Hotel Gent dengan Bar

Great location, great and helpful front desk, but house keeping was rather unclean / weird. I was still getting ready to leave my room, wearing my winter jacket and shoes etc, when the house keeping just entered the room and started cleaning the room straight away without giving me a little privacy before i leave. I was very uncomfortable and confused at that moment.

Perfect location to visit Gand. Lots of istory and many good restaurants walking distance. Reception staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and confortable with a mnce sized bathroom. The hotel has also a small swimming pool and a lot of amenities for children. Value for price

Perfectly comfortable bed, we had a perfect night in this high-standard and very charming hotel. The ceiling is really high, and gives the room some really pleasant space. The spa is also very pleasant, quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen. Nicht mitten im Innenstadtgetümmel, aber man kommt zu Fuß überall super hin. Das Zimmer ist groß und von der Einrichtung ausreichend für einen kurzen Besuch. Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ein großer Minuspunkt war allerdings das Frühstück. Man muss einen Timeslot am Morgen buchen, zu dem man frühstücken möchte. Trotzdem ist das Buffet total überlaufen, alle Tische besetzt und die Mitarbeiter kommen mit dem Nachfüllen des Essens nicht nach, sodass es fast nur leere Körbe und Platten gab. Sonntags war es etwas leerer, aber trotzdem hat niemand den Überblick behalten, sodass unser Tisch abgedeckt wurde, obwohl wir nur schnell am Buffet waren und unsere Karte + Handy noch auf dem Tisch lagen. Hier besteht definitiv noch Nachholbedarf

Great hotel, we stayed in the apartment they have in the building next door, the staff are very friendly, the apartment had 2 bedrooms and a fold out bed in the living area, there is a small kitchen with everything you need for self catering, there a nice shower and toilet in bathroom, a dining table and area to sit and watch TV. The biggest perk of staying here is the location, a short walk to city centre, full of bars and restaurants to appease every food/drink palate, all the people are friendly and the city beautiful, recommend taking a boat tour around this historic city.

quite far from the train station but close to attractions. a rather old hotel. the door locks are the round shaped ones. the hot water supply of the shower was not quite steady. the room is quite small for europe i think. the plus side is they gave us the room well before the official check in time. we arrived at around 10:30 and they gave us the room right away. there is a free breakfast buffet as well (even my room choice is the most basic one).

Location is quite convenient for tram and walking to centre. Room and bathroom and TV size are a bit small, but they are clean. Daily room cleaning did a good job, and the receptionists are really helpful and friendly.

The room was fine. We needed extra bedding and 2 nice staff came immediately and made the extra bed for us. However! We arrived with a reservation confirmation of 2 adults 1 child. Their confirmation had 2 people therefore the room they had was too small. They did have another room for 3 they said we could have but it would be 30 euros extra. At the time we simply agreed and paid as there was a big queue behind us and the amount was small. Buttons seemed like a con to extract more money from us, it wasn't our mistake as we had confirmation for 3 people at the designated price. It's a shame as I really liked Ghent and will certainly return but there are other hotels to choose from.

Vriendelijke onthaal medewerkers, kwam hier voor 3 nachten voor een relatief goeie prijs met een top gelegenheid (recht tegenover het station van Gent Sint-Pieters) schone kamers een oké uitzicht en genoeg ruimte. Zeker een aanrader dit hotel omwille van de bereikbaarheid.

Beautiful hotel with perfect view of a cathedral from our twin room. Hotel is in a historic building with lovely architectural features by the canal and the room we were in was a cleverly designed ”duplex” with the bathroom and sinks on the upper floor (ie loft) which made full use of the almost double volume ceiling in the smallish twin room we were in. The only drawback was that the steps were narrow and steep and would pose a problem if one had mobility issues. The toilet was located by the door next to the entrance but there was no sink for handwashing. Alcohol gel in a pump bottle was provided. There is a café, lifestyle / clothes shop and supermarket in the same building. Very convenient and the hotel's location was walkable to all the sights in Ghent central. The front desk staff were very polite and gracious and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived before 11am, since check-in was strictly at 4pm. We were happy to find that our suitcases had been already delivered to our room when we returned to the hotel at 4pm. There are 2 bars in the hotel - one which is open to the public which was buzzing in the evenings and a guest-only ”Honesty Bar” (1st photo) in which hotel guests could purportedly help themselves to liquor and pen down what they had imbibed - but I never saw anyone in it ! This could be due to a lack of ice or mixers. Or glasses. 🍸
