Main communal entrance was not clean and still wasn't cleaned when we left 3 days later Not easy to find no sign outside, location was good but would not return , the hand sanitizer in main entrance was disgusting and thick with dirt and stains on carpet and stairs entrance

I stayed here with my husband and toddler. We initially booked a one room apartment and Claire from head office was great to communicate with in advance of our stay to make sure cot etc were arranged for my daughter. As mentioned in previous reviews location is great. In the heart of the city centre. Across the road from M+S, Sainsburys and a Tescos. Lots of great coffee shops in walking distance too. Check in was very easy. You have a code that gives you entry at front door and your apartment. When we arrived we noticed a leak in the hallway of our apartment. We discovered a washing machine full of dirty laundry and pouring water out all over the floor. We called Claire who promptly arranged an upgrade for us to another apartment. This was a two bedroom on higher floor. We appreciated this. The decor of the apartment was nice and modern. Rooms reasonably sized. We had no problem with noise despite other reviews mentioning this below. Our one major complaint was cleanliness. The main bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. The floor was dirty and the bath was full of soap scum. The carpet in the kitchen and master bedroom had bits of broken glass and false eyelashes on it. We suspect the apartment had not been cleaned after the last guests. We raised this issue with Claire who was very apologetic and offered a partial refund. We feel the cleanliness issue was a genuine once off mistake and would stay here again.

It was a very poor travel experience, firstly the staff attitude was very rude, there was no staff at the door of the flat and we were hung up on after calling without a clear code to get into the building, secondly the room was too noisy, due to staying on the top floor, flocks of seagulls screamed on the roof all night causing me to stay awake all night, there was someone outside the door made some noise at 6 am. As I had booked this hotel for 3 days, I emailed customer service to ask for a different room, however, the staff replied that if I thought it was noisy, I should bring my earplugs, and even though I checked on booking that the rooms were still available for the next 2 days, the staff replied that the apartment was full. Finally, there were many stains on the carpet, which made the whole room very unclean. I would advise all of you to choose this hotel with caution, because I feel unbearable after only staying for one night and choose other hotels.
