Hotel berhampiran Sally Beauty, Glasgow

From the moment we arrived in Glasgow the staff were extremely helpful and checked our bags early and helped us through the check in process so we would only need to provide a name when checking in at 3pm. Our room was ready on time and Caitlin at reception took our booking for breakfast and provided us with great information on different things we could do in Glasgow. We visited Pollochshaw Park and the Burrell collection o her recommendation and spent nearly 4 hours there petting the cows and walking around the fantastic woodlands. The breakfast was fantastic and the servers i the bar were friendly and professional. The room was clean and small touches such as air con in room on a hot week and the choice of firm or soft pillows really made our experience in Glasgow better than we ever imagined it could be.

Excellent welcome and service from staff as usual. However the Glasgow CitizenM feels in need of an overhaul compared to more recent ones I’ve stayed in. Water squirted out of the shower attachment,a bit of the shower kept following off (not serious but irritating) and the desk looked scruffy. Location is great as it’s near bus/train stations,the underground and lots of great pubs and restaurants

Dalam keadilan penginapan pertama, bilik yang kami tempah adalah kira-kira £32 kerana ia adalah hari minggu. Ia adalah yang paling murah yang ada di dalam kawasan pusat bandar Glasgow. Oleh itu, ia mendapat pujian untuk menjadi yang termurah, namun biliknya kecil. Kami mendapat bilik dengan tingkap kedua-dua kali, sebenarnya saya rasa tanpa tingkap anda akan berasa sesak. Saya cuba menempah terus dengan easyHotel tetapi laman web mereka hanya ranap di halaman pembayaran, yang tidak berguna kerana saya telah mendaftar untuk perkhidmatan diskaun dalaman percuma mereka. Yang membenarkan satu jam tambahan di atas katil sebelum daftar keluar - jadi 11 pagi dan bukannya 10 pagi. Selain itu, ia membolehkan kadar yang lebih murah sedikit apabila menempah bilik. Saya juga menelefon hotel untuk memberitahu bahawa saya tidak boleh membuat tempahan dalam talian, mereka berkata mereka tidak membuat tempahan melalui telefon dan menasihatkan untuk pergi melalui laman web pihak ketiga kerana ia cenderung lebih murah. Dalam contoh ini, pergi terus adalah yang paling murah - jadi saya terlepas peluang itu & pergi melalui Trip.com kerana ia adalah pilihan ke-2 termurah. Bilik double itu kecil sehingga anda perlu merangkak ke atas katil untuk pergi ke sisi lain kerana tidak ada ruang yang cukup untuk berjalan di bahagian bawah katil. Bilik mandi pada asasnya adalah bilik basah sebesar tandas kapal terbang. Kebersihannya tidak begitu baik pada kedua-dua kali kami pergi. Kotoran di dinding bilik tidur, kotoran di bilik air yang belum dibersihkan entah berapa lama. Kotoran di lantai semasa perjalanan ke bilik juga tidak kelihatan. Kakitangan di hotel adalah baik, kami tidak diganggu oleh orang lain yang turut menginap di sana, jadi jika anda benar-benar mencari tempat untuk bermalam & tidak merancang untuk berlama-lama di bilik hotel anda - maka lakukannya . Jika anda sukakan lebih banyak ruang daripada 3 langkah anda masuk ke dalam bilik untuk ke katil & bilik mandi yang boleh anda jalani - kemudian teruskan ke tempat ini. Sarung klasik yang lebih murah tidak selalunya lebih baik.

Very basic stay but not cheap. Room is big and the bed is pretty nice but carpet and table needs a refresh. Bathroom was pretty antiquated but adequate. It is a walk to city center but there are a bunch of clubs and restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. Subway stop is literally right next to the hotel.

on sunday morning we were told check out is at 11am however twice before then we were disrupted by 2 staff members assuming cleaners walking into the room unannounced once while my friend was getting changed, we stay here all the time but it’s putting us off going back now

Receptionist welcoming and efficiently advised me of leal times abd the location of the restaurant. Door key card properly functioned throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful but would certainly if benefited from more guests. The resrurant was clean and tidy. Cutlery and plates were clean. The coffee machine selection was americano or nothing. I heard another guest asking for oat milk and this was quickly brought. Bedroom supplies of tea and coffee were plentiful. The bathroom was clean and consumables all worked and the shower pressure and temperature were easily controlled. TV was modern flat screen with a clean and working remote control. The TV signal was fine and the channel selection was basic but adequate. There's a spacious 24 hour well appointed petrol station with M and S food adjacent to the hotel. Soundproofing from nearby rooms was adequate and disturbance free. Staff were all helpful and kind. The hotel doesn't appear to do anything to encourage locals to use it.

We booked this as we knew our flight home to Glasgow Airport was landing late and we could not face the long drive home at such a time. By the time we cleared with our bags and walked to the hotel from the terminal it was 2am when we checked in. Unfortunately we were given room 115, which was opposite the elevators on the first floor. It was also not only an accessible room with wet bathroom (no shower unless you wanted to flood the whole room) but also had a ”connecting” door to the next room. No idea who was on the either side, but not ideal for either of us given our late arrival. I was feeling extremely tired and and went straight to my bed - unfortunately it was far too soft and it was a double, so we tended to fall into the middle where the ”hole” or ”dip” in the mattress was. With us both trying to sleep on the outside of the mattress for comfort we continually pulled the small duvet from each other in an attempt to keep warm after our return from Africa. The pillows were also too soft for my liking, however that was minor compared to the mattress. There hours later, at around 5am the corridor started coming alive with excited children heading off on their holidays, running and squealing, literally!! I can't blame them for being enthusiastic, but perhaps their parents might have understood that some guests might still wish to sleep at that time? Thus our morning continued so when we finally dragged ourselves up for breakfast around 9am I was extremely tired and somewhat grumpy... Now to breakfast; a fairly good selection was on offer if you came at a quiet time. I saw some guests leave towards the end our meal time as they did not want to wait in the queue for what was left. My main gripe about the breakfast was again, not the hotel's fault, but the guests, who presumably are not used to staying in hotels and don't know what swerving utensils are for. I saw one female guest pick up and touch several slices of bread and returning them before picking what she put in the toaster machine. I purposely picked a slice she hadn't pawed and waited whilst it went through the machine, then just as it arrived a young man (her son I believe) whisked it away in front of me. Manners non existent. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly and the food on offer was perfectly adequate if all the guests knew how to behave. All in all, we picked this hotel for a catch up sleep after a late flight in and we didn't achieve that so we will not be back.

Can from kent to Scotland fora wedding.we found the hotel on line and when we got to clydbank and found it wow very happy we had upgrade offered at no extra cost and a lovely view over the river thank you . Also the food was very very nice around fantastic

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel around 8 times and absolutely loved it. Beautiful modern comfy rooms, lovely bar area and the best ever showers! We have always experienced first class service from lovely staff. This unfortunately came to an end when we checked in last month. There was one really lovely young lady at reception as we arrived but she was caught up with another guest sorting out a problem with the TV remote control. I believe this girl summoned another staff member to come out from the office to deal with us. Out she came, never said hello, no eye contact infact was cold, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I'm guessing she was not happy at being called out of the office. So, with a cold and hostile attitude, we were checked in and given keys. As we always requested a downstairs room, I noticed our room was upstairs. I asked if there were no downstairs rooms, and we had requested this. She said”yes so I see,” and said no, there aren't any . So would you not think that when checking someone in who had requested a downstairs room, you would at least acknowledge this. Unfortunately, this has put me off returning and we have been staying at a different hotel. It's such a shame when the hotel is lovely and that one ”huffy” receptionist can ruin everyone else's hard work.
