Scandic Europa is the perfect location to stop if you ate going to a concert at the Ullevi stadium. Located right by the main station. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast excellent. We did have a couple of issues that were immediately sorted out so nothing negative to say. We left very early in the morning, Uber was on time and we were provided with breakfast boxes. Overall a very good choice.

The worst hotel to stay at in Gothenburg. Despite the wonderful people at the reception, the hotel is very dusty, and the service is very slow. We checked into a room with water leakage, so we asked to move to another room. The housekeeping took forever to fix the extra bed ( no bed sheets) I was at the reception while the receptionist was talking to the housekeeping, also begging her to fix our second room and explaining why. I asked for extra bed sheets and extra towels, which took almost 6 hours, so I went to the reception and picked them up myself. The receptionist was surprised that they were not delivered to our room. The breakfast is very poor. I am gluten-free, so there is no gluten-free bread. No clean breakfast items (see picture). The room was so dusty that you had to clean your clothes and items every day. Out of my above experience at your hotel, and with my 10 years in the hotel industry, neither myself nor my clients will step into your hotel again.

This was good hotel, located in the center of Gothenborg where you have good access to almost everything. It was a beautiful hotel with a good interior design. It was clean enough. As a not good point, we can say they don't put slipperies in the rooms that is a little annoying.
Breakfast was perfect with a very good anf acceptable range of foods and drinks.
Parking cost is too much here. It's almost 400 SEK per each day, buy you still have this alternative that park your car in some public parkings, with 10 minutes walking to the hotel and much lower cost.

It’s very rare you find a hotel that checks all the boxes but this is it for me. Had the friendliest welcome when arriving at a late hour. The check in was quick, easy and I was in my room in no time. I’d forgotten adapters for my electrical items, the hotel was like no problem. Turns out the rooms have USB and USB-C plugs in the rooms so was covered. Moving onto the room. I had the best sleep ever. Perfect climate control. Wonderful views to wake up to and just every little detail was just amazing. After a delicious breakfast (lots of choice, Swedish and international cuisine), I explored the hotel further, the gym looks really good (I didn’t use it… just told myself I should have) and they also had a sauna. Moving outside, the location. The freshest air ever (it was nice to breath there) and literally just over the water from the city centre. If you like to walk, it’s perfectly acceptable however as I travelled with people who don’t like to walk, the hotel directed us to a bus stop one minute away. Literally two stops later, you’re in the centre. The hotel pointed out the work being done on the water front. There’ll soon be the option of getting back and forth that way. Finally, the team. It’s clear that this hotel clearly has the customers at the heart of what they do. Everyone I spoke to was warm, friendly and open to sharing hints and tips to make our stay in Gothenburg magical. And it was… EVERYONE needs to visit this wonderful city. I’m already planning my next trip and I will definitely stay again at this hotel.

The room was clean and had an iron, kettle and fridge. The “double” bed upstairs was two single beds shoved together. Not worth paying for a third person as it was a sofa bed- which pulled out extremely low down so they basically slept on the floor. They also had a very hard section so was not very comfy. It cost us an extra 85 pounds for this- which was not worth it! Overall, it was a good stay as there is a swimming pool (limited opening hours though), they let you leave your bags at reception and the views are greta

Good location, Great reception from staff when we arrived to check in. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very modern and quirky with a scientific authentic feel. It made the hotel unique with the feel . The room was well equipped to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower is a power shower. Simply amazing. The food was of exceptional quality. The service was excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble. The only criticism I could mention, is the menu is very restricted, not much choice in main meals, but on saying all that, the meals they did have , are of very high quality, and you will not be disappointed. The food is presented very well and tasted amazing. We will be back. The breakfast is plentiful with amazing amount of choice. Very high quality and plenty to eat.Thank you for an amazing stay. Totally blown away with everything about the hotel , service and the food.

Not just an average airport hotel.
Set away from the airport around 5 minutes walk, the hotel is on the edge of a lovely green area with a forest to the rear.
Breakfast was top class, everything set out nicely and quality food.
Definitely a notch up on any airport hotel I've stayed in before.
Will definitely use again.

PPengguna TetamuThe staff is highly professional and with a smile and personality! We booked a suite at another hotel, But it did not meet our expectations, so I called Opera Hotel because I have stayed there before. I asked for a specific room I always use when I stay at the Hotel (Room 555) and luckily it was free. But the service in the phone and afterward in the reception was exceptional and I will highly recommend it to all my friends and contacts.

PPengguna TetamuExtremely well located in the centre of Gothenburg, directly opposite the central railway station, and the departure point of the airport bus. Nice restaurant and bar. Size of the room average but great to relax on the soft comfortable bed. Breakfast was very welcome and a good selection of Scandinavian offerings. Just nearby to a shopping mall so OK for essentials / fast food.
It is also within a short distance (5 mins walk) of the Botanical Gardens which had a colourful and varied array of horticulture - great for a walk and a bit of exercise after your flight.

We stayed in Pigalle Hotel Gothenburg for 2 nights The location of the hotel is very central and super close to the central station of Gothenburg ( about3 minutes walk), it is also close to tons of restaurants, cafes and a big shopping mall where you will find everything The reception when we first entered the Hotel did not meet our expectations, it was not that warm welcome and for a moment felt almost like self service, I thought it was bizarre for a 5 stars hotel to have average reception for their guests. Decoration of the hallway, the bar at ground floor, the entrance and even the stairs was surprisingly very vintage, romantic and outstanding design, overall it was charming and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Even the room design, the wall paper and the bathroom were all of the same theme (vintage & romantic and it quite warm feeling) The bed was super comfy, we slept very well like bears so if you wanna have a great sleep they got the beds and pillows for it. Also the breakfast every morning was nothing short of delicious and the taste of everything was great and you can feel that they only use fresh & high quality ingredients, the methods of the cooking and preparations were very 5 stars indeed, and the service of the staff as well, they were very friendly and professional. Nevertheless the room we stayed at did not match the pictures on the hotel web page, it was not very spacious neither was the bathroom, and next to the bed both nightstands had stains on them, we were also not pleased with the cleanliness of the room nor the bathroom as there were so much chalky limescale deposits all over the bathroom floor. The closet in our room was sort of broken and need reparation as it was quite warn out, also it had very small space to hang our clothes and even less space for stuff because it had only 2 small shelves. No free coffee, nor tea and not even water in the room, quite disappointing for a 5 stars hotel, I honestly was upset as there were no trash cans in the room, there were just one in the bathroom and you need to walk there every time you had trash to throw. Also although we were couple, we only got 1 welcome package and even that was very basic. In Summary: The Hotel have a charming, vintage aesthetic and an unbeatable central location. However, the room quality fell short of expectations for a 5-star establishment, with cleanliness issues and a lack of amenities. The delicious breakfast and exceptional service of the staff helped redeem the experience.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaCozy hotel with friendly personnel, and an okay single room. It wasn’t large, but it was clean. More than good enough for the two nights I stayed there. But it was in need of maintenance though: the doors and such were quite badly damaged.
I’ve added breakfast to my booking, and this was really good! Lots to choose from, and delicious.
One complaint: the rooms facing the street are not soundproofed enough in my opinion, too much of the noise of the quite busy road outside came in😕
Would stay again though, and I heard the double rooms are less noisy as these don’t face the street.

PPengguna TetamuThere weren't many hotels to stay for family trips. There is a room for 4 people, so I made a reservation right away. Unlike other hotels, the two-story room was unique. There's a room on the first floor. There are two rooms on the second floor, which can accommodate a total of four people. On the dinner soup buffet there was not much to eat for the price(209kr), but the breakfast buffet was excellent. The Lunch was 149 kr. Lunch was good. The view is good because there is a hotel right in front of the river. I was a little uncomfortable because there were no curtains in the bathroom window. I think it need curtains for the bathroom window. Free parking is very good!

SStevenC264My room was beside a busy children’s playground that ensured I woke up early, but at least the room was air-conditioned to a pleasant temperature. Showers were not in the best condition, but were usable. Breakfast was bland but dirt-cheap. All in all a “you get what you pay for” experience, so I can’t really complain.

BBO JINGThis hotel provided the slippers while you asked, the first hotel compare to others we have stayed. And the reception are all friendly and helpful to us. Although there are no fridge or water heater for the travelers. The breakfast is pretty good and various. And this town, Eriksberg, is full of historical stories with the shipbuilding industry. Also a nice spot between the Volvo museum and the downtown while your transportation is only bus.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is located right near the main shopping area and close to many interesting sites. Public transportation is a few minutes away as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice. The breakfast was good and there is a waffle bar available in the evenings. The street is very busy and loud so if you want some quiet you have to close the window (if you're on the street side) but once the window is closed the room is silent. Very good value for the money, I definitely recommend it.

PPengguna TetamuStayed for one night in July 2023 with my husband. Check-in was smooth, friendly front desk receptionist explained everything we needed to know for the stay. The room was nice and clean, with the amenities you expect from a city centre hotel. In our room were three single beds, reading lights, a window with blackout curtains, a small desk and chair, side tables, a wardrobe, a full-length mirror, smart TV. The bathroom had a good size shower with good water pressure and temperature, a toilet and a sink. No place to put toiletries, but that was not a problem for us. Breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, sausages and beans, toast, rolls, ham and cheese, various sweet spreads, boiled eggs and fresh-cut vegetables, cereals, juice and coffee. Good selection of breakfast staples. Positive: The hotel is dog friendly, we met a gorgeous labrador at breakfast. So, if you are not a dog lover you may want to check your surroundings. Accessibility can be a challenge at the hotel, as there are steps up from street level to reception. There is a lift but it's small, a wheelchair user may find it difficult to get in and out. The restaurant where breakfast is served is in the basement and consists of several small rooms joined together, and a person with mobility issues may struggle to get around all the nooks and crannies.

Lleimon這一個月也算是把哥德堡的低價的青旅都住了一把，所以藉此機會都評價一下，僅是個人想法，因此僅供參考，
但有兩點點他們相同的，就是沒有一家真的離哥德堡大學近，沒有一家的儲物櫃帶鎖。
1.性價比最高的就是STF那個青旅，（非常關鍵的是他們工作時間直接推門，不鎖門的，進去左手邊人工入住，衹有這一家是這樣，其他的都要提前拿到門禁密碼或是要門口對講機問詢，非常麻煩）雖然價格偶爾不是最低，但是可能分配的房間最少四個人的最多8個人的，顯示男女混住，但是人不多的時候，基本都是分開的，衹有人滿了才有可能混住，而且廚房小巧但是東西俱全。有個休息室看電視。廁所就是廁所，淋浴有單獨的，也有用簾子隔開的三人淋浴房。附近超市很近，看那個santa的輪船，後面就是哥德堡教堂，走過去五分鐘。站在高處俯瞰風景。最後，他們是免費的床單和被單。
2.哥德堡背包酒店和slottsskogens是同一家的兩個品牌的名字，也就是入住和離開都是一個櫃枱辦理，衹不過入住的樓層和房型不同，早餐和廚房都是同一個，廚房還好，稍微大，但是不整潔，然後也是八人或是六人的混合，因為人多，所以參差不齊，廁所和洗澡是和在一起一個房間。他們兩個青旅出門向北走一個路口就是林奈酒店，出門對面就是linneplatsens。這四家都在一起。唯一的好處就是離哥德堡的後山很近，走路五分鐘，然後哥德堡自然博物館免費。最後，他們的床單被單也是免費的。
3.哥德堡酒店就在城市的東側，在里斯寶遊樂場的南邊一站地，這個門禁在一樓，沒有辦法進去的時候衹能等着別人開門跟進去。周圍購物衹有貴的coop超市，四周除了遊樂場什麼也沒有，但是往北兩三站地就到了哥德堡藝術博物館，裏面有梵高的畫。這個的床單被單收費，因為非常多的房間，下鋪提供一個圍簾，還算是有私隱，但是人員眾多，八人間很多，廁所單獨，浴室單獨。廚房還好，小且雜。
4.這個林奈酒店是私人老闆，介於青旅和火車站小旅館類似的感覺，除非它的單間便宜到和青旅鋪位一個價外，其他時候，真不推薦。否則你可能都進不了門。他們評分低是有原因的。我住的單間就是因為便宜，比鋪位價格都便宜，所以忍了兩晚，廚房完全不能用，都沒有足夠的廚具，廁所也差，浴室還行。
5.哥德堡迷你酒店，介於火車站小旅館和如家快捷之間的感覺，廚房的烤箱基本壞的，然後廚具幾乎衹有盤子。能不住就別住。因為廁所和浴室也是公用的。
當然，除了以上的青旅和旅館，我也住了酒店，就是咱們國內意義上的酒店了，提供豐盛的早餐，各種東西具全，除了部分沒有冰箱。酒店就沒有公共的廚房了，當然，也沒有公共的廁所和浴室了，都是自己屋裡的了。因為畢竟價格在那裡。
所以綜合來説，求預算低而且你的交流無障礙，膽大心細，就住青旅吧，當然有人聊天，也有人不聊天。但凡你覺得來一趟還有些預算，想舒服點吃好點，選擇便宜的酒店吧。
