The Fat Mulberry Guest Farm

The owner and staff are amazing - which match the farm and the views it brought us every evening. We were there with a group, and all of our group loved the place. Most will return I'm sure. The giant lawn chess set was a nice treat! Very peaceful and the staff accommodated all our requests.

From the moment we arrived we where well taken care of by Margie. The past course was awesome and something we will share with friends back in Gauteng. The Hot Tub views and marshmallow smores was a hit

Host was very cooperative and gave us every single thing we asked. Last nomemtwe requested to accomodate our dog and that was also fulfilled. Happy for our choice and we will definitely recommend this place to the people who want to relax and see the good scenary around the house. Value for money.

Prior to our visit I was communicated with helpful information. On arrival we were welcomed warmly. The unit we stayed in was set in beautiful scenery. The unit itself was average. It was myself, my husband and my 3 dogs. The garden was quite small for a pet friendly unit. On our first night we had a really terrible night. We hardly slept. We found many frogs in our unit. I did call the Lady who was the main contact onsite. She had said that no one is able to help us and that we would have to wait till morning. She calmly told us to just remove them from the unit. Much easier said than done! I was terrified as frogs are poisonous to dogs. My husband was also really scared of them and made his stay really uncomfortable. It was a nightmare to try and remove them and keep 3 dogs away. We had to move furniture around and turn the place upside down. I really felt that the farm should have had someone on call to assist with emergencies etc. Many people are just scared of Frogs and not everyone wants to spend the night with them! We booked for 3 nights and only stayed 2. I would not recommend this place for people with dogs even though it is pet friendly. You may spend much of your vacation stressing about their health. I would not recommend this place for anyone who is just scared of frogs! Money wasted for us!

The Fat Mulberry is a definite reccommend! From the beautiful rooms with all the little things that matter, to the gorgeous view. Margie an awesome hostess and Sarah efficient with bookings. Thank you so much!
