The hotel is really close to the station and it provides all you need. To find it you can put the following into Google maps: tenza hotel hakata station. The staff is friendly, the level of English varies, so it is good to have Google translate or any other translating app on the phone. The breakfast provided a large variety of foods and for Japan a lot of vegetables (vegan &vegetarian) choices. There is no milk alternative served but that is rare in Japan anyway. All in all recommended.

Spent the first night of my family trip in this hotel in early April. We were well greeted by the staffs of the hotel, check in was quick and the staff would do everything to ensure you feel like home.
However, once we entered the room, we were “well greeted” by the odd smell of the room. We turned up the air conditioning and it was a bit better. Later when I had to tie my shoes, the strong smell came again so I suspect the odd smells comes from the room’s mattress.
Anyhow, the other furniture of the room was clean in general, despite they look a bit old (especially the bathroom design).
Our booking came with breakfast and it was amazing. There are two restaurants to choose from, one being set breakfast and another one being buffet. We chose the buffet, each food taste good with a good variety option, we checked out later with a satisfied tummy!
In short, software (hotel staffs and food) of this hotel was enjoyable, but do not have too high expectations on the hardware (mattress, bathroom design).

I stayed this hotel for business trip in 4 days and staying
this facility was so comfortble for me because it was located in near the biggiest station in fukuoka, which was hakata station, and there was delicious morning breakfast.
However, the room was a little bit of narrow and bed was small...

Good location. Good price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean hotel. Looks new. BUT... (1) I find the room too dark. There is a hallway light with sensor that I wished had a switch that could turn it on/off. It could’ve added brightness to the room. (2) The air-conditioner is centralized, you cannot control it. The air is not enough to cool the warm room. There was a time that warm air was being emitted so we had to open the window for cooler air. But opening the window lets you hear the street noise. (3) Toilet/Bathroom is small. If you are tall, you cannot comfortably sit when doing your business. (4) The hallway of the room is too narrow. But the bed area of our twin room is wide. If these are OK with you, it is still a nice hotel to stay in.

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

Pro: The location was great, with short walking distance to subways, Tenjin underground mall, and lots of eateries.
Staff speaks relatively good English and was very helpful.
Con: Room size was average but manageable with 2 large suitcases.
There is no driveway in front of the hotel for cars to unload the luggage. The road in front of the hotel was a narrow 2-way, so we had some difficulty unloading.

DDeznadNestled in the heart of Hakata, this hotel offers a haven of convenience within easy reach of delectable dining options, vibrant attractions, and transportation hubs.
As a first-time visitor to Fukuoka, I was enamored by the city's charm, and this hotel quickly became a highlight of my trip. From tantalizing late-night eats to leisurely shopping strolls and serene photo spots free from tourist throngs, Fukuoka had it all.
Upon arrival, it's essential to note that there are two hotels with the same name; the one we selected, situated in Gion, stands just a few blocks from the Hakata outlet. (A friendly reminder: Opt for metered taxis over the airport counters to avoid inflated fares.)
Check-in was seamless, and the hotel graciously accommodated our request to store luggage as we explored the city. Their self-service storage option, complete with a secure four-pin lock, provided peace of mind throughout our stay.
The hotel boasted comprehensive amenities, surpassing those of the three other accommodations we sampled during our journey. Our room, generously sized, easily accommodated our luggage with ample space to spare.
The provided onsen attire was remarkably comfortable, so much so I wore it out under my jacket for the second night! I recommend heading to the onsen in the afternoon and past midnight to avoid the crowd. Post-soak, complimentary popsicles awaited—a delightful treat indeed.
Pro tip: ince their onsen is located on the 1st level of the hotel, you can store your onsen items in the locker before heading out to explore. After a long day, you can head to the onsen to ”defrost” and clean up before heading up to sleep.
Equipped with a smart TV, our room offered the luxury of streaming our favorite YouTube and Netflix content, adding a touch of familiarity to our evenings. Another standout feature was the live updates on onsen availability and laundry room usage—though it's worth noting that the latter incurs a fee, a minor inconvenience amidst an otherwise stellar stay.
This hotel exceeded expectations, providing unparalleled comfort and unparalleled convenience. With all essentials at our doorstep, exploration was effortless, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Fukuoka.
PPengguna TetamuWe reserved 4 residential twin rooms in Tokyo Stay Tenjin from Aug 20th to 24th. As a frequent travellers (5-8 times to Japan annually), originally we had a very pleasant stay (prime location, all rooms are clean and we love the washing+drying machine in each room), until we experienced the life-time worst customer service.
I requested for 2 hours late check out extension to 1pm and agreed to pay for additional charges for all rooms (2000 yen per hour per room and I paid 16000 yen in total).
We experienced an unexpected long lunch on 24th and I sent a mail (at 12:30pm) via Tokyo Stay site to request for extension to 2pm (instead of 1pm).
When we returned hotel at 1:20pm, one of the staff pulled his face, scolded and yelled at my family members loudly in Japanese, and he kept doing that in 3 of our rooms, even yelling at elderly and children of my family.
My family members felt humiliated and were very upset. They told me that unpleasant experience, so I looked for that staff at front desk and asked the reason for the yelling and scolding, especially when we paid for all charges for extension. I used google translate in Japanese with speaker and there wasn’t any reply. When I asked for his name, he took off his name tag, ignored my request and said providing his name is against their privacy policy (All other staff were wearing name tags except him). He threatened to report to the police, if I keep asking for his name! Wait, what?
So I want to ask: 1: Does the policy of Tokyo Stay allow staff to yell and scold customers when they do late check out? (not to mention we informed and paid for charges already) 2: It’s your policy to report your customers to the police when they ask your staff for their names?
PPgcresRoom size for a 3 Bedder room is still alright for us. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. If you get to the hotel via Exit 6 from Tenjinminami Station, there is no escalator or lift and takes about 8 minutes from the exit. There is a lift from the station opposite of exit 6 though (near Diamaru) which we used when we left the hotel to go to airport.
Llollipoppu. It’s my first time staying at a capsule hotel. It’s near JR line, Donki Quite, Hakata Station, Convenient store so great location! The restroom and shower room is clean and spacious. The bed is wide and it’s quiet during night time. I love the features we can adjust the bed into sofa and the alarm one. The lounge is nice as well. Great place to stay!
SSpiiicyirisAll the check-in process is automated. There are three terminals which will give you access card. As walking with shoes inside the pods area is prohibited, I recommend you to first drop your luggage in the locker area (8F), take your mesh bag and use the provided skippers to walk around.
Tha bathrooms are on the 8F (next to the lockers) so be aware that you will need to change floor to take shower.
The lounge area is really quiet, most people use it as a work zone and there is a small balcony.
Overall I recommend this hotel it is a budget friendly solution and unique experience😉
888Tom88Located in front of Kushida shrine. ⛩️
Good access from Gion subway station.
Guests have to complete check in procedures by tablet, which is accessible to their reception center.
So, nobody at the reception. (Pin code is to be provided for room door control.)
So far, free breakfast is provided; it seems to be Udon.
Check out is completed just tapping on “check out” icon on the room tablet. It is good for their cost saving if they show the guest reasonable room rate. 🤭
PPengguna TetamuRoom size is good and have space for 2 big luggage. Bathroom is standing shower which we prefer to the bath tub. However, need to allow time to walk to the hotel from subway (need change train line at Hakata). Nearby we found 2 24hour restaurants
TTravelholicsThe location is good as it connected to a sizable shopping mall. The room is decent small but there was very poor sound proof. The musical fountain next to the hotel with loud volume awoke us every 10am in the morning. On the last day of our stay in 7am. The couple next door were having noisy adult exercise… bang bang bang… to the wall between our room was sucks. We heard their yelling and breathing clearly all thru the time. We didnt take any photos from the room…Its really a terrible experience for our stay….n we will not come again..
