Champion Holiday Village

We were a bit apprehensive going to this resort because of the recent bad reviews but we all had a lovely time . The resort was lovely set in beautiful grounds and really clean particularly the swimming pools . Staff were friendly. The family pool was really nice with a bar area in the middle to keep cool. The food was fresh and plentiful- we would return .

Well we arrived late 1am reception was poor they gave us no information pack about the hotel, we were taken to the room and told if we need anything just dial 9 on the phone 1st problem phone didn’t work as we needed to call reception as we had no idea how to set the safe so if we go back to reception to be given a slip of paper with instructions on the safe, back to the room so we decided to see if we could get a drink or something. The young lad at the bar gave us more information than reception he gave us a drink even though it should have been paid for then told us they have water and soup upstairs if we wanted a late night snack he should work on reception. Back to the room plus side air on was amazing, but then we had no top sheet for the bed just a cot size cloth I would say, our sheets were not changed the two weeks of our stay even one morning the bed was made and the pillows untouched as they still had our head marks in them. They floor was so dirty as we put away our cloths and managed to use just the four hangers and keep the rest of the stuff in the suitcase my husband laid on the bed o this feet looked like he had been walking outside, also in the shower in the back corner on the floor was a little round piece of soap not our soap but from another guest this soap stayed with us for the 14 days in the same place we even put the plug next to it to draw the cleaners attention to it that never happened so we then called the soap Wilson as it was lost and afraid but before we left we put our old bit of soap in the other corner to keep him company for the best part I used the hairdryer in the room which kept cutting out THEN the smell of burning arrived as I looked at the hairdryer sparks were coming out of the wire that attach to the hairdryer. We grabbed a maintenance man who changed the dryer, All of this was reported to TUI rep but I don’t think the hotel listerned to her as we sorted it all, best bit was steeling a sheet from the clearing Trolley and putting it on the bed every night. The food was the same thing really chicken, turkey, fish, or they did have tongue BUT the food was ok and no bad tummies which is a plus. The beach was not sand but that’s fine they have a jetty that you can enter the sea from which was good. The staff around the bars and restaurants are amazing and work so hard. We did book a trip but on the tui app as it was cheaper than the rep selling it we also used the code summer24 and got another 10% off well after all of that anyone going into room 623 we have made it safe and the phone works also have a look for the soap in the corner of the shower and say hello

It was an amazing hotel every day breakfast lunch and dinner the food was amazing many choices to have, there was also lovely staff every day taking care of everything you need. Everyday there was pool activities held such as aqua gym, waterpolo and beach volleyball these were held by Ibrahim he made sure you did something. The room was always cleaned everyday by the staff with fresh towels. There was a beach right on the hotel which also had a beach bar with food and drinks which was always amazing would definitely come back!

Warm welcome on arrival, late check in, taken straight to the room by a receptionist. Very clean room, cleaners came every day to freshen the room up. Entertainment throughout the day and at night was amazing, early morning to night always something to do. Ibrahim was the best entertainer i've met! full of energy and always smiling!! Lots of variety of food, everywhere very clean 24/7 great experience

We absolutely loved our two week stay in Champion Village Hotel. We received a warm welcome very late at night and were shown to our room with an explanation of where things were. Our rooms (2) were large and clean, the towels were changed daily, sheets changed regularly and the room mopped down. Everything worked e.g. air con, shower, safe, etc etc. There was lots of wardrobe space (with coat hangers), drawers and cupboards. There was a good sized terrace/balcony (ground floor) with comfortable seating. Our room was close to the duck pond which was lovely. There were four pools, all clean and well tended. We did not use the quiet pool as we had a child with us but used the main pool, slide pool and children’s pool every day. The pool bar was well used but rarely had a queue of more than three people. The main restaurant has tables on large balconies or one section with air con. Tables are cleared and cleaned quickly to ensure there is never a wait for a table. The staff all work extremely hard. The food was delicious, lots of choice and well cooked, like the bars there was rarely a queue for any food. Our fussy granddaughter ate well at every meal, the three adults ate so much our weight gain was large 😂😂. Our daughter was wearing a sling for most of the holiday and staff always offered help holding her plate whilst she chose her food. We enjoyed the cafe every day after lunch, it was lovely to sit and enjoy a well made coffee in a shady forecourt. Had great cakes there too. We only went to the snack bar for one lunch, towards the end of our stay, it was absolutely fine but we loved the large variety and choice in the main restaurant. The evening entertainment was good, every night was different over the fortnight, was gutted not to win the bingo though!! The staff, what can I say? Hard working, helpful, friendly and the staff we spoke to all spoke English (although why we expect this is beyond me, like expecting English food - why in another country?) Mert, on Reception, was brilliant and so helpful. The whole animation team work so hard, lots to do and join in with. They invited people to join in but were never pushy. Very special mention has to be made for the staff of the Mini-Club - Petek, Aysenur and Levent (and Atak?). Our granddaughter went to virtually every session and loved it, all the adults were great with her. She also went to every Mini disco at night, loved them. Thank you for all your hard work. The setting of the hotel is gorgeous, loved the animals and particularly enjoyed the simple layout with everything being off one path. Thanks to the gardeners and cleaners for their hard work too.

Champion Holiday Village is lovely with some of the friendliest staff! The village, pools, beach area, restaurants were immaculate, no litter anywhere and cups/glasses lifted regularly. Rooms were really spacious. We had a double room and had 2 bathrooms and small but ample balcony. Food was a bit of a hit/miss, not much British food but always plenty of choice so never went hungry. All of the animation team were fab! Aykut deserves a special mention as he got us involved in loads and was a lovely person. The hotel is in a quiet forest-like setting (but only a 15 minute bus trip to Kemer) but had everything we needed on site and a shop straight across the road. We would definitely return in the future.

It was a very super experience! I spent some very good time with my family and the entertainment program was super! The water gym with Ibrahim was great. Food was excellent and the room was big and very nice. I recommend this hotel for families who want to spend their vacation in peace. There is no loud music in the evening, so it's a good place to relax from the stress of real world.

Champion holiday village is a lovely place, very pretty beach, nice area but a bit quiet. Food was a bit cold from the snack bar but the restraint was always nice and warm. The entertainment team are great especially Aykut. He was friendly the whole holiday and made us feel welcome to all of the activities. Awesome lad. Room was nice too.

Reading some of the recent negative reviews prior to arriving I started to panic about my decision, however I don't think those authors stayed at the same hotel... We arrived and were greeted by very polite reception staff who spoke English, check in was quick and staff took our luggage to the room, we stayed in a 2 bedroom family room with a balcony, which was a plenty big enough for us (2 adults and a teenager) room was clean and modern with double bed in one room and 2 sofa beds in the second, one thing I will say is if you like a hard mattress then you'll be happy for me it was like sleeping on concrete, however my teenager said the sofa bed was comfy. Our room overlooked the "quiet pool" which is where we spent most days this pool has a bar but only serves beer and soft drinks, be aware that if the keg of beer runs out its not replaced the same day and you'll need to make a short walk to the main pool bar, all bar staff were polite and could speak a little English. The main pool is great and perfect for those wanting to work on their tan but little escape from the sun. Beach area is beautiful with sand around the loungers but to get to the sea it's a few meters of pebble beach and the first few shallow meters of water are also pebbles so water shoes are a must unless you want to do that awkward barefoot daft walk which is amusing to watch, there are 2 peirs leading from the beach which you can jump from into the sea with ladders to get back up which was a great feature, water is clear and even some small fish that bump into you. On site watersports would recommend the 2 hour boat trip great value for money, jetski and other options very expensive with the cost of a jetski being around £100 for 10-15 minutes. The spa was amazing and would recommend the turkish bath really good value for money and the ladies do a fantastic job 👏. Food was good a little repetitive but a large range so always found something to have, but more catered for Russian and Polish guests than brits but hey you don't go on holiday to another country to eat English food it's good to try new things. Evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss with alternating nights between dance shows and a live singer at the main beach bar this is something they could improve slightly on. Bar service at the main beach bar in the evening is a little slow and I felt sorry for the barman who always seemed to be on his own and rushed off his feet. But a good range of cocktails. The onsite shop has a range of products but are massively over priced with the guy running it appearing to make prices up as he went along so earnt the name Delboy, there is a shop outside of the complex just across the road which has a better range and at a better price. Our room was cleaned daily with towels changed when needed and bedding changed if needed. Around the grounds of the hotel are a variety of animals from ducks to cats which was lovely to see. Overall no complaints and was a lovely chilled holid
