning that we saw there was no soap for a shower, which would have been ok as I had some with me, but the water pressure was terrible, and this was at 6 am. We passed on a shower, packed our bags and went to breakfast. I told the front desk clerk and she made a production about writing down the room number and they would check out the water pressure. I also mentioned that there was no soap. She said that we could have requested another room, but they did know there wasn't enough soap available because the order didn't come in. (hello, you're by a large city; aren't there any supercenters around?) Then we ate breakfast, not a very good one, and no juice available in the machine -- what's wrong with buying plastic containers and putting the juice in a small dispenser? When we sat down, the table next to us was laughing at what I'd said to the desk clerk. They had so little water pressure that it took 20 minutes to wash out the soap in their hair! As we talked to them, they had the same complaints we did. We finished packing the car and checked out. I asked for a receipt and we had a charge for a wall safe that we never used. I asked for it to be taken off and she did so reluctantly. I will check my credit card bill to make sure this happened. All in all, I would never stay there again. I called corporate and complained, and I just received an email (not very professionally written and full of misspellings and grammar mistakes) stating that I received a discounted rate and they were not going to discount the room any more. I think I've convinced my husband that the cheapest hotel is not necessarily the way to go. Remember, you get what you pay for.

We stayed here this past weekend and enjoyed our stay! The staff was excellent, pleasant and very helpful. The lobby was clean and rooms were clean and spacious but my bathroom had some water damage by the shower head and near the base molding by the door. There were blue ripped tarp pieces all over the grounds which obviously came from the roof area due to the hurricane damage. Additionally, many soffits and fascia pieces missing from the roof area. Hopefully, these repairs can be addressed soon. The pool area definitely needed attention too as there were ****s in the pavers which needed to be cleaned up and the pool needed to be skimmed. Breakfast was good, friendly staff and helpful too! Overall, would go back but not a first choice.

We visited Fort Myers for a wedding in downtown (first timers in America from Wales, UK) and we stayed for 4 nights. The location is ideal for the price very close to everything but very reasonable prices. The hotel is a little tired but it is clean and has a lovely pool, breakfast was also super good value at 9.95 dollars, for a hot buffet. What made the hotel a great choice for us was the lovely welcoming and helpful team... I only wish I could remember everyone's name! The lovely gentleman who we first met on arrival and saw most days (Scottish/American) was super helpful and knowledgeable of the area, and his colleague (night porter) was great too, a young man (I think Duty Manager for the first 2 days) was super efficient, friendly and gave us advice on how to get around the local area, the lady with the lovely smile, glasses and brown/dark red shoulder length hair on reception was so welcoming and Debbie from breakfast really was fantastic an asset to the team, so many other staff too made our stay, who all gave a welcoming smile and hello. Other reviews say unsavory characters around the hotel etc at night, I personally wouldn't wander anywhere at night in a foreign country/town to my home, yes there were some vulnerable people on the streets at night (like most of the world), you could be in the 'poshest hotel in the world' and still be at risk, I certainly didn't feel unsafe in the hotel. This is a good value, friendly hotel. Thanks again everyone. Until next time x

Hotel in Flughafennähe, Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Hotel hat die besten Jahre hinter sich. Abgewohnt und vor allem sehr hellhörig. Fernseher hat nicht funktioniert, aus dem Wasserhahn kam nur ein Rinnsal.
