Small room, transportation not so convenient, bathroom amenities too old, bath tub too small. Food not bad, customer service not bad. Overall not bad

It's so easy to write a review when the issues identified in the review of a previous stay last year remain uniformly the same. And since the hotel at that time wrote, ”you can be assured that your remarks will be discussed with our team so that your next visit will give you complete satisfaction”, but obviously did nothing, it seems fair to deduct another star from the rating. It's a pity, but I don't see why the blatant lie should be overlooked. So, copying word-for-word from my last review, ”almost all [problems] concerned breakfast, where the potatoes were tough and dry, where the buffet included no fish products (no lox, no hering, no whitefish) and no mushrooms, where the selection of bread was like that of a two- or at most three-star hotel.” Yes, it's exactly the same now as it was then. There are no other significant deficiencies at this property, overlooking the fact that it is a bit dated overall (though in good shape as far as I could see). Positives include: - Breakfast open from 05:45, this already sets the hotel apart - Gym fully equipped and open 24 hours; there is even apparently a pool - Room was large, with both a bathtub and a shower stall - Easily walkable from the airport (signage not perfect in a couple of spots) - Executive lounge food selection in the evening not very inspiring, just managed to be adequate Really, the hotel should address the deficiencies related to breakfast AND not dishonestly imply that you're going to but then fail to.

I had the most romantic and unforgettable stay of my life at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva. The hotel is a historic landmark on the shores of Lake Geneva, with stunning views of the city and the mountains. The location is perfect, close to the main attractions and shopping areas. I stayed in a suite, which was very spacious, elegant, and comfortable, with a separate living room and a luxurious bathroom with bathtub, the view is overlooking the lake. The room also had a lot of amenities Nespresso machine. The service was impeccable, from the check-in to the check-out. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to my every need. They made me feel welcome and pampered. I especially want to thank the concierge team and the guest relations team for helping me plan and execute the perfect surprise proposal for my girlfriend. Lorena, Jochem, Giulia, Justine, thank you all for your assistance and discretion. You helped me decorate the room with candles, roses, and champagne. It was a dream come true. A special mention goes to Audrey, who saved the day when the flower shop declined my order for a bouquet of roses at the last minute. He managed to find a solution with florist and delivered the flowers, just in time for my arrival. I almost had a heart attack when I heard the news, but he handled everything with professionalism and grace. Audrey, you are a star. The Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva is more than a hotel, it is a fairy tale. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay and my proposal so special. It was an experience that I will cherish forever. Really enjoyed our one night stay. Very comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. Used the bus passes to explore the city of Geneva. Spent some time at the World YWCA headquarters. Hotel Concierge recommended a nice restaurant, Brasserie Lipp. Great experience.

Well priced hotel in a very good location and close to main Geneva station with links to all parts of the city and beyond. Reception were friendly and helpful as were the breakfast staff. Breakfast is limited but sets you up with a croissant, hot drink and some fruit to start your day. Room was what you would expect from a city break hotel. Small but big enough and most importantly clean. Hotel was also quiet inside and out most of the time and if window open just the usual city noises of sirens. There is a lidl very close by which is nice, water, for uk people, is drinkable out of the tap (did not know this until I got here). All in all no complaints and for the price compared to many others I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

We recently stayed for 2 nights with a group tour. The hotel is directly across the street from Lake Geneva and a 15-20 minute walk to the old town area. There are a wide variety of restaurants nearby. We were originally given a room that overlooked the pool area. As soon as we walked in, the music from the pool area was overwhelmingly loud. The room was lovely, but the noise was unbearable. I immediately went back to the lobby to ask if there was another room available. I was really expecting them to say there wasn't one. As I waited for others in the group to check-in first, a hotel manager came over and asked if there was a problem. I explained about the noise and he said he would handle it. By the time I went back and got my wife, someone was waiting to escort us to a new room away from the pool noise. The room was lovely and quiet! Our luggage arrived minutes later. We were surprised at the thoughtful and efficient customer service. Later a box of chocolates arrived with a note of apology for any inconvenience. We were amazed! The hotel breakfast was good. We had no trouble finding a nearby restaurant for dinner each night. The concierge pointed us in the right direction.

The tram station is just in front of this hotel, and just walk few minutes to reach Cornavin Station. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The room is very spacious and clean. Just need to improve the breakfast. The menu is the same everyday. I ate the same food for 5 days😅

Tout le personnel est souriant, accueillant, sympathique, à la réception, au bar, aux petits-déjeuners, c'est si rare aujourd'hui qu'il faut le souligner. Une très bonne idée, les portraits de l'équipe dans la salle du restaurant ! Ce bel hôtel est situé à quelques minutes à pied du lac et à proximité de nombreux restaurants de tout style culinaire et pour toutes les bourses. Un parking souterrain est disponible contre supplément bien sûr, mais indispensable dans le quartier. Nous avions une agréable chambre ”exécutive” avec une grande terrasse au dernier étage, avec une vue sur le Jet d'Eau mais pas sur le lac. Normal, ce n'est pas indiqué dans le descriptif de la chambre. En résumé, nous avons passé un très agréable week-end au Novotel et dans cette très belle ville internationale qu'est Genève.
