Premier Inn Gloucester (Longford)

I need to start by saying that we were greeted for breakfast by Maxwell who was very friendly but also professional who made us feel very welcome and valued. Nothing was too much trouble for him. 5* service. So thank you Maxwell. Premier inn itself was very clean and comfortable and again staff were friendly although not many of them. Only negative was the cot bed wasn't very comfortable. The one thing we did notice was that the limited staff meant that each person was doing the job of 3 people. On leaving even the manager was doing litter duty. So i would say to high up the ladder of management, you need to stop overloading the staff and employing more staff. Overall experience absolutely amazing. Valued for money.

The Room my wife and I booked was up to standard .A comfy, warm night's sleep in Winter was obtained.A quick "check-in", with little hassle ,and a freindly staff welcome was appreciated,followed the next morning by a superb breakfast array.

We had a business trip and stayed at your hotel. It was a wonderful place. The service was really friendly, and the food was amazing I’d like to thank Beth and Louise on the bar for making us feel so welcome and they were so funny Also, the breakfast was amazing as it was piping hot Very comfortable bed and a restful night sleep on both nights we recommend this hotel to anybody. Thanks again.

Had a lovely break here but the room was very cramped. Bathroom was pretty clean but shower head faulty. It covered the floor of the bathroom with water as was spraying OVER tbs shower curtain. Husband ‘fixed’ it. Quiet location with nothing much within walking distance unless you count the pub/restaurant next door for premier inn guests only. No atmosphere in there unfortunately as it was practically empty each evening. Simone was a star though. Definitely my favourite member we is staff. Lovely lady. Room felt a little grubby with dust on one of the top shelves (had already put clothes up there when we realised it so they were covered) and cobweb hanging from one of the spotlights. Bed linen and towels clean. Room was very very warm so we had to open a window and that was without the heater on. Thankfully no noise from other rooms or outside. Chair in the room had some dodgy looking stains on so I wouldn’t use it. Overall a decent stay but not the quality I would expect from a premier inn at all. Would we go back? Maybe but the premier inn in the city centre might have been better as looked newer.

The hotel itself was the same as any other Premier Inn. However the breakfast was appalling, from the staff to the quality of food. The breakfast was the only thing I had eaten that day and about 5 hours later i was so sick. The food that was available, and not everything was, was barely cooked and the sausage and bacon were barely cooked. Could not find a member of staff to ask if they could be cooked for longer.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Gloucester for two nights and the rooms were clean, warm with new decor. The service was friendly too. I would return in the future. It is only a 20 min walk from the city centre, although we used the bus once. The pub next door served breakfast which was really good.
