Excellent friendly staff that are polite and very helpful. Any questions I had were answered quickly and comprehensively. The self-service breakfast gives you a good selection to start your day. There is a restaurant also on site, but I didn't use it. The bar was good with the barman able to knock up a multitude of cocktails, from what I witnessed.  My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and perfect for me. There was a small fridge also where you could store some food and drink.  There is car parking available for a fee, I'd advise informing them when you book, but it is a reasonable charge, in my opinion. There are also garages that can be booked, I only became aware of this on arrival and seeing cycle tourists storing their bicycles in there. Right by the promenade for pleasant walks and easy access to numerous restaurants, it is an ideal choice in my book. Would I stay again? Without a doubt. For your information, for the local tourist hotel tax, you are  required to pay you are entitled to a BODO card which gives you free travel on most buses and trains over a huge area, these are picked up from the hotel reception. The public transport system is excellent and the hotel is just a short walk from the main bus and train station. I definitely recommend this.

Gute Lage direkt am Flughafen. Terminal, Bahnhof, Mietwagen und italienisches Restaurant in Laufdistanz. Zimmer gut und praktisch eingerichtet, inklusive Ibis-typischer Stolperfalle im Bad. Betten bequem. Die Zimmer mit Blick auf den Flughafen (inklusive Zeppelinhalle) sind natürlich interessanter als die zur Straße. Frühstücksraum hell und freundlich. Gute Auswahl. Punktabzug für die Beschallung: es mag sein, dass diese Art von Musik manchen Gästen gefällt, beim Frühstück ist mir Hip-Hop etc. einfach zu anstrengend. Dass dabei auf den Großbildschirmen RTL2 ohne Ton läuft, macht die Sache nicht besser. Mir wäre ein geruhsamer Start in den Tag angenehmer. Personal bei Check-in und Check-out, sowie Putzfrau sehr freundlich. Kleines Versehen bei Preisberechnung konnte problemlos korrigiert werden. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis okay.

we stayed there with our baby.The good things are the breakfast, free parking,low price and 10min with a car to Friedrichshafen.The quality of rooms (soft mattress,old toilet ,no AC,broken power socket)is fitting the price.BUT if i can give 0 for service i will give.On the check in we payed in cash and (after driving with baby )forgot to ask for receipt.Two days later on check out,from the same receptionist -who doesn't know for the word hospitality and manires we were treated like thieves that we didn't payed.The owner wasn't there to check on camera and on phone wasn't much helpful.We were obligated to leave copies from our documents,with a promise to get call when they check everything.No one called,i wrote them email and just got plain apology cause they had ”error in system”.I wonder how the cash was ok in system on the day when we checked in?

They claim that this is a 4-star hotel, I wouldn’t give them even 2 stars. Location is ok, but it is old and very poorly maintained. We had two hotel rooms for our party: one of them had a noisy air conditioner, broken window curtains and no amenities beyond a poor bath shower gel, but still quite ok compared to the other room we got. The other room was at the lowest floor, dirty, without air conditioner (only two very noisy and dust-dirty ventilators, that triggered our daughter’s allergy), broken blinking fluorescent light at the bathroom, mini-bar was turned off to save energy (??!!) and door was badly damaged. From the rooms we could hear everything that happened in the parking, at the hotel aisles and the rooms nearby, so that we could not rest properly with every sound and light waking us up! And when we woke up the day after, we had to walk under heavy rain towards the main building for breakfast. Not even a standard umbrella to be offered as to avoid the guests to be soaked… And the prices are still for a 4-star hotel, which is completely unacceptable. There are better options nearby, avoid this trap by all means!

Booked their newer room which is located at a separate building just behind the check in building. Room feels more like 30 square meters. Very comfortable bed. Do note that shower area has no door. Potty is located in a separate toilet just next to the main door (see photos). Love their buffet spread too!

Eine schöne alte Villa mit ausgesprochenem Charme. Innen hängen über alle Stockwerke moderne Popart Bilder. Das Zimmer im 3. Stock, selbstverständlich ohne Aufzug, schön renoviert und ausgestattet mit dem Nötigsten. Die Dusche ist in einer Zimmerecke, die Toilette außerhalb nebenan Wen das nicht stört kann wunderbar fast mitten in der Stadt preisgünstig und auch ruhig schlafen. Der Service ist unverkrampft und locker. Inclusive natürlich auch das Frühstücksbüffet mit den klassischen Angeboten. Einfach aber empfehlenswert
