Hotel berhampiran Lapangan Terbang Cataratas, Foz do Iguacu

The hotel is conveniently situated near the airport and the falls. Parking is free and there is plenty of parking spaces. Those with kids would be delighted with the pool, water slide and playground. We like the spacious hotel restaurant, which serves a hearty breakfast with a variety of cold cuts, warm dishes, breads, cakes, muesli and fruits. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is also good. The souvenir shop in the hotel is a gem, as the prices there are lower than other places (especially the official souvenir shops at the attractions). Our room is clean, quiet and comfortable, and wifi is ok (not too fast but sufficient for emails & social media). One advice: please bring mosquito repellent.

The hotel is very close to the airport, 5mins taxi or bus, which you can get outside the airport. The hotel is 10mins walking distance to Iguaçu Waterfalls, a scenic walk on the main road. Hotel is clean, simple and the staff are great. They have an automated massage chair that’s cheap and very good. The breakfast was the best thing about the hotel, so many options and the cakes at breakfast were yum! Saw a lizard near me when in the pool, and had a couple of roaches in the room which I dealt with, but both expected due to the weather and being so close to the forest area. Overall, fantastic experience in Iguacu!

Comida excelente, instalaciones nuevas y bien equipadas, atención en servicio muy bueno pero se debe mejorar en el control de consumo de los huéspedes ya que al momento del Check-out incluyeron servicios que no consumí y se tuvo que cambiar el recibo.

Hotel bem localizado, ótima estrutura na piscina, recepção atenciosa. Restaurante bom, com café da manhã bem completo! Ficamos em um quarto mais antigo, que merece um pouco mais de atenção na manutenção!

This is not really a hotel. It is a cluster of chalets built on what still is partially a farm. I chose to stay here because it looked quirky. Rustic may be a better description. The chalets are spacious with 2 rooms and a separate bathroom. There is a bunkbed in the main room for kids and the bedroom has a large comfortable bed. There is a kitchenette as part of the main room but there is no microwave. There is a toaster oven and a one burner stove, plus a fridge and a sink. Everything is concrete, adding an industrial feel but not in a modern way. There are big warehouse type light switches and power points attached to electric tubing connected to the walls. The bedside lights can be moved by clamps. The ceilings are high and there is functioning air-conditioning in both rooms. The bathroom is sizable with a large walk-in shower which has a glass exterior wall with plants outside and a privacy screen. There is a blind that can be lowered but is unnecessary and ours was also mouldy. The water pressure was satisfactory but certainly not as gushing as the nearby Iguassu Falls. There isn’t a hair dryer. The eco-toilet, which we have not encountered before but is apparently more common, requested that used toilet paper be placed in the bin beside the toilet rather than flushed. There was an attached hose for personal cleansing as well. The eco part of this establishment also meant the room was not cleaned during our 3-night stay. Breakfast is included and it wasn’t bad. There was no hot food available when we were there but it seemed that during a busier season, there may be. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The benefit of the location depends on what you’re wanting to do. It neighbours the Movie Cars Wonder Park and a water park and is a 400-metre walk from the Bird Park. It is only a kilometre away from the Brazilian side of Iguassu Falls. It is only an 8-minute drive from the Brazilian airport. However, there is no food close by and the main town is 30 minutes away. It is also not easy to find and any taxi driver would have to look up the location on Google. We paid $US180 for our 3 nights. I get the impression many hotels in Foz de Iguazu are not overly glamourous, beside the luxury resorts. The Pousada Guata Pora isn’t a bad option, depending on what experience you’re after. It’s basic but comfortable and served our purpose reasonably well. Check out my other reviews of places, hotels and experiences throughout South America.

Quarto bem confortável, chuveiro maravilhoso. Todas as instalações funcionando perfeitamente, incluindo o secador de cabelo. Hotel com ambiente familiar, silencioso principalmente a noite. Estacionamento gratuito. Parabéns em especial para os colaboradores da limpeza, fizeram um ótimo trabalho todos os dias. Café da manhã e jantar razoávell. No festival de risotos e caldos os risotos estavam com excesso de sal. Embora alto, os preços do jantar não eram excessivamente caros. Os recepcionistas pouco simpáticos. Pontos negativos: Wi-Fi aberto, sem senha, o que dá insegurança ao utilizar e a localização do hotel fica um pouco distante do centro e pontos turísticos. Achamos interessante a lojinha da honestidade, com variedade de coisas úteis e preços acessíveis.

Hotel maravilhoso! A comida foi o que mais nos surpreendeu, desde o café da manhã até a janta tudo estava muito bom!

Hotel simplesmente incrível. Todo reformado. Instalações impecáveis. Restaurantes. Piano bar. Tudo perfeito. Tranquilidade e qualidade no limite máximo. Funcionários altamente especializados e atenciosos que fazem a diferença. Vamos muito a Foz e, com certeza, voltaremos ao Sanma. Parabéns a todos do hotel.

Hotel excelente pelo valor pago. Localização ótima. Atendimento espetacular, quarto ótimo, cama muito confortável, chuveiro e ar condicionado excelentes. Café da manhã podiam melhorar, mas pelo valor pago está de bom tamanho, tem o básico necessário, frutas, sucos, pães, ovos, doces razoáveis. Podiam colocar opções como tapioca ou omeletes feitas na hora, a estrutura do hotel comporta essas melhorias. Mas no geral, voltaria a me hospedar com certeza.
