The staff are very friendly and professional although when we complained on a couple of occasions, it was not dealt with effectively. Room was basic but ok and the housekeeper was wonderful. Sunbeds around the pool were not a problem really although we had a family who came up to us and insisted they had reserved them when they clearly hadn’t. The woman almost assaulted my son by grabbing his hand and poking her finger in his chest. The staff didn’t want to hear our side, they just wanted to keep the peace. Not professionally dealt with at all. The pool was warm every day. Evening entertainment was a bit naff. We left and had a drink elsewhere as it was boring. The tattoo guy was very persistent in trying to get my son to have a tattoo and when he eventually got the message he still sat at our table but looked at his phone for over 10 minutes and ignored us and ignored us for the rest of the holiday. Really rude I thought. A little ground maintenance was needed, especially around the pool, chipped tiles that could be dangerous. Russians and Turkish were always first to be served in the bar and they were also rude. I saw 3 cockroaches Slides were dangerous too. The pool was too shallow to come into. My son and husband hurt themselves Would not rate this hotel as a 4.5 star

My sister and I stayed at the Doria Hotel in Bitez, Turkey in October 2023. It was a great time to travel in Southern Turkey and avoid the crowds but still enjoy warm (28 degree C) weather. Our room was very clean, bright, and well equipped with thick towels, bathrobes, and good quality toiletries. Our king size bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the blackout curtains as well as the complimentary bottles of water. The hotel itself is lovely and they were diffusing beautiful essential oils in the common areas. The hotel has 2 infinity pools with lounge chairs and other comfortable outdoor seating, indoor/outdoor restaurant seating and a beautiful view of the coastline and sea. We both had spa treatments (massage and Turkish hamman) with Dudunaz, the massage therapist who was just lovely. A big thank you to the front desk staff who spoke good English and were super friendly and helped to make our staff there even better. Thank you Ogün, Doğukan and especially Duygu! The hotel also served a complimentary breakfast a la carte so we enjoyed daily Turkish breakfast, amazing homemade yogourt and the excellent croissants. Bitez is a short taxi ride to downtown Bodrum and we found the location very convenient for us.

The location was perfect and within few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The room was large, modern, beautiful, and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was customized, delicious, and included everything. The staff were very friendly, courteous, gracious, and helpful. I had a parking spot right in front of the hotel. We definitely plan to return and stay here again hopefully soon.

Let's start with the positives. Our room on the third floor at the front overlooking the sea was very spacious and well-appointed with a comfortable bed and very nice bed linen. The only thing we didn't find that would have been useful was an iron and ironing board. The views from the balcony were stunning. The bathroom was large with good toiletries and space to put things away. The shower may not have been the most powerful but worked fine and hot water was always available. Breakfast was excellent, served until 11 am, with an extensive buffet selection and cooked to order items. On the less positive side, whilst the mornings were great the beach bar DJ started up at 2 pm with thumping bass'y music increasing in volume as the afternoon went on. This doesn't make for a relaxing time on the beach. Whilst to be expected in the main season we had not anticipated this in the first week in October. It was quieter sitting by the pool but if you like to sit on the beach in peaceful and tranquil surroundings this is not the place for you. The other significant negative was the excessively expensive food and drink. For some bizarre reason the menus are priced in Euros but billed in Turkish Lira which makes checking the bill quite difficult. Very few bottles of wine under 100 Euros and food choices were limited unless you wanted to pay a fortune. This had the effect of pushing guests away from the hotel to eat and drink; those who could easily afford it simply weren't prepared to pay unrealistic prices for what was on offer. A bottle of Pinot Grigio Blush was over 2,000 Lira when you could buy exactly the same in the supermarket five minutes walk up the road for 300 Lira. A 600%mark-up seems somewhat greedy! Unlikely we will stay here again.

I had a lovely stay in this gorgeous boutique hotel run a by lovely young couple who made me feel very welcome and at home. The room was very clean and well appointed, nice pool area, amazing views over Gumbet Bay and a lovely poolside bar. If I come back to Gumbet I will certainly book here again.

We ve been with family and friends for a day trip to Alikarnassos. We booked a cheap hotel (50€) per night for a two room 4 bed suite, each family. To be honest i was a bit skeptical considering the low price. Arriving at the hotel, parking was not an issue because of a wide street in front of it. Communicating was a bit difficult due to lack of English (on their account). As soon as made the reservation,i headed for the room to be surprised in a good manner. The rooms were clean, with new furniture. Equipped with A/C fridge and tv. There was also a pool. Breakfast was free and delisious, served in front of the pool. The only disadvantage of the hotel is that it is not on the beach, it is located 10' by foot from the nearest beach. Concluding, is was a pleasant experience that we are considering having again in the near future!!

Gayet sıcak bir aile ortamında tatil yaptık. ** Tek sorun tuvaletteki kokuydu, artık belediye ile mi alakalı kanalizasyonda mı sorun var yoksa geçici birşey miydi bilmiyorum fakat ne olursa olsun harika 2 gün geçirdik. Bir daha kesinlikle GELECEĞİZ 😊

9 nights to gumbet staying at the baba next door to Nagi, however very disappointed to see how dirty and run down babas beach side was so I went along to nagi to use their beach side (all hotels happy for you to do this if you purchase drinks/food) Customer service from all staff was amazing, good mornings/good afternoons, remembered your name, what you drink! Ordered and Brought the drinks and food to your sun lounger, always smiling, happy, get to know you as a friend not just a customer. Run a tab for the day and pay at the end of day. Food was amazing, chicken sandwiches, Toasties, omlèttes were my main go to for lunch and all come woth chips and salad, all for around £3. Staff constantly walking around serving. More staff cleaning the beach area, tidying the loungers once people left, wiping down tables and loungers, even had a net to sift thru the water for litter in there at times. When I used the pool side toilets, always staff there cleaning or restocking, not once did I see a mess or sandy wet floors like u often do. Security at the hotel entrance. Any dogs or cats that came on beach were scurried off by staff so they didn't pester for food. free WiFi Literally can't fault this hotel for its beach side and food service. Spoke to many of their customers who said great hotel, inclusive breakfast was great, fresh omelette cooked to order. I have stayed here but many yrs ago, will.definatly be looking to return and stay at nagi GREAT WORK TO ALL STAFF, MANAGEMENT BE PROUD OF THE TEAM YOU HAVE AND THE SERVICE YOU GIVE YOUR CUSTOMERS XXX TRACY
