Hotel berhampiran London Room, Granada

Excelente ubicación para recorrer Granada, a 5 minutos de la Catedral. Hotel limpio y cómodo y atención de primera de su personal, especialmente Alberto fue muy amable y nos dio recomendaciones de donde ir y comer. Si vuelvo a Granada vuelvo al Sacromonte.

Things didn’t get off to a good start when our taxi driver drove us to the wrong Macia Hotel in Grenada. There are a few of them, so double check that your taxi driver verifies the address (and not just the hotel name). Being dropped off at the wrong hotel left us with story to tell and a couple fewer Euros for the second cab ride. Not the end of the world, though. And heck, we’re on vacation! The Hotel Macia Plaza is in the historic section of Grenada, facing a large plaza. The plaza features al fresco restaurants, and during our two say stay, impromptu parades and three different pairs of flamenco dancers! The area was wonderful for walking in all directions. We older folk took a five-minute, inexpensive taxi up to the Alhambra. After our Alhambra tour, we walked back to the hotel along a beautiful pedestrian walkway surrounded by a green forest and beautiful spring flowers. Our rooms (we had two) were disappointing. While clean, the rooms were very plain and tired. They lacked sufficient electrical outlets to plug in the tea kettle without unplugging the television. The front desk staff, however, was consistently helpful. Perhaps a reason the stay here is all the fun activity in the plaza. Certainly the price point was reasonable. Just don’t expect the Four Seasons.

Stayed for 2 nights on a room only basis. Spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Rooms have a good mini fridge, and there is a kitchen next to Reception with a kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Bus stop outside goes to the Alhambra for €1.40. Good selection of bars outside the hotel, and about a 10 minute stroll to the Cathedral, or Bib Rambla all on the flat. At the start of the narrow road to the hotel is a roundabout. Here is the Marquis’s sister hotel - great for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bread, coffee and a large bowl of fruit & yogurt will set you up for the day for under €10. Just around the corner you can catch the C32 bus to Albaicin for €1.40. Lovely views going up a very steep climb. Get out at St Nicolas Square at the top. There are a couple of cafés next to the square where you can enjoy a coffee or beer, with the most amazing views of the Alhambra, then catch the bus or walk downhill (about 20 mins) back into the centre. We were worried about driving and parking in Granada, so we parked up in a little town outside of Granada, called El Fargue (coming in from Murcia), and caught the N8 bus in. Cost €1.40, and travels down the only main road through every hour, just after the hour, to Jardines del Triunfo, which is the other end of the main Gran Via de Colon - a 15 min flat stroll from the hotel, or a 5 min taxi ride. N8 bus returns to El Fargue from the same place at half past the hour. Saved the stress and expense of driving and parking in the City. Very successful. We will certainly do it again, and we will also stay at the Marquis Urban again.

El hostal esta bien, aunque las paredes de las habitaciones son casi de papel y escuchas a los demás, el baño es muy pequeño y compartido.

Great location, minutes walk to the lively narrow streets with bars and restaurants, so good base. About a twenty five minute stroll to the Alhambra and the tourist train can be caught at the end of the street. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, rooms very clean, comfortable and all the basics available including wifi. ( The only thing we would have liked was a small safe as we had passports etc with us) in terms of value for money, excellent! Only downside was difficult to reach by car and car parking not easy. However staff were very helpful in explaining where we needed to go and we parked our vehicle about 200m away in a multi-storey. 52€ for 4 days, with a discount when the ticket was stamped by the hotel. Be warned, it was however the tightest car park we’ve ever experienced so tricky with a larger car, overall would highly recommend this hotel, thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

My family and I stayed here for three nights and loved the hotel. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to all places of interest. We were even able to walk to the market. The room was clean and spacious. The kitchen, while small, had the basics needed. The pool was very very cold but with the heat it was needed. However, you couldn’t stay in there more than 5 minutes without getting cold. The parking is a bit of a pain. If you have a larger car you won’t be able to use their garage as there is a weight limit for the car to go down the lift. Other than the annoying parking situation, I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more. We will most definitely be back.

Creo que es un hotel calidad precio razonable ,la habitación con dos camas amplías,limpieza bien ,en el desayuno hay variedad ,(pan,bollería,embutido gran variedad,galletas de muchos tipos,cereales,huevos ,salchichas,etc.fruta.vamos que creo que es un desayuno no una comida)está bien situado metro ,autobús y al centro llegas en 15 minutos.

Ha sido un acierto reencontrarme con este hotel anteriormente Hotel Granada en el centro de la ciudad junto a los jardines del Triunfo y la Gran Vía.Frente al hotel la parada de los autobuses.Excelente servicio de las habitaciones,así como la relación calidad-precio.Muy recomendable.

Vakantiediscounter brengt ons in dit hotel. Wat onhandig gelegen hotel dat alleen via de achterkant te bereiken is. De ingang ligt aan een groot plein, ontoegankelijk voor auto’s. We lazen dat er beperkte parkeermogelijkheden zijn bij het hotel zelf en de parkeerplaatsen kosten 24 euro per nacht. Voor een of twee nachten is dit geen probleem, maar we verblijven 11 dagen dus we kozen ervoor om de nabij gelegen te gebruiken. Om daar vervolgens te komen is ern hell of a job. Granada blinkt niet uit in autovriendelijkheid. Uiteindelijk lukt het en voor € 80,- zijn we klaar. Het hotel oogt verzorgt en redelijk modern. Personeel is vriendelijk, kamers mooi en schoon. Koffie en thee op de kamer wordt iedere dag aangevuld. We krijgen bon voor spa. Deze moeten we nog benutten. We hebben alleen logies, maar de cafetaria bij het hotel ziet er leuk uit en de prijs van de consumpties is redelijk. Het hotel ligt op een te behappen loopafstand van het centrum. Met 20 minuten sta je bij de kathedraal. Voor het openbaar vervoer moet je eerst het grote plein voor het hotel oversteken.

nous avions choisit cet hotelpour les prestations qu'il proposait. notre deception a l'arrivée car le bain a remous et la terrasse sont fermés. j'aurai apprecié de la part de la direction un mail avant notre arrivée pour nous en infomé car nous aurions choisit dans ce cas la un autre hotel. Apres un echange tres cordial avec le proprietaire sur ce fait, il a admit qu'effectivement il n'etait pas tres site internet et qu'il aurait du le mentionner. la gratuité des petits dejeuner en geste commercial a été apprecié. le personnel est tres tres agreable et tres souriant, la maison est magnifique. le petit dejeuner reste correct pour le prix de 5 euros. nous sommes quand meme partis decu car pour nous le prix de la nuité est sans les prestations proposées sur le site beaucoup trop cher.
