Compare with the other hotels we stayed while in Germany it was a really small room, but clean, and comfy bed. It is quite far from the city center, and you have to pay extra for the car park. Doesn't have a restaurant, but offers breakfast, but we felt it over priced, so we had breakfast in the town. Have air con in the room. Great hotel if you just want to sleep after a long, busy day. Cheaper than any other hotels we stayed in south Germany.

A very unique hotel in Arbon. The room was spotlessly clean and of a good size. Bed was comfortable but the duvets were very heavy for summer. No air conditioning in bedrooms so was warm. A fan was provided but it was noisy and had a bright blue light when in use which I found disruptive to sleep. On arrival there were no staff to greet you which was strange and you only spoke to someone through an intercom to gain access. It felt odd! We met the owners at breakfast for the first time in the morning and they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

This is a very nice hotel at the far end of the main street in the lower part of Meersburg. It sits at the base of a very steep hill which one walks up to get to the upper part of the town and the castle and such so very convenient for that. Had a side-facing room (lovely view of the castle) but which unfortunately had people walking right by at almost eye level. Hotel was fully booked so we couldn't change rooms but I would request a room on a higher floor when you reserve. Room itself was very basic yet had all the necessities. Very clean. Breakfast was very good and extensive with good options of sweet and savory. The piece de resistance of this hotel is their terrace which is huge and truly beautiful...trees and vines overhead, lovely lighting and sits right on the lake. Exceptionally clean and tidy! Perfect place for a beer after getting off of our bikes and for dinner (which was very good). Good wine selection and our waiter even let me try a few before choosing one. Bikers take note - I had told the hotel we were coming with bikes and asked about storage. They had not replied. Turns out storage is down the street (other end of the main street) at a bike garage for which we were charged ten euros per day/per bike. Not thrilled about that. Otherwise, your choice is to leave your bikes outside overnight...there are racks right in front of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel just of the Lake Constance on the Lindau island. The location is perfect. Although the hotel is just of the promenade, across the harbour where you can catch all the ferries, it was quiet inside. We had a room for 3. Room was spacious and had a little hall which you could close off to provide extra sound insulation for a restful sleep. The air conditioning worked well. Unfortunately the room had a bit of a smell which luckily disappeared with the AC on. I am not sure whether we would manage without the AC. I think we would have to ask for a different room as the smell was way too strong. Room decor a bit old fashioned but room appeared clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. The breakfast staff differed a bit daily with some being more experienced. This however did not spoil our breakfast experience. We used the outdoor pool in the late afternoon hours. It was clean and surprisingly big enough with 1.5m depth everywhere. Enough sun-loungers and relaxing atmosphere by the pool. The reception staff was excellent and helped us a lot with our questions.

From the very first moment of our arrival at this hotel, our expectations were exceeded. The person checking us in simply could not possibly do more than he did to make us welcome. So friendly and helpful. That was just the beginning, however, because the restaurant manager and the young lady who served us were also amazing. We were pleased to meet the Director, Filip, next day and he too was great. He said that if there was anything he could do to help, we needed only to ask. As it turned out, we needed that help when we arrived at our NEXT hotel in Luzern. Filip was as good as his word, and gave us some advice that helped us enormously and saved our holiday from being ruined. All in all: wonderful people, beautiful place with superb decor. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. 110%.

Infelizmente o hotel , apesar de suas qualidades como limpeza,instalações,café da manhã bom e localização. O serviço é ruim : não limparam nosso quarto em uma das estadias e quando fomos solicitar ( não há telefone no quarto) , o recepcionista foi extremamente rude . Além disso, um atendente é responsável por toda a fila do check in e bar, ou seja , demora mais de 1 hr para o fazer ou solicitar algo . O hotel é novinho,mas o ar condicionado do nosso quarto também não funcionava.

The hotel is relatively near the Olma Messe (about 10 minutes on foot). This also means it is not near the centre of St Gallen. When I arrived, the staff was pretty unfriendly, telling me they were waiting on me to close, even though I arrived more then 1 hour before closing time of the reception... Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean. There is a train line juste next to the hotel. With a room on the 4th floor and a closed window, I was not bothered by it during my sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. All in all, this is a nice place to stay if you want to access the Messe easily.

I booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lustenau, Austria, with the understanding that it was a pet-friendly property. As a responsible pet owner, I made sure to travel with my well-behaved small to medium sized dog. Upon checking in, however, I was taken aback by an unexpected and exorbitant charge of 25€ tagged for my pet. Not only did I perceive this as excessive, but this fee was not transparently communicated during the booking process. The hotel's advertising and website did not mention this additional cost. Furthermore, considering that we found no extra amenities provided for pets to justify such a substantial fee, the charge seemed especially unwarranted and unjust. While the rest of the hotel facilities and services were satisfactory, this unforeseen expense greatly affected our overall experience. The lack of transparency about this charge lessened our trust in the services provided by Holiday Inn Express, Lustenau, strongly influencing our consideration for future stays. We understand and appreciate that hotels may charge for additional services or requirements attendant to hosting pets. But transparency during the booking process about such charges is fundamental to maintaining consumer trust. We were disappointed by this oversight and would recommend that future guests with pets inquire about all possible expenses in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises at check-in the reception was friendly and of course it was not her fault .

We spent two nights here recently and fell in love with this property. We chose it because it is just a 30-minute drive to Vaduz, Liechtenstein, which we were in the area to explore. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a balcony and a view. This was the biggest hotel balcony I've ever seen! It was a beautiful room. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and found the food to be delicious. The portions were large enough that my husband and I wished that we had ordered one entree to share. The staff was friendly and helpful. We walked all around the property to see the spa, pool, meeting area, sauna and more. The bathroom in our room was huge and the shower was terrific after a long day out. It was just a beautiful property, and we would gladly stay here again any time. It was a peaceful two-night stay. Thank you.

Excellent friendly staff that are polite and very helpful. Any questions I had were answered quickly and comprehensively. The self-service breakfast gives you a good selection to start your day. There is a restaurant also on site, but I didn't use it. The bar was good with the barman able to knock up a multitude of cocktails, from what I witnessed. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and perfect for me. There was a small fridge also where you could store some food and drink. There is car parking available for a fee, I'd advise informing them when you book, but it is a reasonable charge, in my opinion. There are also garages that can be booked, I only became aware of this on arrival and seeing cycle tourists storing their bicycles in there. Right by the promenade for pleasant walks and easy access to numerous restaurants, it is an ideal choice in my book. Would I stay again? Without a doubt. For your information, for the local tourist hotel tax, you are required to pay you are entitled to a BODO card which gives you free travel on most buses and trains over a huge area, these are picked up from the hotel reception. The public transport system is excellent and the hotel is just a short walk from the main bus and train station. I definitely recommend this.

We stayed in a Lake View Suite. I believe they only have two of these rooms. It was a very comfortable room with a king bed and a glass wall between the bedroom and bath area. There is a curtain for privacy in the shower and a separate potty room, although the potty room door is smoked glass. The room did not have any coffee making capability, but breakfast is included. We had drinks in the bar upon arrival, which was very relaxing. We chose this hotel for the view, king size bed and proximity to the train station. We would definitely stay here again.

4473flaviasThey claim that this is a 4-star hotel, I wouldn’t give them even 2 stars. Location is ok, but it is old and very poorly maintained. We had two hotel rooms for our party: one of them had a noisy air conditioner, broken window curtains and no amenities beyond a poor bath shower gel, but still quite ok compared to the other room we got. The other room was at the lowest floor, dirty, without air conditioner (only two very noisy and dust-dirty ventilators, that triggered our daughter’s allergy), broken blinking fluorescent light at the bathroom, mini-bar was turned off to save energy (??!!) and door was badly damaged. From the rooms we could hear everything that happened in the parking, at the hotel aisles and the rooms nearby, so that we could not rest properly with every sound and light waking us up! And when we woke up the day after, we had to walk under heavy rain towards the main building for breakfast. Not even a standard umbrella to be offered as to avoid the guests to be soaked… And the prices are still for a 4-star hotel, which is completely unacceptable. There are better options nearby, avoid this trap by all means!

LLiz COrdinarily, I might pull my punches in a review in light of the fact that there are real people who work hard and put their time and effort into making hotels what they are. Thanks to reception-tron - the ATM which completed our check-in - I did not meet a single human being on the hotel staff, and therefore feel I can be brutally honest. The hotel building has an unassociated ****** on the ground floor, while the hotel itself occupies the second and third floors. Should you ever forget this detail, the secondhand smoke and cacophony of gamblers will swiftly remind you. If anyone in your party is prone to epileptic fits, I'd recommend avoiding the second floor, as the flickering fluorescent lights would be an easy trigger. We did not have high expectations for the room and amenities - given that this is a budget hotel - but we were still underwhelmed. The white tile of the bathroom walls had several visibile vestigial hairs from previous guests. The black plastic of the bathroom floor, shower and toilet almost fortunately concealed whatever else might be lurking. of course, the Poco furniture was cheap. In this case, it was particularly noticeable given that the proprietor hadn't measured the appropriate space for bed side tables or desks, and that as a consequence, drawers directly abutted walls. While not a significant quality of life issue, it serves to illustrate the attention to detail taken. But let us not bury the lead. At about 0230, we began to hear an angry wrapping or banging on a door out in the hallway. Due to the lack of soundproofing, we weren't sure at first whether it was our own door, luckily it was not. At first, we decided to be patient...perhaps reception-tron had improperly dispensed a key. However, our aspiring percussionist companion's problems ran farther deeper than a mislaid key. The knocking was violent and incessant over the course of about 45 minutes all told. It ultimately turned out to be a sort of cold war domestic dispute between our door knocker and someone inside the room who refused to let them in. We repeatedly attempted to call the reception, but the line was busy. After those 45 minutes or so, we decided to call the Polizei. For what it's worth, that's the first time I've called 112 in about 4 years of living as an ex-pat in Germany, which should speak to the severity of the incident. Thanks to the aforementioned paperthin walls, the person violently banging and yelling almost immediately ceased after I began describing the situation to the Polizei. When they did arrive and came through the front door, the situatino had been resolved. To our knowledge, the front door is supposed to be open until 0100, after which you can use a code provided to unlock it. We found this concerning, due to the fact the public has unfettered access to the hotel prior to 0100--if the Polizei were able to enter freely or had been able to acquire a code we are unsure of. POSITIVE: • We stayed in the room number 161 which might differ than other standard rooms • İnternet is very fast and practical • Rooms are very large and comfortable. • Very quiet place to sleep • A Greek restaurant is in as an alternative. • Kitchen was good and enough cutlery • Very comfortable and large balcony. • Fridge was working (not very cold yet but OK) • The receptionist lady was kind and helpful to us when needed. I have forgotten my jacket during check out and she was kind enough to post it to my home address. • Hotel has enough & large car park space. THINGS TO IMPROVE: • Self-check-in was not explained before clearly and wanted our time when we arrived very tired already. • Coffee machine was not working • Bath was good but the arranging the warm was not working very sensitive. It was little too hot..
